I have the Salient Arms Strike One Tier One and it is my Favorite pistol in my collection, it is by far the Flattest, Fastest Tracking, Accurate and most Reliable pistol I have ever seen or shot.
Enjoyed the video/info. I bought a used one in 2019 and it came with the extra 12 inch barrel and the factory carbine chassis/brace rig. Also the mag catch is reversible. I am a lefty ,so I like that option.
I'm impressed! You guys were back on target instantly. I had checked out an Arsenal in a local store, but I lost interest when I pulled the trigger. What did you think of the trigger on yours?
It's not bad, but no Walther. This was intended as a duty gun and so has a duty trigger. The reset is rather soft so it requires almost a pull and release method of shooting.
Interesting the one I had about six years ago in Canada was a great shooter as well as long as you only shot ball/round nose it would NOT shoot anything else I think a design flaw with half the feed ramp on the barrel and half on the frame the couple of thousands clearance between the two would cause anything other than round nose to bite into it and jam nice to see one work
I hadn't heard of those issues. If any of the rounds we tested would have been similar it would be the American Gunner. Was it the same problem with all mags?
@@GBGuns yes I even tried course polish with a dremel to smooth it out but I think it needed a milling machine that unfortunately I did not own at the time, traded it for a CZ Shadow and still got a good buck because they were new and hot at the time
What did you think about the trigger? I've heard some people say that the reset was long and kind of hard to find, and caused people to miss it when firing quickly.
When he says suicide sights, he's referring to the fact that the pistol sights have dots on the front. Those could only be useful if you were pointing the pistol at yourself.

I have the Archon Type B and it is my Second Favorite gun and I have quite a few Custom 1911's
I've had a Strike One for 3 years now. Sad they stopped making them but I'm glad I have one. Still looking forward to get a new Archon B

Love these guns! Wish they weren’t so difficult to come by for so long
I love that low bore axis.
I love saying "Streege" too LoL!
PLEASE make a video head to head with the Archon Type B!!
We have, it'll be out soon.
@@GBGuns is it?
@@selcukonce2314 yup. Sorry I'm on my phone or I would post a link
@@GBGuns found it immediately :) thank you. Regardless, it’s a privilege to own both and I do :)
@@selcukonce2314 It is indeed, both excellent guns, but not twins. What did you think of the comparison? What's your opinion of one over the other?

I like Teya’s shirt. Very cool.
More Teya! Easy on the eyes and a great shot = the total package!
@@kingschultz3770 thank you
That is one of my new favorite shirts I've aquired of late.

Great review! I have both guns and I am curious to see how you feel the Strike One and the Archon compare. I love both guns.
That's a fun video we created some tests to highlight the differences.
@@GBGuns Can not wait! Keep up the great work!
I really like the archon and can shoot it well. Waiting for how they compare Graham.
@@robert5117 We'll publish that video tomorrow.
Nice review!
$600 USD in Canada
That is a sweet pistol.
Out of the two I would take the Salient Arms Strike One Tier One all day
Sweet ...

I think that's a personal preference/skill level thing. It's not my favorite but didn't cause any issues.
Which front sight is compatible?
1:58 That's what many women says.
Help me out because I don't know,, what are suicide sights? Thanks for the vid, I always enjoy them.
When he says suicide sights, he's referring to the fact that the pistol sights have dots on the front. Those could only be useful if you were pointing the pistol at yourself.
And said in complete sarcasm!
Yaya people, don't ever actually point a firearm at yourself.
@@Locke99GS thank you for your reply, I didn't think for a second that the term was literal, just wondered what sight pattern was been referred to.
If only it was all steel...
