Why You Barely Remember Yakkity Yak

- The early 2000's brought us a lot of cartoons that unfortunately didn't last too long, becoming a weird or obscure memory you hold on to for the rest of your life. That's the case here with Yakkity Yak, a show left forgotten by time only remembered by its theme song! So, here's why you barely remember Yakkity Yak!
- Розваги
What other obscure cartoons or shows can you barely remember but never forgot? (Also, I know the theme song is based off the original song by The Coasters, part of why this theme song is so memorable).
Jonny Quest and Thundarr the barbarian. Hardly anyone remembers these two. Well people who I talk to any how. 🤣
The Xs and the Buzz on Maggie.
The Xs is a work of irony considering it ended up becoming obscure, and the BOM had terrible execution but a good concept.
Dave the Barbarian and Brandy & Mr. Whiskers
Mucha Lucha
Angela Anaconda. As a kid, I thought it was creepy.
This show seems like it only exists because Nickelodeon got the licensing rights to The Coasters song Yakkety Yak and built an entire show solely around that....
That's probably what happened and frankly, I'd rather have that than Baby Shark.
Nickelodeon actually didn't create this show, it was a French Canadian product they picked up for afternoon showings
@@daniverse9625 That was Canadian Australian.
@@DerekMcDouglas Yeah whoops, I don't know why but the few sources I've found regarding it list it as French / Canadian
I heard the song playing at mechanic as a kid looked everywhere for the TV 🤣
Does anyone remember the Disney channel show The Buzz on Maggie? She was a preteen house fly and she had a ton of baby siblings that were little maggots?
Im strangeee and I like iiitttt just the way I aaammm
@@princessbee7072 YES! One of the most underrated theme songs of my childhood, it went so hard😭
Yes I used to watch it a lot!!
You've brought the image of her face to the front of my mind. Out of the depths
I remember this.
I remember my grandfather seeing the commerical advertising yakkity yak and him dying laughing and singing the song for the rest of the week, because he thought it was ridiculous
It was actually a song from 1959 as well, by The Coasters
That is... So accurate to what I felt
We're can I see it
May your grandfather rest in peace
The title is spot on. I did just barely remember this and my memories came flooding back. Great piece of content.
haha Thank you so much for watching! :D
@@JordanFringe94 I too feel very sorry that this Australian Nicktoon is lost.
Yakkity Yak’s theme song has always lived in my head rent free, getting randomly stuck in my head at the weirdest times 😂
TRUE
Good to know its not just me 😂
YAKKITY YAK🎶
(Any one who has the same issue will definitely read that as the end of the theme song)😂
@@Puffcroc ... Yep it definely works 😂
Pretty sure the song existed before the show
@@perciusmandate yeah the song has been around since 1959. I would bet most people who “remember” this show have heard clips from the actual song by the coasters and not this show.
yakkity yak is where i first learned the word "plethora"; never let anyone tell you that cartoons are bad for you
The show left my memory, how ever the pineapple boy never left my mind. He's been living there rent free since the show first aired.
I used to call him Spongebob’s house
Fun fact: the theme song was actually written by The Coasters in 1959. I remember this from reading _The Watsons Go to Birmingham_ in the seventh grade, because it's Kenny's favorite song. I used it in a project where I had to create a soundtrack for a hypothetical movie adaptation.
I don't know if it's because of the show or because the teacher played it in class, but I nicknamed my friend, Zak "Yakitty Yak." Him not liking the name made it really funny.
Edit: Someone beat me to it! Ah well...
Yup! Such a cool way to integrate an incredible classic song! lol poor Zak haha
i read that book the SAME TIME this show was on television and man was it a confusing mess because of that
I know this song because my parents were born in the 50s lol.
I was pretty entertain by this story so thanks for sharing.
I read the book too and when I listened to the theme song of the show, I was like "wait a minute, this is familiar"
I've realized it's not the theme song to this show in my head, it's the classic yakety yak song by the coasters that's always stuck with me. I don't think I've ever seen this show
I actually remember this show. I even remember there was an episode where Yakkity was hypnotized into acting like an actual yak, or something. It was really bizarre. Cool theme song though.
Yakkity would get along great with Luan.
I remember not liking it and thinking the theme song was annoying. I loved My life as a teenage robot. That show didn't deserve to be cancelled.
I couldn’t get enough of my life as a teenage robot. I really dug that old school 50s era animation
The downfall of that show was how long it took to produce episodes. Plus the fact nickelodeon held back for a few years before airing the final season on nicktoons network in the 2am time slot
Yeah. I loved Chalk Zone and My Life as a Teenage Robot. Can't believe they were canceled.
Yeah I thought Yakkity was one of the most annoying cartoon characters that ever existed. The show didn’t have many likeable characters or memorable episodes..
@@Chicken_Wing91 the Australian Nicktoon here wants pickup.
Does anyone else remember a cartoon called Corneil and Bernie? I think I remember watching it on Nicktoons. It’s another one of those cartoons where the only thing you remember is that it existed, but barely.
I liked Coernial and Bernie. It was cool
Definitely one of the best theme songs ever
I liked that show a lot. Wish they'd toned Bernie down a little, but it was a French show, so maybe they saw him as less obnoxious there.
I also recommend watching Kaput and Zosky, another obscure dubbed French Nicktoon that hardly anyone remembers.
That's the exact show that popped up in my head when he was wrapping up the video. There's such vague memories and stuff I remembered wrong about the show. Like, I remember a scene from an episode where the dog was forced (or willingly?) slept outside in the cold while the dude stayed inside. I think there were chickens involved? Idk the show will pop into my head at least once a month.
I remember that! Was one of my favorite Nicktoons Network shows.
Man Code Lyoko brings me way back. I'm talking 3rd grade elementary.
I miss the nicktoons channel. It was the only channel on the extended cable that was worth it as a kids. Then they got rid of it when i was old enough for my own cable
They did? It's still a thing here, but it only shows like 3 shows.
@Burger Boy Plus it's SD only and Nick HD doesn't even show cartoons anymore.
Invader zim, corneil & berney, angry beavers.. good times
Excuse me? ONLY channel that was worth it? 0_0 YOU DARE INSULT QUBO LIKE THAT! I will not tolerate Qubo slander
-sorry, if you don't know what Qubo is-
bro, GAS tho. They were literally right next to each other, so if nothing on the 1, you just flick to the other haha.
In twenty years I’m going to be like “Did I watch a UA-cam video 20 years ago about an obscure show that came out 40 years ago? Something about a yak??”
Nigga why would you think that then??????
And a song that came out over 90 years ago.
i remember this fever dream of a show , never watching this show on acid again
What’s with UA-cam recommending videos about all the obscure cartoons I watched as a kid? 😭
The Weekenders 😭😭😭 really unlocked a memory for me
Loved the weekenders, one of my favorites.
The episodes are on UA-cam
Thank you so much, I've been tryna remember the name of this show for over 6 months
Weekenders was such a go-to for me growing up that I don't even barely remember it, I concretely remember it.
I love that show!
i unironically got EXCITED to see this show on air. i was a whole different kid.
To be fair, so did I. I enjoyed and still enjoy its character designs and slightly Jay Ward-ish aesthetic!
God I had completely forgotten about this show, along with Kaput & Zosky. And for those of you who really wanna go back Mike, Lu & Og
Mike lu and og is a THROWBACK. Nobody else I ever knew remembered that show at all. I was still very young when it was on tv so I dont remember that many episodes. But I remember the theme song very vividly
@@Oboromaru Mike lu and og... ugh, the ONLY thing I remember from that show was just HOW much I hated it. . . I found it INCREDIBLY boring... apart from that, I don't even REMEMBER ANYTHING from this show... not even the theme. although, I CAN at the very least say that I THINK it aired at a time when there wasn't a whole lot of good cartoons on at the time.
I actually have some very embittering memory's of this era.
@@Oboromaru I loved this show so much. I think it got canceled before they got rescued.
Now tell me what happened to the cartoon Cat Scratch? 😂😂😂😂
Weird fact about that show: it was based on a comic about animals using mechs to fight wars
I think Nick got impatient because it didn't immediately become the next big thing, but it was a damn good show and is a gem IMO.
I remember getting so exciting as a kid when cat scratch came on. Then it just fucking disappeared I was heart broken
_OH HUMAN KIMBERLY_
@@jorymo4964 There was also Pelswick which was about a kid in wheelchair that was created by a quadriplegic who was crippled in a drunk driving accident and basically drew cartoons as therapy! They even made a movie about it him called "He Won't Get Far on Foot"
I'm convinced this show only happened because the Coasters song from 1958 went public domain and they didn't have to pay anybody for a theme.
Nicktoons was actually my favorite channel as a kid, rivaled only by Cartoon Network. I really liked the different, more offbeat stuff they played there and that's definitely stayed true to my tastes today.
Ahhh! Real Monsters!, Angry Beavers, Butt Ugly Martians, Ren & Stimpy, ESPECIALLY INVADER ZIM, Chalk Zone, all my favorites
Angry Beavers is GOOD stuff that still holds up!
B.U.M. sucked though. (was that acronym intentional?)
@@Skunginoggin345 it may have but as a kid I was like "huhuh butt ugly," I haven't seen it since but it's still got a sweet spot in my nostalgic memory
Everyone loves Invader Zim ^u^ I think for Nickelodeon, my favorite shows were CatDog and Doug tho. Invader Zim is definitely one of my favorites! Angry Beavers was adorable btw, that too! (Compared to most Nicktoons, Angry beavers seemed much more family friendly).
My childhood was mostly all cartoons, but my favorite channel as a kid was the Qubo channel. If you didn't have the Qubo channel as a kid, I am so so sorry! As awesome as the Nickelodeon cartoons were, nothing stuck out to me more than shows like Marvin the Tap-dancing Horse, Gofrette, and Scaredy Squirrel.
Nick and CN glory days were over by 2002 or so. by that time, watching GAS and nicktoons was the real move.
Did anyone remember Kappa Mikey?? the theme was sick! HEY HEY LOOK LOOK OUT IN THE STREETS!
I never watched enough Kappa Mikey while it was on!
I haven’t given this show an ounce of thought since whenever I watched it last, thanks for digging up a loooong forgotten memory
Yakkity Yak really fits in that weird Nicktoons Network corner of shows along with Kappa Mikey, Corneil & Bernie, Kaput and Zosky, The Secret Show, and Three Delivery.
The secret show 😭
An interesting note about Corneil & Bernie: Even though it originally aired and ended in the 00s, they were actually renewed for a second season, which aired around 2014. The bad news was that they *seriously* cut corners going from traditional frame-by-frame, to being Flash animated. It was surprisingly faithful in style and tone, but a lot of the charm was lost in its animation.
If you're ever looking for a nostalgia trip, or curious about the new episodes, both seasons have been officially uploaded to UA-cam for free viewing.
I've remembered Kaput and Zosky's character designs much more strongly than even their names!
Not sure if it's that obscure but another show that comes to mind is The Secret Show don't remember if it played anywhere outside of Nicktoons
I remember the episode about everyone getting sick except for the vegetarians, which is when we find out the main male character is one? And Changed Daily!
"Don't Talk Back"
That episode intro is how I remember the show.
I’VE BEEN TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHERE THE MEMORIES OF THAT PINEAPPLE THING CAME FROM FOR YEARS
I was so excited singing the song when it came up on wandavision but I could not remember a single detail about the show. That memory is DEEP
Might as well throw in a comment about an obscure mid-2000's cartoon I remember but seemingly nobody else did: Pecola! It was on playing on Cartoon Network in like '04, and I remember it came on early in the morning right after Adult Swim ended. It was a 3d animated show where the main character is a penguin, and everyone had cube-shaped heads. I loved watching it before I got ready for school, but it was taken off the air rather quickly from what I remember.
Edit to add bc I actually want to add two more: Zatch Bell, and Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo. Both were on Cartoon Network around '05-'06. Me and my sister loved them, none of our friends watched either though. Those shows were a trip
I kinda like the UPA style it has in the theme opening too. Like it would have been cool if they kept that in the rest of the show? They had the opportunity to make like a really classic style cartoon show.
I know, right?
Yakkity yak
My dad the rockstar
El tigre
Corneil and Bernie
Obscure Gang WYA??
2 more for u. Mike lou and og,
Pelswick
Kappa Mikey
Marvin Mystery, anyone?
@@Xnaut314 my man. That show was amazing but not a single one of my friends saw it
What was the name of the show about inner city kids?? I think it had something to do with stoops??? I dont know, im drawing blanks, but have a memory of it somehow
There is Three Delivery. 3 teens try to recover recipes from a magic cookbook to save Chinatown from the bad guy. I believe it debuted on Nicktoons network, where things went to die.
I died when I heard "I like chocolate milk" after all that cheese talk. Omg I'm having trouble breathing. And I saw a few episodes when I was like 6 or 7 and it was on late enough I was so convinced it was an actual fever dream. Another show that makes me feel this way was tripping the rift but on sci-fi.
I remember this show, it was liked by students in my school only because of how weird and bizarre it was. That alone is what made people like it. I do remember watching some episodes and it was like a fever dream but unlike anything else on Nick by its premise.
I was convinced that Butt Ugly Martians was just a fever dream. Unfortunately it was real.
Nobody i know remembers Butt Ugly Martians lmao I was starting to think I made it up myself
Oh I remember that one vividly. Mostly because of the theme song and because the characters looks really weird. I also vaguely remember a fast food restaurant back in '01-'02 that had the toys for it in the kids meals. I'm thinking it was Burger King but I'm unsure
@@Oboromaru bro you just unlocked a memory for me. I'm also getting vague flashbacks of the Burger King toys. My local dollar store had figures of them as well but I only had 1
I remember waiting for that to go off the air, I thought it was the worst. My parents for some reason got me a Butt Ugly Martians skateboard. My disappointment was immeasurable.
I had the video game. It was a birthday gift when I was ten. I had never even watched the show before.
Whenever I’d bring this show up everyone would look at me like I was crazy
I remember watching Yakkity Yak. I don't really remember the plot lol
Please do a Chalkzone episode. That show is so freaking underrated
Plan too soon 😄
is it underrated tho lol? Pretty much every kid I knew watched that lol
You should cover Corneil and Bernie. It was another obscure show on nicktoons around the same time.
Funny enough, that's on my future barely remember list! haha
If these are obscure then that confirms my ocd cause i can remember the theme song to every one of these shows verbatim...
Also are we just talking 2000's-2010? I feel like a lot of the 90s ones i could name are obscure purely for being made in the 90's (i.e. SuperTed or More Than Words)
I actually bought a DVD of Corneil & Bernie at the dollar store once.
Jordan Fringe delivering quality content like usual!
😄❤️
Chalk Zone was the ish though lol.. Rudy got the chalk
Classic show!
And the online games that came from it
I don't even vaguely remember this show. And my first thought when I heard the voice acting was "thank God I'm only gonna hear this for a couple minutes." Even though I don't care about this show, I really liked learning a little bit about it from you, Jordan. Great video, as always!
Thanks so much as always Jacob! I truly appreciate the support!
That robot girl unlocked a deep memory of this show
Jenny from My life as a Teenage robot
@@wateasa I meant the robot girl in Yakkity Yak. My life as a teenage robot absolutely slapped though
Same. That probably dates back to '05/'06.
I actually remember this show so much along side like My dad the rockstar. That whole weird era of these random cartoons they didn’t really send off on much after a season or 2 are actual gems and actually bring some cozy memories as a kid! Nice video! Definitely subbed!!
✨core memory unlocked✨
Do you remember The Replacements? I didn’t sleep so I could watch it really late
I really didn't even know Yakkity Yak, existed until like last year or sometime in (2019)
It's been a long time, old friend. The theme song was the most memorable thing about the show- that, and his pelt was really a parka that he could just take off at any given time.
I watched this series on Teletoon during the early 00's. I'd forgotten about this until seeing your thumbnail and was also reminded of a series by Mucha Lucha that also aired around the same time. This one had a school full of luchadores where each student did their own transformation during the fights. 00's animation was such a different time.
As a latinamerican there are two things i remember about this show: the theme song and how this was basically our Teen Titans GO around that age on Nickelodeon. I don't know anyone who watched it, but it sure had a lot of timeslots filled in for some reason.
Aquí otro latino q recuerda esta serie y luego quedó olvidada por siempre
I vaguely remember the theme song of this show one day, literally one day after school and nothing else.
HOW!? Lmao 😂
I remember it mostly for the time when it aired on Nicktoons this, My Dad the Rockstar, and Kappa Mikey all bring back alot of memories.
I think about this show all the time. I love the imported cartoons that were on the air in the early 2000’s. So much interesting diversity in the lineup back in the day, I miss those days. Things were worth watching and you never knew what you were going to get next
A show I remember that a ton of people seem to not remember is that one where san alligator and a duck live in the city together but ducks think alligators are scary and alligators think ducks are food so they have to hide their friendship or like.. hide the fact that he’s an alligator? For some reason I LOVED that show
I loved it too! It was Sitting Ducks!
Sitting Ducks?
Yep I remember this one too, I loved it
Sitting ducks i own that show on dvd
"Sitting Ducks." I remember catching that on the now-defunct Qubo.
I both have vivid memories of watching this, and also don't remember it at all. There really are so manny abandoned TV shows from my childhood and just in general, Very interesting, Awesome critique !!!
There are a lot of shows that are forgotten
i definitely remember the theme song after stumbling upon it on youtube years ago after wanting to see the short from tiny toon adventures.
as for super obscure shows, Edgar and Ellen, Making Fiends, Secret Spy Show, Three Delivery, and World of Quest
My greatest memory of this show is constantly checking Nicktoons (where underperforming shows were banished to) to see if Invader Zim was on, only to end up disappointed when every time block was filled with Yakkity Yak.
"Take out the papers and the trash." - Vision in the hex
Absolutely love your content! Would love to see you tackle the show ReBoot one day. It's one of the few cartoons that sticks with me to this day. The animation for the time was just so different.
Thanks so much! I will for sure look into a video for it down the road as bit :D
I remember seeing Moose-A-Moose on Noggin and asking myself, wasn’t there a cartoon of this character? I completely forgot about Yakity Yak
Just recently found your channel, been binging all your videos. Takes me back to the good ole days 🥲
Truly appreciate that kind of support, thank you so much! :D
Im watching this video and I swear I remember every side character and still can't remember yakity besides his voice which I can't put my finger on.
Do Corneil and Bernie next, also on nicktoons with Kappa Mikey, I vaguely remember something called little freaks and some alien cartoon
I remember seeing it as a kid around 2003 and I never forgot that theme song
Yessss Thank you for this Video!! Not many people or UA-camrs talk about Yakkity Yak! It was one of those weird Cartoons that I've never forgotten about 💛❤👊🏾👊🏾
Haha thanks for watching! 😄
@@JordanFringe94 👊🏾👊🏾😁
"Why you barely remember Yakkity Yak"
Because I would always change the channel? Lol
I literally never watched a single episode of this series. I only had it on long enough to listen to the opening before switching over to something else.
It's kind of crazy to think I used to watch re-runs of this show on Nicktoons nearly every morning before school for about a year or so and yet it only had 26 episodes.
Wow, I had mixed the memories of this with Sherlock Yack. Who knew the yak-based cartoon was such a thriving market?
i remember watching this show wondering why it was made because even back then i felt like there was no passion or anything there
I remember watching this after school as a kid and it semi-regularly pops back into my head every now and then, mostly because of the theme song
Nicktoons in 2004 was basically like watching 90's Nickelodeon. Except for the three imported Nicktoons that started in other countries. Kaput and Zosky, Corneil and Bernie, and Yakkity Yak.
Of these three, Kaput and Zosky was best. I wasn't crazy about Yakkity Yak. My friend told me he hated it when we went to school and I brought it up. It wasn't a great show, it was a little goofy for my taste. I actually remember the show pretty well, and could reference a few gags on the show.
Despite it's lackluster ranking in my head, the worst show on Nicktoons TV in 2004 would still kick the ass of most shows they put on today.
I do remember this show a little. In a way it kind of reminded me of Catscratch, except I liked Catscratch better.
Good ol catscratch haha will cover that eventually
Here are some pretty obscure shows for you to look at if you want
Ricky sprocket
Zeke’s pad
Carl square
Monster buster club
6teen
Robot boy
Clang invasion
Add to this the animation studio of 6teen also made a show called Stoked.
@@GcorpCoPrez yah I was gonna add that, I recently watched it on UA-cam after re watching 6teen
Would come home everyday and watch this after school. Hit the nostalgia button hard today
I completely forgot about this show lol. Have to say it again brother I’m stoked you’re doing this again!!
I remember a few shows that my sisters have no memory of. Growing Up Creepie, Grossology, Maggie and the Ferocious Beast, Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi, Dave the Barbarian, Catscratch, Martin Mystery, My Gym Partner's a Monkey, Lloyd in Space, The Life and Times of Juniper Lee, Mucha Lucha, Tutenstein, Jojo's Circus, Brandy and Mr. Whiskers, Rocket Power and My Dad's a Rockstar. Any time I tried to talk to them about any of these cartoons they just look at me with a blank face. They really have no memory of any of these shows even though I remember watching these with them.
Funnily enough, Yakity Yak is probably the only show out of all of these I don't remember at all (well, and Martin Mystery)
I remembered watching Yakkity Yak as a kid I liked the characters and animation but I’m sad it only had one season
I remember coming home from school to watch this on Nickelodeon in like 2003 when it first came out when I was a kid. I also remember one of my teachers telling us before going to lunch not to talk in the halls making all that yakkity yak and me and my friend who watched the show just looked at each other and laughed
If you remind me of Yakkity Yak, then I have to say "Don't hold back." I feel it's a must.
Side note: I always thought it was that way instead of "Don't talk back."
All I remembered of Yakety Yak prior to watching the video is seeing this in a dentist's office and a faint echo of the theme song. That was literally it. There was nothing TO remember, though, it seems.
I saw that pineapple-headed character and vaguely remember an episode where you think his head gets split open, but it’s just a regular pineapple. Traumatized me as a kid
this show holds a special place in my heart i remember about it more than once a month
When I saw the pineapple character I had a flood of memories come in
I remember watching Yakkity Yak on Nickelodeon when it was airing there which is why I never bothered to revisit it, my memory of it is the killer theme song & this dream I had one time when I was in middle school where I ran into Mr. Highpants in a dark alleyway so yeah, I just never wanted to go back & rewatch this one, remembering it exists is good enough for me.
As for shows that did make its way over to Nick that are obscure & people should actually go back & re-watch or watch for the first time, I highly recommend Pelswick. It was a show I did watch when it was new to Nickelodeon but it was always my there's nothing good on so I'll watch this series. As a kid, I didn't hate or love it, it was just there & was fine for a watch but holy cow, it's a totally different story watching again as an adult because you actually get the stuff in this series. It says a lot of stuff that I wish people weren't too afraid to say. I always tell people to watch the episode Draw, that's a good example of what you can expect from this series. Pelswick is a hidden gem that I wish people would talk about more.
Totally dig deep back into those obscure shows, I'd totally love to hear more people talk about My Dad the Rock Star or Corneil & Bernie because nobody touches on those series it feels like. Maybe it's just me who wants to hear people talk about more obscure shows from the early to mid 2000's but I'm super happy to see someone talk about Yakkity Yak because it hit huge within the kids at my school at least & then fell off the face of the planet, it's like with Teacher's Pet, super popular show when it was running but now most people forgot it exists.
Never heard of Yakkity Yak but the intro to this video brought forth the repressed/forgotten memory of Chalk Zone. I remember watching at least a couple episodes of it.
Not sure what was a bigger nostalgic sling shot
Remembering yakkity yak or remembering where that one sonic clip was from
YES! Oh my gosh, this was the show! I remember turning the tv on at a friend's house, and a scene where the robot was crying into a pillow leaked battery acid through the floor. I had no idea what the show was all these years! Thank you so much!
I still love this show and I still watch it sometimes. I was obsessed with this show as a kid and I had a crush on Yakkity.
I loved My Dad is a Rockstar. The main character was literally a cartoon version of my crush
I know this came before but I cant un-see Kio/Pinapple head guy definately wearing an Akatsuki cloak underneath that shirt.
I watched one eps of this but never more. Your comment about respecting the main character's main motivation for being unique shook loose my memory that My Gyn Partner's a Monkey was a thing and I loved that from what these old memories say. Definitely haven't thought about that in years
2006, I’m 16 now. I grew up watching nothing but cartoons but I realize I grew up during the end of things good for kids' media. Because not shortly after things like Teen Titans Go came out, beloved cartons getting shameless reboots. So I’d go on to watch channels Nicktoons, Boomerang, 4Kids?, Jetix, Disney Channel/ XD, and Family Channel, where all the good stuff was as the main channels were slowly but surely being taken over by the drop quality of shows. Though Nicktoons would be the place I saw Yakkity, I had to be 7 or 6.
I only have a still image in my head of him talking to the pineapple. Nothing else, just that still quick image. I’ve recently rediscovered it and love it! The voices, writing, or anything negative for that matter, I don’t recognize. So I enjoy seeing what people whoever were consious during those times and watched it, thought I’d the show. Makes me a little envious of the golden age y’all got to experience better than I did.
But Hey, it’s better than what we have today. Thank you for reading this long jumble of words.
You nailed it. I barely remember this cartoon, although the setting and characters feel incredibly familiar. It also makes me feel nostalgic. Not for the show itself, but the early 2000s, when there were dozens of new cartoons competing against each other and most were at the very least somewhat entertaining.
Now, remember Yvon of the Yukon? That one was unpleasant to watch and it came out around the same time, I believe.
I wonder if he will review a show from YTV in the future.
I remember the song more than the show, it randomly pops up in my mind tp this day
Theres nothing "barely" about this show at all. I LOVED this show and I watched it all the time!! I feel bad for anyone who doesn't have more memories of the show.
I randomly remembered this show out of no where and looked it up and got here lol
