it would be great if future videos from metro board would only feature riders wearing helmets. i think its important for the makers of electric skateboards to help change the perception that helmets are not cool. helmets ARE cool, brain damage is not cool.

Do a model with a kick tail. Like an old school Santa Cruz / Powell Peralta deck (with cool deck designs and clear grip?) would get me to buy. Makes it so much easier to get up footpaths from the road with a little lean back on the kicktail to guarantee no jamming flying forward off ya board. And for all types of bumps that suddenly appear on your daily commute. Also to ollie on not that I would do that as good chance of ruining motor but wouldnt be cool to do tricks on an electric skateboard like a regualar board. Ok the wieght would limit the tricks. I think you would get more market than the typical electric skateboard nerd. Only downhill skaters dont like kicktails and they dont need electric skateboards. Yea one for old school skaters and one for regualr school skaters would rock for you. Especially the regualr as thats a big market. At the moment I reckon all you electric skateboard companies are selling to folk who never really skated. But I do also need and am waiting patiently for a 30 mph + board.

Hey Metroboard, your website says that the top speed for the 29" Micro Slim is 20 mph, but the video states that its 24 mph. Could you change one or the other so confusion doesn't ensue? Thanks :)
Thanks for letting us know. Ok it's been updated on the site. Actually our default top speed on the Micro is 20 mph, but upon customer request, we can build with our faster 24 mph motors. However, this is only recommended for advanced riders who can handle the speed on a smaller board.
How much more would that upgrade be?

Thanks, one last thing, since every e-board that you guys are selling has the motor upgrade, would it be possible to get the 24mph motor installed on the 33", 36", and 32" shortboard?

It's got a 36V 4.4AH battery (158 Watt-hours). Some airlines will not allow more than 100 Watt-hours, but some will allow up to 160 Watt-hours.
