- Synopsis: Cobra continues to make moves on the geopolitical front as General Hawk, Duke and the rest of the new Joes try to keep up. The small special mission force is spread thin operating around the world in an effort to hunt for the snakes.
YOOOOO JOOOOOE! Welcome back to my GI Joe Classified series!
I’d like to send an extra, extra special thanks to Corneilus McGillicuddy, a subscriber of mine that offered to take some photos of a very special landmark related to old school GI Joe lore and send them to me to use in videos. The man sent me more pics than I knew what to do with, out of the goodness of his heart (In freezing cold weather BTW, LOL)!

First of all sorry for taking so long to chime in. That shit was dope. The jungle diorama was really lookin' like a jungle with ruins in it. I really like how Destro rolled up in that custom Batmobile.
I loved the way you incorporated the pictures. I was a little worried that the pictures of the Battery Weed, (a.k.a. Fort Wadsworth,) were too dark and it was too far, but they came out just fine.
The R.B. and Croc Master fight was 🔥. Where did you your crocs from? I have a salt water croc that I got from Michael's and an alligator that I picked up from a local toy store.
Spirit with the "I'll you back line," was funny as fuck.
I have a some of questions.
What happened in the seven months since Operation Arrowhead? Gen. Hawk implied that the JOEs have been taking a gang of "L's."
What was the mission the mission C.C. had Major Bludd, Zartan, Firefly, and Croc Master go on?
Why wasn't G.H. deployed to Sierra Gordo?
Will you still use your customs when the official versions come out?
Why do the JOEs look like they're still moving into the Pitt? 😆

No worries my guy, I'm glad you enjoyed it! On to your comments and Q's! Thanks again for the photos, I love establishing shots and those pics were perfect for that! My crocs/gators are from Hobby Lobby. They are a bit small, especially for crocodiles so I'll be happy to get some bigger ones soon along with the big one that comes with the official Croc Master. For Spirit, I definitely want him to have dry deadpan humor, like he says funny stuff but not even on purpose all the time, lol!
What happened in the seven months since Operation Arrowhead? Gen. Hawk implied that the JOEs have been taking a gang of "L's." - I will probably do some flashback stories or at least fill some of those plot threads in sometime later, but yeah I want cobra to seem like an organization that is so embedded and secretive that they are damn near impossible to really stop. I want the Joe's to be on their toes at all times, because they as good as they are, Cobra is something else entirely.
What was the mission the mission C.C. had Major Bludd, Zartan, Firefly, and Croc Master go on? - For this one I didn't really have a mission that they were all going on together. It was just foreshadowing the coming of these off the wall contractors and specialists. And here we saw how CoCo is using Zartan and Croc Master.
Why wasn't G.H. deployed to Sierra Gordo? - Well I wanted to showcase Roadblock vs Croc Master so having another strong guy on the LRRP team seemed like too much? Not to worry though, Gung Ho will definitely be in the next one, I realized that I have kind of neglected him so far... (Scarlett and Baroness too... Female voice actors are really hard to find, sadly...)
Will you still use your customs when the official versions come out? - Excellent Question! I really like my Croc Master custom. I made him before Hasbro even announced theirs because I fell in love with the character after watching GI Joburg's videos with him and then looking up the character. I literally was unaware of him until maybe a year or 2 ago! Somehow I missed him when I was a kid. As far as Stalker goes, I wanted the Joes in the Klondike to be in winter gear (hence Sarge's heavy coat, LOL) but I am anxiously looking forward to Stalker. I'm torn about Spirit.. Mine looks great but there are a few flaws (his arms are a tad too long, and the paint rubs on his sleeves) but I really like it still and he is unmistakably Spirit. The Sci Fi custom looked pretty good on camera too, I'm betting an official version of him will come sooner rather than later. So, I guess the answer is yes/no/maybe... LOL!
Why do the JOEs look like they're still moving into the Pitt? 😆 - I'm still figuring out how I want to depict their base, so for now its a bit bare bones.

😂, yes I was one that was prowling the Targets hunting figs back when these guys were released... Looking back on it some of us Joe fiends were absolutely going way far out of rational behavior. Myself included... It was a crazy time, I'm not so crazy with trying to get stuff first and hunt and all that. I have way more figs than I really need, so while I still buy them I'm not all desperate like before... Thanks for watching!

Yeah it kind of just happened when I was writing the script because of the similar context so I just went with it! 😂, Glad people picked up on it!

the inclusion of those outside characters is key to suspend disbelief here,
aw that Zartan voice effect, nice touch.
the outside set like a dio is candy and sets a 'thunderbird' nostalgia wave here.
it also suggests that most people can get same results at home with a little trouble.
I like the real cut scenes, as it feels like watching a James Bond movie at times.
it s pro to set locations for the audience, also like cartoons.
the HQ is convincing enough, but I d invest more as this set should come up often over time.
it s like a main set, as a Cobra one should be.
it s a great asset to have vehicles when very few of them are available,
it s like double whammy as a surprise for a newcomer.
while I like my Spirit, this one looks good, more cartoony I d say.
the others are recognisable, maybe the reg Croc is better,
but to have many alligators is def a +
I feel the fist fight to be a bit too fast at times, but looks overall pretty good.
the urban scene needs a bit of finish, but is very promising, it creates a mysterious vibe.
I like the roaming around of close ups of Muskrat for some reason,
like he looks real somehow, like Nam movie takes or something...
ah, cool to have a real woman for voices, a nice quality that sets a good production in the genre.
that must be Scarlett I guess? and Stalker perhaps?

Thanks for the feedback, glad you enjoyed episode 2! The fist fight was something I wanted to be very kinetic and fast paced/chaotic, but I agree, for the viewer is a bit too disjointed and hard to follow. I actually plan to do a custom vs official comparison soon as I now have probably 4-5 to do, be on the lookout for that.

On behalf of my cast and myself I thank you for the compliments! I'm glad you enjoyed it the story. I'm trying to make this series fun and action packed, but still stimulate the mature viewer with some interesting plots, dialogue and overall story elements so its very satisfying when people take notice of the story.

Fantastic Episode 2! I cheered at the trailer at the end, too. Those customs are outta sight! Your Cover Girl is better than the one I just bought from Hasbro, that's for sure. Looking forward to more episodes. Question: what camera do you use/recommend for stop motion work, if any in particular? What software video editor? I'm new to the hobby and think my kids and I would like to give this a go, any tips greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Thanks for the compliments and and for watching! I still consider myself an amateur when it comes to stop motion, but heres how I do it. I literally just use my phone (Google pixel) and a tripod for the pictures. SFX and VFX I download from free sites online. I use the PicPac app to put my photos into video (although I don't love that app, I'm looking to use a different one...) I use Vproc Vlogger to edit and finalize video. I do my stop motion at 12-15 fps. I've found that the key to smooth stop motion is more pictures. Especially for subtle movements and such, but really for everything. The funny part about it is that i have shot crappy animations that look robotic and stiff at 12-15 fps, and smooth dynamic ones at the same fps. It really depends on how you shoot it, not necessarily the frames per second. I've also got to a point where I mix in regular video as well, especially to still/non action shots like conversations. Hope some of that helps!

There's are some dudes that are doin' JOE stop motion, but none of them have the pictures that you have and I think it's going to make your project stand out. Also, dudes are going to be trippin' off of the fact the facility in the pictures is an ACTUAL.PLACE.
I have to go back out there and take some more pictures. I didn't get everything because I was losing sunlight, my phone battery was damn near empty, and it was COLD AS FUCK THAT DAY. It was hard to take the pictures because I don't have touch sensitive gloves and my hand would get numb after a few minutes.

Great job on this video. This is Renegadebiker24. What kind of camera are you using for the stop motion? I am looking at getting a stop motion camera.
Hey thanks for stopping by man! Believe it or not, I just used my cellphone. It's a Google Pixel Pro 7. I also use an adjustable tripod and then a stop motion app called PicPac (on my phone) and I drop the photos into the app to make the video then edit it in Vproc Vlogger (desktop program), all of those are free to download and use BTW. TBH, the PicPac app is ok, but I'd like to get something better soon.

@@datamag2018 I see. I took your advice from custom videos and I started going down the girl's aisle. The girl's aisle does have dope shit, (especially for furniture.) Most of it would be for 12" figures though.

All my customs were made by myself...Except for Sgt. Slaughter. He was made by a guy called BoredDad Customs.
