It's funny because I see them all the time, but when i pick them up and really look at them, I would have to say they are a favorite of mine. I wonder if we did make chimes out of them it they would cast rainbows on the walls?

Lovely day at the beach!! I love those stripey dog whelks - actually, I love all the dog whelks. The variety of colors always amazes me. It was so nice of you to include the piping plover chat, too. Our piping plover areas are now fenced off for the season, too. Thanks for the coffee chat!

Love hearing that you also stuff your pockets with the Minnie’s! I have been shelling on the Gulf in Alabama, wearing pants without pockets (if you can imagine my predicament). Because I simply cannot leave a shell treasure behind, I used the cuffs created when I rolled my pant legs up to hold all my treasures. I was amazed just how many micro shells those cuffs can hold! 😅

Hi Chris! Yes! I was shocked to find that razor clam intact and hinged. They are paper thin. And the love sand dollars feel so furry. Have you ever held one? I love them. ❤️🌊✌️
@@PlumIslandSeaCabin I have never found a live sand dollar. I'm not saying they are not there, I usually shell only on the shore. I will have to wade out in the water this fall when I go to Sanibel. Who knows I might get lucky.

Hi Tina! New England weather is super weird. For instance last weekend was in the 90's and this weekend is in the 60's. Typically is can be between 70 and 90 + or - a few degrees. Haha. Thanks for always coming along friend!
Those little micro shells were amazing. That side of the island must be the nursery where the little critters get their start. I couldn't believe you leaving the blue clam shells, I could just visualize a grouping of the Mico shells nestled in there.

Great day on the beach. Today had winds pushing tide in but I found top half of seagulls skull with top beak still in tack. Over the weekend I found a antique brick that I am researching
Haha - I think we might have the only log cabin in town! Haha. But there are always little cottages around that have been popping up for sale. I love little beach cottages!

Yes! It is right to the left of parking lot 1. Be sure to go before low tide and you should hit some good piles! Thanks for watching!

You should ask her if she knows about Masters. I actually trained with quite a few triathletes.
