Just like alot of weapons, in duviri this shit slaps if you have the right decrees. This with the decree that increases fire rate per hit and the decree that reloads on kill is just funny.
I'm surprised you didn't use electricity instead of gas. To answer your question about Mot, It's good if you're trying to specifically test base SP damage or testing a frame's survivability (due to the triple damage modifier). A harder test for damage would be Circulus, since enemies have higher EHP there, plus you also have sentients and thrax to test against
