Merci beaucoup Dylane. I find reflexive verbs rather difficult but this video, the PDF and audio examples are excellent. I feel that I have a much better understanding of them now.
Dylane do you have any suggestions I should start learning french with? Im been learing french for years but still don’t understand anything So what should I start with?
Hmmm... I did not notice your glasses until you mentioned them neither I heard the dog, I was paying attention to the lesson 🤓 I enjoy it and it was very easy to understand, Thank you!
Mille mercis Dylane! Another awesome video. I really like your glasses 👓 and you look so pretty. Please do a video about Irregular French reflexive verbs.❣️I can’t wait for the new books in 2024! 🙌 📚
Merci beaucoup madame The free pdf are of great help always .Is there any way we can download the audio too .please make a audio comprihension with questions Merci
I love your English accent. It's easy to understand. Also do you get confuse with language? Because I'm learning Spanish too and French and Spanish are somewhere similar and get confuse alot.
Hi, could you please do a video on when to use "de" in possession? We all kinda struggle with it at school. For example, why is it "La Tour Eiffel" and not "La Tour d'Eiffel"? I would be really grateful for that 😊
Hi :) I have a video about de in my grammar playlist but for La Tour Eiffel, it's simply a noun of a landmark so rules don't really apply in this case :)
@@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane Ah, merci. The teacher told us that it is "La Tour Eiffel" because Eiffel doesn't own it. That makes kinda sense, but then I don't understand why there are then "Les champs de Mars" 😂 I don't know, I still don't see a pattern. Is it a grammar thing or it depends solely on the name of the place?
Thanks for great lessons ,You don’t need to apologise for glasses people should concentrate on your content and besides ,you are beautiful with or without glasses ,French is my 9 th language, struggling to keep motivated ,so thanks for your enthusiasm,Mike

Bonjour Dylane! Amazing video, thanks lots! I have a question tho, it would be awesome if you happen to see my comment and answer it for me. In the example of s'amuser, the example sentence "On s'est bien amusés à la fête." Why do we use "amusés" instead of "amusé"? If you or anyone else can please answer for me, that would be great! Thank you.
Good question Jennifer! Here ON represents more than one person, and since it's conjugated with être, the past participle agrees with the subject in gender and number :) I hope it helps.
I understand the concept of reflexive verbs. What I don’t really understand is why some verbs are reflexive to begin with. For example, I can't understand why "I remember this movie" would be "Je me souviens de ce film". In this sentence, I'm not remembering myself...I'm remembering something that doesn't seem reflexive back to me at all...this movie. So, if I didn't know any better, I would translate this example as "Je souviens ce film". Anyway, I hope this makes sense what I'm saying/asking. If there's an explanation as to why a verb like "to remember" is reflexive, I'd love to know! Thx, Dylane!
It's funny because for me it totally makes sense that this is a reflexive verb since you remember it in yourself. I guess that's because we use it differently in our languages :D
Superbe vidéo! J’aimerais que tu fasses une deuxième partie avec les verbes irréguliers. On ne peut pas trop revoir le français. Il faut de la répétition pour maîtriser la langue. 🤩
I was confused by your intro example with 'se couper' since it was using passé compose and aux verb changed. But I assume etre always used with reflexives? But maybe I was distracted by your glasses haha
Thank you Dylane, this is a fantastic lesson. Can you explain how to treat reflexive verbs in passe compose? I note your sentence in the 30 days challenge on Day 3 - Ce matin, je me suis reveillee a 7 heures. I am not sure why the verb etre is used and not avoir. Merci!
I have a lesson on my conjugation playlist about it if you want (I can't add links to my replies or it gets deleted by UA-cam), but to make it simple, reflexive verbs are always conjugated with être :)
Thank you for all your excellent videos. Would one say " Nous devons nous arrêter à la salle de bain?" Can you say " nous nous arrêtons..."? And can you say " nous arrêtons la voiture"? Thank you
