I wanted to set mine up as an access point using the ethernet port feed from the router in my basement. I haven't seen a setup video for doing that. But i did manage to set it up like you did and it works ok. Just wanted to extend the wifi to reach the garage in the back yard 60 feet away. Works good enough to stream video on the tv back there. Nagset up ako nito using tether app. sinubukan ko ikonek sa lan rekta sa main router nawawala connections. converge router gamit ko and ok nman lan port 2 ko nung nakakonek sinubukan ko ikabit din sa lan 3 pero nawawala connection. ngayon through wifi ok ang set up. kailangan ko ba iaccess sa website etong sa lan nang extender?

Is it possible to hide wifi SSD of the TPlink RE505X ? It mean when the SSID is hide, if first time to connect will do manual add network.
Looks like you can do that from your main router settings.
I would like to set this up to boost my 2.4g speed as many of my devices only work at 2.4. Would I be best to configure it online instead of the app?
