Remember the Alesis Bitrman? OK, I don't either as it was off my radar. But plenty do as it was one of their desktop offerings from the early 2000's and was (apparently) a CrAZy box of fun. It's tough to find one now, though. So Catalinbread have brought it back in a more compact form with their 'Bitters' - great for the pedalboard - and it will bend, twist, warp and degrade pretty much every signal you can throw at it. The video, I hope, will tell the story. Bend on. 🤘🏻

Astonishing that this pedal doesn't feature an expression pedal input.
..And sad.
EHX ring Thing for this reason
@@alanale Ring Thing for many reasons!!!!!!
Does @CatalinbreadMechanismsofMusic even do expression? I dont think so. If they were ever going to, this is the one.
@@CosmicJered INTERESTING point. I never noticed that.
Always getting to the heart of matters - You and Andy can hear any pedal and know just play the pedal in a way its meant to be portrayed
Love these tones !!!!! A nice Change Too !!!!
Catalinbread always bring the goods. Not always a fan of some of their more 'out there' pedals, but they are are always reliable and do exactly what they say they will do. Good demo again, mate!
@Brett: Been off the tube for a little while. Great vid as ever! And congrats on the new studio! :D
I don't recall having heard about the Alesis Bitrman but if it was anything like the Bitters, that would have been pretty wild, back in the day. That said, I can't see a use case for me but it does sound like a fun thing to mess around with.
Crazy stuff Burgs!
Hmmmm…., I absolutely love the fact that there are all sorts of crazy and unique effects to be found in this pedal. However, in order to go from one cool sound to another you would need to change all the settings. So how would one use this on a pedalboard? That’s the question I’ve been asking myself. Unless you feel comfortable with just one very specific sound that you tend to use frequently during a set, I find it pretty unusable in a live situation. To change this pedal into something that would be more deserving of a permanent fixture on your pedalboard it would be great if you could store 4 foot switchable presets. If something like that could be made I’d be the first person to buy it.
But hey, I don’t build pedals. I just think it’s a missed opportunity. But… it would most probably make this pedal a lot more expensive. Choices… 😅
Oh this is bought. Friggin’ awesome. I remember playing with the Alesis original back in the day & not buying it because of the desktop format.
Gloriously hideous Burgs!
The pedal is amazing but...Brett Kingman is a legend.
ㅎㅎ 재미있는 이펙터 입니다 👍👍👍👍👍
But Britt, what if he's did?
