But not as usefull as they used to
Diamond is a grind proof for most people. It just shows you went to the hard grind of improving at the game and played many, many games until getting to that point. Sure some people are just naturally good at the game and take way less time, but that is not the rule.
Bro, I play JG and ADC (Ivern and usually ashe too) Everything that was said in this resonates in a deep way with me because I always put others first, in game and irl. well shit, I gotta be more selfish and do what I want instead of what I think people want me to do. Keep up the good work RTB
ivern is barely a jungler, he's a support that one shots camps so he can perma roam, and being an enchanter he's the opposite of a selfish character, you want to always help your team so they get ahead and stop feeding since you dont have the tools to "carry" the games outright
As an adc who went from gold to diamond in one split over years of playing the game I can feel this on a soul level. Once you get to a certain point in the game its a lot about mental and how you perceive yourself in the game.
15:32 that is why i choose to main support with over 2.5 vision score per minute with mains like Naut, Thresh, Pyke, Braum, Leona and all other TRUE supports (not including Lux, Shaco, Brand) This is also my biggest weakness bcs i saw it in myself by playing other roles like jg top or adc. My biggest failure is that I like make both sides happy. And its imposible. Some would say its not the game for me then.. but i trully love it. Like even if i play jg i focus on all objectives first. my usually way is to skip frog/ stanes or even buff or wolfs/ chickens just to take both crabs for more vision on the map or to block enemy jg ways to go for gank ofc. im maybe passive jg but i spotted that my actions to take advantage in objectives makes huge diffrence. ofc if my team does know how to use it. I've never been selfish person. I always loved to help others. even if i has to cost me a lot. in real life im talking about. for today state im worring about my old friend. he borrow.. from me and my other friends and so many ppl definitly too much money. we (me with friends) have to talk to him bcs its way too long its on the line bcs i borrow him first money about 1.5 yera ago. we had contact to 12 dec 2024 bcs my parents started to ask too many questions that i couldnt handle. idk on what he was spending or spending those all money. i hope he got them not bcs i need em but bcs i worry from who he borrow em to not end in worst scenario. yk what i mean. but back to league. even if i play AD i cant see myself as an ADC. I can fill this role but i wont do that even if i go with my master pool champs. its just.. idk.. humanity. i think.
I'm a main JG and only play WR, used to play DOTA though, and my worst problem with the game is how individualistic most players are, they expect me to do for them but literally most of the time no one does anything for me. 4 years ago when I started to play I was able to have 2 full items by the time 1st dragon spawned, now I rarely get 1 or almost one full item, ganking is almost impossible... honestly I tried the new AI in WR and it plays WAY BETTER than most players I've played alongside
They’ve said every character was considered during the writing of arcane. They can easily revisit zaun and piltover in the future to flesh out others’ concurrent stories
Let me explain something the coach meant when he said he needs to be selfish. A selfish ADC like me, would never shoot my ashes ult from afar to help another teammate. I would always use the ult up close in the enemies face and run the enemy down.
My mouse is really buggy, so it's hard to control where it's pointing. I'm curious to know if a coach would be able to focus on teaching me the game, or if they would just tell me I have to get a better mouse first.
get a better mouse is the answer 100 percent of the time. that's like a football team asking a coach what they should do when they're using decade old deflated footballs and wooden helmets, honestly. you can't get a consistent playstyle and proper muscle memory if you're not sure where your mouse is gonna go. you can still focus on improving your macroplay but your micro is almost certainly affected by your mouse, guaranteed.
There is no point in playing a game like LoL if you literally cannot control your mouse lol. I imagine it would be frustrating enough to play a turn based game with a mouse like that, but playing a game that's all about fast and precise clicks? Hell no, buy a new mouse, any cheap garbage is gonna be better than whatever you're describing there's no excuse.
the being selfish part changes when you get higher slightly you need to be selfish yes but make your timers faster to match team tempo keep this in mind when you are trying to get master/gm
All you need to do is believe youre the most passionate player and person in that game, and you instantly become the most passionate player in the game. And passion beats all. Just have passion
I'm a little sad this coach keeps saying "you are better in this elo" and doesnt get that all elos are much better players nowadays. This is sonething that people at skillcapped bring up alot. Like ive been playing league for over ten years on and off with my recent "playstreak" lasting a year now. I am definately much better now especially mentally and in macro yet I still started the latest season in iron. Yes at first I blamed "elohell" and "old account hard to climb with" but now I have realised that all players in all elos are just so much better than it used to be.
Sometimes i wonder what these particular paid coaches would say to me. I’ve heard from many people I’ve duo’d with that I’m better than my elo and yet, after 3 years, I still can’t get out.
I want to say the info he told you isn't that much, you know. But I do think he gave you the best advice he could for the next boost in elo that you need. It may be short term, but that's also fine cuz most of the time that's what you're desiring from coaching anyway is just to see the next step. I've made diamond for several seasons and you wanna bet I don't ever go 1 season without having several 0/10 games and griefing beyond belief. If you don't try some stupid stuff to learn, then you aren't going to learn it. Test, learn, achieve. You'll climb once you know enough like suddenly.
huh, I don't play that much league, but I think I have the same problem, I'm not selfish, I'm always running around trying to help everyone and at the end my ash is not strong enough. Maybe I'll play again someday
thank you RTB for sharing this video, im iron 2 but I know I am not supposed to be when my KD is 6+ every game. My early and late game is always better than the other ADC. now I need to know I need to be selfish. I always say sorry for stealing some dudes kill but if I want to win then now I know I need to be selfish. Also this coach is a big W
How can ADC be the lowest win rate role if there is one on every team. Unless he talks about ad carries vs mages in the bot lane and other picks, which at this point means that ADC is not a role but a pick archetype within a role. Confused.
1:90 Hasn't AD Carry been the weakest role in the game for years know? I remember that they started playing mages in the bot role, even changing the name of the role, years ago.
So… I’m a top main, I’m not mechanically gifted so I play relatively simple champions but I’m really good at playing them often winning my lane hard. Then I get out of lane phase and I get bodied by enemy team who often end up having winning mid + bot lanes. Even if I 1v2 or even 1v3, my team will lose even with numbers advantage. Wtf do I do? One time I check stats on website to find team disparity/excellent in 60% of my games but still negative win rate
Have you ever had a moment in which you thought "i wish my teammate was there" or something like that? try and imagine what your teammates are thinking and where they want you to be, thats how i ended up climbing
Top laners usually have the least influence on the outcome of a match. A wise player once told me 40% of the match is decided by bot lane, because that's where 4 players out of 10 are. When you think about it, the top lane is very far from other lanes. Junglers and mid laners will more often come assist the bot lane or dragon fights, because there is simply much more at stake. Top laners have it strong when they totally dominate their lane, or if the match outlives the famous 30-35 minute mark when good tanks are needed for deciding team fights and breaking stalemates. Good luck on this necessary but often ungrateful role! We should honor more often losing top laners for keeping their cool and not inting.
ur at least 200x better than me tho. my 25% winstreak on toplane this season made me go from plat 4(from playing top) down to bronze 1 haha. then i played sona supp cuz i got dj skin and all eternals and climbed to silver 2 back while grinding eternals. just think about 25% winrate, 17 deaths average, always losing lane, always 3 lvl down and 100cs down. that's me. worst teammate you can ever get, lucky af to grind to plat being carried every game by RANDOM teammates.
What does "right now ADC is the weakest role in terms of win rate" even mean? The nature of the game means that every role has an exactly 50% win rate, so how can one role be weaker than another.
I strongly disagree. If you commit to your play and it's bad you end up cooked anyways even if you don't doubt it a single second. If you don't play for your team, you literally end up playing a 1v5 if not a 1v9, you are not winning that. Not all adcs scale to late game, not all adcs are the win condition of their team. "Every single player can reach diamond 1 is also a freaking lie". In like... Of course, maybe everyone you met, people that are commited enough to hire a coach, people good enough that understand that they are playing wrong, but not the average person, not by chance. These guys just jave all their perception fucked up cause they just play high elo. A new season starts they get into games when everyone is at least decent get a 50% win rate and get possitioned into diamond, of course they don't think it's a big deal. Then you got the guy that is trying to carry games when on average there is an afk/troll/useless guy on their team and one smurf on the enemy one and they miracously win 6 out of 10 and end up in bronze. Sure, you are just one step away from diamond dude... And here is a hot take, even if you coach is fucking dumb, you would get more win rate, cause 2 heads think better than 1, even if one of them is awful. The very fact of having someone else warching over your game is unfair on itself. You are commited enough to pay someone to do that for you, on a game where you don't know if the opponent is doing the same. Whoever has that, has a superunfair advantage, it would be lole playing chess 2v1. Yet you think this game is fair enough to be competitive. I think that's kinda dumb tbh.
I've been playing league for 8 years now. I'm Autistic and league is my biggest special interest 😂 there are times where I've climbed, times I was an avid ARAMer and have spent many years just playing the game. (Just existing in life) I have plans for my life. I've never been great at anything. Good yes, mediocre at best i think. I want to become great and I'm starting with my special interest:) currently plat 3. End goal is diamond! Top 2% of anything is definitely considered being great at it!

I like ur videos and watch em from time to time and everytime ask myself "are u really wanna be diamond or just saying it for the vid, for the content? Its not like diamond is hard for someone who make lol videos much longer then i play league and start from bronze. And its not like u're playing ~5 games per Week to stuck where u are"
Btw i agree with "everyone can climb to diamond" but psychologically judge ppl by role is a bit weird. If u're playing longer than a year you'll probably try every role just because "why not?"
"adcarries has worst winrate" is also weird. 1 adc win, 1 lose. But rn its harder for adc to affect your game positively by themselves, ye. But good adc is playing with sup. They're playing behind rest of the team. They are still usefull. But not as usefull as they used to
A good adc will win less than a good jungler
Diamond is a grind proof for most people. It just shows you went to the hard grind of improving at the game and played many, many games until getting to that point. Sure some people are just naturally good at the game and take way less time, but that is not the rule.
Its statistically impossible for everyone to be able.
"naturally born with a disability to not hit diamond" truly resonated with me. Except for me it's Gold III
14:24 RTB literally on that blue lock mentality
As an adc who went from gold to diamond in one split over years of playing the game I can feel this on a soul level. Once you get to a certain point in the game its a lot about mental and how you perceive yourself in the game.
15:32 that is why i choose to main support with over 2.5 vision score per minute with mains like Naut, Thresh, Pyke, Braum, Leona and all other TRUE supports (not including Lux, Shaco, Brand)
This is also my biggest weakness bcs i saw it in myself by playing other roles like jg top or adc.
I can fill this role but i wont do that even if i go with my master pool champs. its just.. idk.. humanity. i think.
bro i miss playing league... RTB is the one whos got me into playing league :(
The biggest mistake we’re making is not uninstalling👍🏼
I'm a main JG and only play WR, used to play DOTA though, and my worst problem with the game is how individualistic most players are, they expect me to do for them but literally most of the time no one does anything for me. 4 years ago when I started to play I was able to have 2 full items by the time 1st dragon spawned, now I rarely get 1 or almost one full item, ganking is almost impossible... honestly I tried the new AI in WR and it plays WAY BETTER than most players I've played alongside
They’ve said every character was considered during the writing of arcane.
They can easily revisit zaun and piltover in the future to flesh out others’ concurrent stories
bro if you cant get to diamond after having 100 coaches....
he is doing it for content...
@@GeneralPet no way
Let me explain something the coach meant when he said he needs to be selfish.
A selfish ADC like me, would never shoot my ashes ult from afar to help another teammate. I would always use the ult up close in the enemies face and run the enemy down.
Can't wait for the next videos with some blue lock edits from now on
more people should listen to your songs, they are f...... incredible ! good video btw
Amazing coach ❤
And the last line was so hard, amazing 🎉
the being selfish part changes when you get higher slightly you need to be selfish yes but make your timers faster to match team tempo keep this in mind when you are trying to get master/gm
Thats a very good one, i am mid main and i also do try to be selfish and see fights worth taking
Thanks for posting RTB, your videos constantly make my day when I see them
I want to say the info he told you isn't that much, you know.
Indeed wise words " Hesitation is defeat " Isshin Ashina
my god what banger of a vid once again. love this coach sm KEEP IT UP DANIEL
huh, I don't play that much league, but I think I have the same problem, I'm not selfish, I'm always running around trying to help everyone and at the end my ash is not strong enough. Maybe I'll play again someday
What pisses me off is almost every mistake you made, I called it out immediately.. BUT I STILL do those same things in my games 😅
Hesitation is defeat
I came for some good advice for League, got deep lessons for life.😂
thank you RTB for sharing this video, im iron 2 but I know I am not supposed to be when my KD is 6+ every game. My early and late game is always better than the other ADC. now I need to know I need to be selfish. I always say sorry for stealing some dudes kill but if I want to win then now I know I need to be selfish. Also this coach is a big W
insane videos rtb keep it up love your content
i wonder how many more time will RTB coached about kiting before hitting diamond lol
When I saw the title I half expected the mistake I’m making to be playing league.
Only mistake we all made is redownloading it. I'm addicted again...
2 in one deal, a psychologist and a coach
yo mate loved the video, coud you give the name of the piano songs you used int it please ??
This has the same energy as when gojo told megumi he has to be more selfish
RTB training arc is here
Worst mistake I do is keep playing when I'm not in an enthused mood to try
11:50 what's the name of the music there cuz it sounds so familiar but I forgot what it was called and I wanna listen to it
Bro really payed for a therapy session 🤣 W
How can ADC be the lowest win rate role if there is one on every team. Unless he talks about ad carries vs mages in the bot lane and other picks, which at this point means that ADC is not a role but a pick archetype within a role. Confused.
Dang I wanted to hear about the psychology behind different roles
1:90 Hasn't AD Carry been the weakest role in the game for years know? I remember that they started playing mages in the bot role, even changing the name of the role, years ago.
Service websites are no replacement for therapy, RTB.
The problem might be mostly mental. Damn I swear my last two psychs said that to me as well
Befor watching the vid: WOAW Rtb is improving not only my league skills but also giving me life advice Woaw what a great man
Bro takes a 2nd kill in 27minutes "get fckd babyyy"
That coach would be an awesome drinking buddy. Will support ur climb as always daniel
also, its better to enjoy the process of learning because you wont get dissapointed if you lose.
A video without rana....Yes!! God i really hate that girl now -3-
OUKAAAY now I have a video to play while setting up my pc, mate youre a real G with these uploads. MAD LAD❤
friend, this will change my life. im at the same adc and irl situation struggle atm.
im also a Daniel
My biggest mistake is smoking Big jays before my matches and then wonder Why i cannot react to Q flash combos in time 😂😂😂
That Coach is based af 😮 having confidence issues myself hearing this kinda stuff makes you realise that hes right 😅
Huh... I thought the mistake was opening the game. I guess I learn every day 😂😂😂
So… I’m a top main, I’m not mechanically gifted so I play relatively simple champions but I’m really good at playing them often winning my lane hard.

What an awesome video! Thank you for this awesome content.
skip to 14:13 for the point; everything before then is just "cAwNtEnT fArmInG"
High quality content.
Bro is being trained by max verstappen
I think that's kinda dumb tbh.
why did he start getting philosophical talking abt hesitation lol felt like listening to my father
"AD carry is the weakest role in terms of winrate"
*Cries in support*
F that, climbing as solo supp is a coin toss...
be confident and selfish are really good advices
So if I start inting more confident and without any hesitation it is better than delaying it. GOT IT!
wait, how is adc the role with less winrate if there is literally one on each side? lol
or does he mean the type of champ and not the position?
this coach is a legend.
The biggest mistake we are all doing is playing the damn game.
You are not your worst enemy.
Piantas Yuumi is, as I remember.
Every single player???? My friends said I'm so bad I'm in WOOD TIER. After I learned what that was we all laughed about it.
Why take Dragon if they have literally open Nexus?
this made me cry, thanks
