You broke the tab that holds the LCD in. It still worked?
It did snap back to where it was, so no problems at all.

I installed a new LCD which didn’t work. I put the old faded one back in and it don’t work any more. I broke no pieces and the ribbon is seated. Any suggestions?
Maybe you bought a cheap one on Ebay - before you buy sg there, look at the feedbacks!!!

well in order to take it off and not brake it you need to press on top and then slightly the bottom....
