Fishing niche on UA-camhas been slow since winter has arrived. Just start posting camping vidoes with your Truck Tent. That's a niche untouched here in our area. It could be yours for the taking....
How are you coming with your Property purchase and barn build? I would like to see videos of that because I wanted to do that when, or if I move back to the Seabrook, Texas City area Got some family in the area and might move back and retire there. Not real sure with how crowded it is nowadays and property taxes thru the roof along with higher prices....grrr
I was fortunate enough to find 1.78 acres and the purchase went smooth. The land is almost done being cleared. I have been in the process of getting quotes from different metal building kit suppliers. The prices are decent but the wait times for the kit deliveries are around 18-24 weeks which is way longer than I was wanting to wait but during these times there’s not much you can do about it.
@@KagenFishing Almost 2 acres is quite a bit for a market selling everything fast. That is a long wait time for a building. Plenty of time to figure things out like, wind strength metal building, insulation, spray in or not etc. I would probably just move in a small trailer after the slab is poured then put up the building, or make some rooms with 2x4s like a large office with a large garage and call it a day...
Yah we got lucky with finding it. Wind strength is dictated by county and I have picked a company already from multiple quotes I received. The plan is to do a 30x30 bardo build inside the building. Also since we have a little one on the way we are just gonna stay put in our house while it all comes together.
@@KagenFishing Sounds good, no real rush to get things started with all the xtra stuff you have going on. At least you got some land for when things are not so busy. Yrs ago I built a house in Lomax and my 6 yr old daughter fell while walking on a pile of broken bricks and cut her wrist. A scary quick trip to Bayshore ER dept fixed it.
My wife had never tent camped until we met either. Brings back funny memories!
Happy family my friend!
