This brings back such memories. Dad's was a beautiful dark sea green metallic 4-door sedan, with a black hardtop, which he bought new for $2,900. We moved across the country twice in it, and I got to drive it some as a teenager. The only real mechanical issue I can remember was with the air-conditioner - once on the way to church the freon discharged, looking like someone popped a smoke grenade inside the car. The '72 was a hell of a well-built automobile.
My parents bought one of these brand new. Red convertible with white top and brown vinyl interior. Small block 400. Mom put aluminum slots on it and dual exhaust. Glasspacks were it back then. Took it for a few test drives and it burned one tire for 1/2 mile once. My sister took a big chunk out of the drivers side head rest with her teeth. Don’t know why. lol. Good memories cept when I got caught driving it (only 13) and grounded for a month!
My favorite car was a '72 Caprice Classic my dad gave me after college and he purchased his Pontiac Bonneville. The Caprice was metallic gray with a cream vinyl top. It also had the concave window in back, which gave it a fine space age look. I cried like a baby when the engine blew up because a mechanic didn't properly screw the oil pan shut and I blew up on the freeway. I've never owned such a fine car since (and I've owned some very nice cars). The Caprice was simply luxurious and beautiful. A pleasure to drive!
The 350 V8 engine and drivetrain sounds a lot like a 1972 Chevy Biscayne 4 door sedan when I remembered my dad used to own a tan 1972 Biscayne 4 door sedan with a black vinal seats front and back since it was brand new and had it for almost 7 years, same motor as this one and very great amount of power and so much more roomier we used to ride 7 people in that car once in a while when I was a kid, that's how humongous the interior was.
The second car I ever owned was a 1976 Chevy Impala. I bought it in 1978. It was an absolute boat. It was a great car though. I love that shade of blue. Really pretty car. Bavk in the days of drive in theaters. You could fit a ton of people in that thing.
I had the exact same car.color everything.exept for one thing mine had a/c.i tell you if that were my car I would for sure put a/c on it.its a great car.i live in fla.brings back memorees
What nice example of how clean 72 Chevy Impala should be with awesome blue paint thought from start of video was a convertible but see did walkaroud Nick it's vinyl top.
That's a nice running car, very smooth and quiet, plus lots of room to stretch out your legs and get comfortable. That would make a nice car for road trips.John M Guinto
Before covid I sold One in better condition than this for 6000 and a 2007 Harley softail. If I had known the price was gonna blow up I would’ve never done it I paid 5k for it lol. Nothing beats my mint condition 75 caprice vert I bought for 3000 and sold for 7000 with 26s on it lol same car would go for 35 now

probably a one owner,definately garaged most of it's life..super condition,especially for a 51 year old car!
That was my first car, 72 chevy biscayne.
Nice original looking Chevy. Seems a bit high priced though for that generation. I guess the price of everything is going up nowadays.
When the rich nerds who keep paying the inflated prices run out of money, the economy will come back down to normal.
That sweetie would make a nice driver. Only thing missing is AC but that can be remedied easily enough.
Looks nice without those giant wagon wheels.
Yes but Rally’s would look good!
I agree 110% the original hubcaps look so nice theyre original as intended
impala one of my father's favorite car I remember it was a Impala park in front of the house 🏡 all the time 👍
My Dad had a silver 72 Impala that he kept for five years. Lots of great childhood memories of going on long trips.

1 of the best SBC motors I ever had come out of a burnt impala like this !
I like the older Chevy's. That's back before they became government motors
One of my favorite first cars. Mine had the custom rear glass. Just a sick car!
I remember when they came out in fall of 1971. I was living in Kalamazoo, Michigan at the time.
Love them old impala's had a 70
How much would I have to put down with a average of 650 credit score. How much roughly would the payments be. And to ship it to California?
My brother had one but red. It was one party carrying car big inside. This is a clean old cruiser nice thanks for the ride.

Can you just imagine if this was off the coast of the keys how many lobsters could hide in that trunk in the water. Haha

WOW THAT 72 IMPALA SPORT COUPE IS MEAN. LOVE THE MASSIVE FRONT BUMPER GUARDS. MAKES THAT FRONT END LOOK KILLER MEAN. THAT IS A SOLID LOOKING IMPALA
My pop had this one when I was a kid.
It's nice but I like the look of the 1971 Caprice better.
I had a 73 mint green, and it's was a tank.

She's a beaut, but not a $19,900 car. It's in good condition, not pristine, maybe worth half the asking price
Well she old for asking price long ago
😍❤💯👍
All she needs is the gm rallies, white letter cooper cobra's and roll out. 70 to 71 are my faves but I would ride out in that lady.
2:41 beep!
Smoothies car nice i like it
I LOVE IT
Hey nick top of the morning to u this Joseph hot springs want to ride again
With Biden dollars per gallon I hope there is a gas station every 5 miles. That being said I need me a cruiser
That car will get close to 20mpg on the highway provided the it is in good tune and if the driver has any sense.
Beautiful car.
Some old black dude is gonna scoop this clean baddie. 💪
