As you know, I am a major fan of picanha. This amazing cut of beef can be delicious, and this Rotisserie Picanha with Parmesan Crust does not disappoint. Cooked slowly over the flames till perfect then garnished with Parmesan Cheese for a nice savory touch. Finish with a Fresh Salsa and you have a meal. So freakin delicious! here in Brasil picanha is usually not served with a chesse crust we leave that to the filet mignon. However great job with the "molho a canpanha".
Here in the US we like to Remix other countries dishes. I'm usually against it, BUT thisssssss? Thissssss is a work of arr
Try adding a pan underneath to catch the juices and add that to the sauce…money!

It wouldn't be so rich in flavor bcs smoke wouldn't get to meat as good as on open coals heat. It would be delicious as well but not as good.

picanha is ❤my favourite when out dining with friends at the steak house buffet (they have flavourful cold smoked salmon, delicious palm hearts all kinds of salad + lovely Proscuitto)

Picanha is amazing for the price. I can get a whole roast for 20ish bucks and get 5-7 decent sized steaks out of it.
Never really used to do sirloin before, but with the way the fat cap renders on the picanha, it just comes out amazing. I usually just do sea salt on it then slow roast it, but a parm crust with chimichuri is a nice touch.
Where you finding them? My Publix can’t get them and every time I go to my local butcher he’s always out.
@@cammedls3532 I'm from Chicago, so the only reliable source I've been able to find without doing extensive searching around all the small grocery stores or butcher shops is Wild Fork. They have physical stores, but you can order online from them.
Just an FYI, they do come frozen. NBD to me, especially since it's something that's difficult to find, and I really haven't noticed any problems in quality after thawing.
You're lucky, in my country a whole picanha sells for minimum 76 euro's and I can make 7-9 steaks out of it

When you said "with parmesan crust", i thought you'd just slap a giant piece of cheese on top of fatty meat like some YT cooks do, but thanks God you didn't. Actually made a nice salad to go with it, which is great! Looks delicious.

2 seconds in, I hit the thumbs up button.
Had this basically every second day in Brazil along with many different cuts of meat they never used the rotisserie even though alot of them had the motors sitting there and wasnt on a kettle type bbq was in a fireplace that had the fire really low and different heights to insert the skewers ive replicated it at home on my kettle but juat isn't the same as theirs the fat dripping and the smoke it creates that flavours the meat is just different because of how they have it set up. I really want to build one where i live such a unique flavour
