I cut the pipe off of the muffler so that I could atill connect it to the mid pipe using the stoxk ball and socket clamp. the pipe I used that sticks out the back was just big enough to fit the stock piece inside of it. so its basically the same size maybe .25" larger.
this is beautiful!! I'm going to do this to my Saab 9-3. Out of curiosity how big was the pipe you installed? Did you leave it stock size or did you go bigger or smaller?
Great sound! Might consider it as well if it is not too loud
