The section 58 of the chieftiancy act mentions only, and I repeat only the ASANTEHENE before pluralizing it as and the paramount chiefs. It sounds to me that the ASANTEHENE is the greatest of all. Secondly, the ASANTEHENE has about 65 paramountcys serving under Him as a KING in His kingdom. Another fact is a certain cheif can upgrade his status to be a king if the said cheif has the ingredients which qualify him to that level. Let us live united because united we stand divided we fall apart. Thank you very much. God bless us all.
This case was resolved in the case between Mansa vs Adutwuwaa in the Supreme Court of Ghana 2013 and it was unanimous. It’s available online and anyone can just Google it and read justice Dotse’s judgement. If Doormahene is a true high court judge as he claims he should be familiar with this case and as someone who has sworn to protect the justice system and constitution then he should respect the judgement of his superiors.

If what Dormaahene is saying is true then we have to amend the chieftaincy law of Ghana.but what I can say is that we have Ashanti kingdom which is not representing GHANA rather for Asantes alone and the Asantes are tribe and not governmental landmark for development.
Dormaahene should consider that and respect Asantehene. He is the king of Ashanti and we should appreciate that simple.
Asante is not a tribe by name. Asante is a combination of individual states and tribes coming together in a common consensus with the aim to fight for lands and attain independence from then treacherous Denkyera who treated others states under them as vassals.

First there was no division in the Ashanti kingdom until the British war with the Ashantis in 1895 to 1900. Your so called Dormaa were no where to be found in the Ghana map. Learn common sense.

No Dormaahene is not being forced to come back to join the confederation. Dormaa has its right to remain isolated. However, Dormaahene trying to incite and instigate other Bono areas to detach themselves from the confederation is not right. His intention is to organize them together to rebel Asanteman so that he, Dormaahene becomes their overlord. Let’s remember that Dormaaman is not originally Bono. Dormaaman has been fugitives running 🏃 from the wrath of war from Akwamu then from the Asantes.

Otumfour elevated the Dormaahene to the paramount chief. So if he disregard Otumfour as a King then he should also stop calling himself a paramount chief errr. Because a paramount chief cannot elevate a paramount chief. Dormaahene should be ashamed of himself for altering such words.

What are you saying? Confederation is a group of people coming together to form and alliance. And of course they need a leader, they agreed to make Asantehene their boss and swear the oath of allegiance to him. So which one is he doesn't understand Confederation? I don't think he is being forced to join any Confederation, but he cannot twist history. As at today, the Asantehene is still the king of Asanteman and that's the truth.
