    your opinion on fat/carbs amounts in same meal. Moderate fat and carbs in each meal? Avoid High carbs and fats in same meal? Or, for workout days, go high carb/low fat and off-days go high fat/low carb to cycle the macros? For purposes of staying lean when getting in the calories.

    • @christuttle6487
      @christuttle6487 5 років тому

      At the end of the day it is about calorie balance. Do not look too far into it. For the most part is not going to make a huge difference and only in extremes it does. However if you are doing high fat and high carb that is not good of course. Personally, I always do and have had fat in every meal. Even with ones with a decent amount of carbs. Normally for me 10-15g fat per meal added.

    • @julianerbil
      @julianerbil 5 років тому +2

      Chris has another video with Foud (spell check) talking about as you increase calories, you increase fiber, too much vegetable/starchy fiber can actually be an irritant / make you bloated. apparently if you have too much over time. He suggests a combo of vegetable + fruit fiber bc they work together. But he only suggests 25g of fiber / day or so.

    Spinach, potatoes, brown rice, whole grain bread, nuts etc.. All of them so high in oxalates. So much people have joint pain, inflammation, kidney stones, chronic fatigue etc. due to "healthy" diet full of oxalates and don't know it.. At least eat broccoli instead of spinach. Spinach is king of oxalates. It is so high in oxalates that it is not even funny..

    • @christuttle6487
      @christuttle6487 5 років тому +1

      yes very true but most people do not have problems handling a diet higher oxalates. TONS of people complain about gas and bloating with consuming broccoli.

    • @jirihutecka9020
      @jirihutecka9020 5 років тому +1

      @@christuttle6487 ok so green beans or something like that is much better. I don't see any benefit from spinach. It is high in minerals, but they are not available to our body due to high oxalate content... Just eat some chlorella/spirulina for "green stuff" that is much better choice..

    • @christuttle6487
      @christuttle6487 5 років тому +1

      @@jirihutecka9020 Not true. Fresh spinach cooked is VERY absorb-able, easier to eat and digest than raw, and contains more micros than green beans. Of course if you like green beans more then eat green beans.

      @Chris & Alexia Tuttle "I checked with the USA Rice Federation, the trade association for rice farmers, millers, and merchants. The bottom line from that group is that if you use US-produced rice, no matter which type (brown, white, wild or the various varieties that come in both white and brown such as basmati, jasmine, sushi or “regular” short, medium and long grained), you do not need to wash the rice before cooking it. For enriched white rice, washing may even wash away nutrients that are added when the rice is processed." - motherwouldknow.com/rice-is-nice-and-you-can-cook-it-unwashed-too-maybe-html/ - excellent video love it, just wanted to share the part specifically on USA rice 👍🏽

    • @christuttle6487
      @christuttle6487 5 років тому +2

      @@supercenturion7531 That is good info to know. Thanks! I rinse it because I think it cooks better and does not stick together as much. As far as nutrients go, I am not after nutrients in rice since there is so little to begin with. Just a straight energy source that is easily digestible.
