Here it is on Sunday morning, snowing VERY hard. We have been 'prepped', and I cooked, am making coffee, even going to put boiling water into thermoses. I pray it will not be as 'historic' as they say, since we havebeen through some bad ice storms. ICE and a lot of snow, is a BAD situation. God bless all affected, all that need to be out in this, First Responders, medical people and power workers. God protect anyone in it, and the animals.
I'm so glad that I'm retired and can prepare before the storms come in.I also don't have to drive anywhere. My only problem is I can no longer shovel the driveway. I may be here until spring!
I'm retired too. Yeah, the driveway. The worst part of shoveling is what the snowplow leaves at the end of the driveway. It's always a mountain of snow. I wish they wouldn't plow my street.
The storm isn't coming our way in Michigan but I always keep extra food and water anyway. Prayers go out to everyone in the path of the storm. Especially for those who have to be out in it 🙏
Today is my birthday evrryone!! I turned 62 today🎉🎉🎉🎉! I wished for snow for my birthday here in Mississippi but instead I'm getting temps in the 60's and tornadoes, hail and damaging winds up to 60 mph!! Sounds about right doesn't it!! JS
I live in rural South Central Pennsylvania and also expect to get hit with snow on Monday. One thing I always keep in my pantry closet every Winter is 4 containers of shelf stable milk. Also, when I moved into my new rancher I had a whole house Generac power generator installed. It keeps my heater, hot water heater, air conditioning, fridge, freezer, computer, televisions, and lights working. It was an excellent investment. I don't worry if power is lost, because it immediately kicks in. Just heard that the storm is getting bigger.
What powers the Generac? I'm looking to build a house in OK and want a whole-house generator. Generac is high on my list. I'd love to know your experience with it.
Hi! Buffalo, NY here. We're used to it, but want you to know that all will be good. Stock up and stay home! You might want to consider making an emergency pantry...powdered milk, or shelf stable milk, canned meats, soups, snacks and beer!! Good luck!
Be safe this weekend! I live in southern Illinois in the freezing rain strip. It has started here but the worst is supposed to be here between 11-5 today and then heavy snow. Not as much snow as you’re supposed to get though. Our store shelves were bare by last night. Thankfully I already have everything l need. Still praying hard that this weather falls apart. 🙏

Snow has arrived early Sunday morning. I am glad to not be going to the job. Remembering the years we couldn’t to get the door open to leave work as snow packed to the top of the door❄️⛄️
Our Kroger was out of the roasts on Friday. I should have gotten a raincheck. Good afternoon fellow Hoosier. I'm on the far westside of Indy. Pulled up the new ad last night and they have some $1 deals I hope to snag before the sale ends.
@paulawinstead5660 Me too. I live on the East side. I go to the store on N Keystone. I really like that store. They have some really good produce too. Hope you are staying warm and safe.
Hi, I'm just outside of Indy but I don't drive now so I stock up on canned milk and a lot of other things that will keep, I only shop once when I get my social security in the bank. Our stores are often out of stock on many sale items, makes me so mad. Won't get another chance once I pay all my bills. As I type this we have had a bunch of snow falling, stay safe and warm!☕
@marciamar-sha_remember2838 I know my Kroger's does that a lot. I remember when the stores used to give a raincheck on sales items. I am hoping you stay safe and warm during this storm.

Right now, snow is starting to pile up quickly, the base is closed and it’s sooo dark and gloomy outside.
good morning Danno!!!!! The grocery store rush comes from the blizzard of 78. People were stranded in their cars and grocery stores were looted and running out of food because the trucks couldn't get through. That was one of the few times that I saw my mom cry. My dad had to go to the store on one of the horses. He came back empty handed. It was a horrible time and that is one of the few times I remember seeing my mom cry. So, that is why people run to the store before a storm hits. People are afraid of being without food and toilet paper.

The sunshine warms the air and that will bring in ICE, just like when it comes out between thunderstorms, it makes tornadoes more likely. I watch Earth Master for a daily report on all things Earth-related, THEN I watch Ryan sometimes.
I love the snow I'm originally from Cincinnati Ohio so I'm used to the snow and I love it so I'm always excited when they say snow is in the forecast here in DC which isn't often so everyone be safe
I'm in Rhode Island and we basically getting nothing from this except the cold temps. If I'm going to freeze I want to see beautiful snow ❄️ to deal with it
we say, DO NOT drive in this type of storms. Stay home!! I am PRAYING everyone will be okay, PLEASE DO NOT take chances, stay safe. DO NOT use bq grills or gas generators inside! NOW check your smoke detectors, time to fill containers with water.
I’m in northern Illinois and the storm is supposed to miss us unless it tracks farther north, but 2 hours south of us is supposed to get a foot of snow. I got a notification on my phone from Meijer about the 7 for $7 deal. I haven’t checked the ad yet, but it’s supposed to run from 1/5-1/17, so people will still be able to take advantage of the sale after the storm.
Speaking of milk, my local Safeway really jacked the price up on their gallons of milk, went from $3.89 before New Years to $4.59 a gallon and that’s for Whole & 2% milk.
Amen Miss Rurh. I am headed to work now ,Nurse, praying for people and my brothers and sisters as first responders. May the Lord keep you safe and warm.
Went over and got your dumpling recipe that look really good. I wrote it all down. I hope you guys do well in this storm. Stay safe. PS I never did get a Christmas card from you and Jessica. I sent you guys one with a gift inside the envelope. I hope you got yours Happy New Year❤🎉
We are in the same line. Last to get it. I started preps early even laundry . I thought we would get it last night so. I left the dishes for today. 😊.. Our dog is not a fan of cold. He goes out to do his business and knocks quick to go back inside a.m. hours. 😊..walks on real windy cold days he shortens.😮. 😊. The state has been salting our main road? for the last two days. No snow or ice yet, back roads are rarely salted or any connector roads, side roads.
Wonderful talk DANNO!!! Winterized homes and cars are a necessity for winter EVERY winter. Unless you just lost everything or just started out in life you better not procrastinate. If you live your life like that let this be the last time you are ever at the mercy of the weather. Take care of yourself and mush!!!❤ I pray no power outages are too tough for anyone to survive. Going to be rough. Ryan Hall is an amazing human being period...he'll be live this morning 🎉🎉🎉
Sunday noon time. Frankfort KY . It has been snowing for 3 hrs. A inch per hour. Getting ready ready to make Beef Veg. Home made soup. 4 to 10 inch snow then 1 inch of sleet them 3/4 inch of ice Then Monday more snow and 35 mph winds. I am not planning to leave the house for 7 days. OH....PS. my big lots is closing. It was just built 2 years ago. everything 30% off. My Jeep is made to be 4X4 always. I can change it to 4X4 low or 4X4 high. Summer Time I pull front drive shaft. Fall I put it back in. My 6 month old PUP just saw his first snow. He is not a fan of it,
Won't be using the generator for the food. Will be below freezing all week. Some power outages already. Being a lineman would be tough job on a day like this.

The sunshine warms the air and that will bring in ICE, just like when it comes out between thunderstorms, it makes tornadoes more likely.
I watch Earth Master for a daily report on all things Earth-related, THEN I watch Ryan sometimes.
It is snowing and suppose to get freezing rain here in Southern Ill.
We are getting it in Indianapolis ,started around 9:30. It is really coming in fast

Danno, you need to buy some of the shelf stable milk to tuck away for days like this. 😉
Went shopping a few days ago , plenty of food. Medical and bathroom supplies ❤ . Teddy was rolling in the snow and loving it 😊

If there is ice,.no tires can handle that.😮
I’m in northern Illinois and the storm is supposed to miss us unless it tracks farther north, but 2 hours south of us is supposed to get a foot of snow. I got a notification on my phone from Meijer about the 7 for $7 deal. I haven’t checked the ad yet, but it’s supposed to run from 1/5-1/17, so people will still be able to take advantage of the sale after the storm.
Dan....You are always in the dollar tree you should have at least 2-4 quarts of the box milk put up or even powdered milk for emergencies.
Ryan Hall now has a 24/7 channel that gives all the watches and warnings. He said he might be live from noon to midnight eastern time on Sunday.
Our local weather is also on UA-cam. I get the full forecast in 4-5 minutes. It’s great.
If you lose power you may need to spend some time in your car. Prep your car. Stay safe.
Speaking of milk, my local Safeway really jacked the price up on their gallons of milk, went from $3.89 before New Years to $4.59 a gallon and that’s for Whole & 2% milk.
What ever happens we can't change it it's God's work just use common sense and don't panic God will take care of us all just have faith God bless all

He is not a fan of it,
WHIO says we are only getting 3-6 inches here in Miami county.
The storm is here in Kansas. Expecting up to 15 inches of snow and intermittent ice 😮😢
I hope that people who bought refrigerated food have a generator in case the power goes out. Stay safe and warm. God bless. 👍👍😃❤️🙏
Not an issue With the food when the temps are so cold. But I worry more about frozen pipes.
Won't be using the generator for the food. Will be below freezing all week.
Some power outages already. Being a lineman would be tough job on a day like this.
