The graphics are beautiful! Thanks for shining a light on this ancient spiritual path from which we all emerged. Besides the function of healing and guiding communities, I think shamans were a center of unity for the culture. There's a sort of innocence about them. At last we are free to learn about our shamanistic past without condemning them as "pagans". My feeling is that connection with the Divine did not start with the major historical religions, but existed for hundreds of thousands of years through the shamans. They were the first to teach us of the unseen realms, that there was more to reality than what we sensed through our bodily senses.
This is really fascinating! I can see a lot of these roles are meant to try to understand the world around them as best as they knew how, as well as playing a critical role in passing on tribal knowledge through the generations. It seems like their ability to enter altered states of consciousness and heal mental issues could be really useful today.
Shamans have the coolest costumes, drums, and vision drugs but still, they were nothing but con men like every other religious leader. This may be the world's second-oldest profession. Cool video, I love the artwork.

I think so. We appear to be out of balance as a society more or less.
