These techniques allow users to conduct quick optimization studies, saving significant time while enhancing performance. The current trend in the #CAE world typically involves a sequence starting with CAD, followed by steps like meshing, model assembly, simulation, virtual validation, and maintenance. This process is often time-consuming, especially in the CAE phase.
However, with new trends like the #MeshWorks platform, advanced tools significantly reduce #CAD development time using rapid concept modules, parameterization, and morphing techniques. This enables rapid optimization and performance improvement while maintaining lower mass. DOE-based optimization further accelerates achieving better results.
MeshWorks also supports the detailed #VirtualValidation and maintenance phases, providing tools like assembly modules, AC parameter capabilities, and topology optimization to reduce turnaround time further. MeshWorks topology optimization can be applied at various levels-component, full vehicle, or assembly. For instance, at the component level, parameters like wall thickness or rib thickness can be adjusted to minimize the design, and existing features can be removed.
