I agree man that it’s given off vibes from the 2000s. I dig the color way that you got. As a wide foot guy I’m gonna consider these if I ever see them on sale. It really sucks that 100 bucks is the going rate for quality shoes. I totally looked out that a small shop was liquidating their Lakai shoes.
I’m a big fan of Last Resort, I’ve skated nothing but them ever since they launched. Although I’ve only ever skated their vulcs so far. The original VM001 is still my favourite, I just love the clean simplistic look. I’ve never had an issue with them, I’ve found the quality to be excellent. The suede is really durable and the outsole is super grippy. I’m tempted to try these new cup soles.
I've skated a pair of VM001 and really liked everything about them. I have a pair of the VM003, but haven't gotten around to skating them quite yet. These look super cool and I'll probably give them a go eventually.
I almost bought a pair of dc recently. I felt like they got to in your face logo for a while. But the ones I seen were kinda basic but comfortable. Who knows I might go back for them
i like the look of them, and the colorways. i think some small branding wouldn't hurt, even like a small tag like vans. they kind of remind me of some dcs or axion maybe
I’ve got two Vm002s and one Vm003. The 002s were great but the 003s were a little tight. Those Cms of your definitely don’t look like the Last Resort aesthetic. Hopefully yours have better soles than the Vms because that dissipates rather quickly.
I have wide feet and the only shoes skate-able for me the past years have been Vans Skateboarding with vulcanized soles as they widen quickly and thus feel ok. The downside is that after 20 sessions or so it feels like I´m skating on socks. No more tread, no more structure, no more support or stability. The Vans soles wear away just way too fast as the upper of the shoes stays mostly intact. So I´ve been looking for cupsole shoes a lot but most options are ridiculously tight and pointy at the toe box. I´m really wondering how people are able to skate in all these prima ballerina shoes. Most of these shoes I can´t even get my feet inside. Have you seen those pointy Vans cupsoles? Zahba, Rowan2 and so on... I mean come on what is this? However, I just recently found the new Lakai Ludlow which is their only wider model and it fits me and I´m also going to try these Last Resort CM002 once they become available in Germany. They really look promising. Wide, not too pointy, well fabricated and well designed. Will probably go for the all black version. Very curious to hear about your experience with the CM002s.
That's interesting. I can't wear most vans because they're too slim for me. And I hear ya. I personally cant look down at a pointy toe box. It drives me crazy lol
i always thought their shoes were ugly too and not my style. kinda looks like all the p448 stuff coming out lately imo. another good review my dude. intervals tomorrow lg!
I like the guys behind this brand but oh man did i not enjoy my experience with one of their shoes maybe the vm001 would be better but kinda doubt it i tired out a pair of vm004 milcs on sale and to start off they don't fit well felt really loose even after double tying than the sole started to run bald after 2 skates seshes and the sole never really broke in felt stiff than i gave up and stopped trying to skate them aftet the like 5 sesh maybe i didn't give enough time but i just couldn't vibe with them went back to my nike sadly cause i thought be so call to support a different brand like last resort to me they have to revamp or redesign the whole shoe for me to likem they look cool though imo thats about it xD
Unfortunately I've heard similar things from quite a few other people. Time will tell if I have the same experience. I'm hoping they're good, or I'm gonna have to go back to Dunks and eS'
to me this doesn’t feel like a last resort shoe, and i’m not a big fan of the colorways or design, but I’m not gonna hate on em until i try em i like the VM001 suede lowcuts
A label, a logo, a swoosh or whatsoever is not a guarantee for quality or performance. I´d rather have a shoe that fits well and supports my skating than putting me at risk of injury wearing some mass consumer fashion brands who all over sudden claim they are skateshoes.
@@stickersteve007I agree man. I love the Es' Accel as well. I also felt the same about the other Last Resort shoes. I only like this shoe in this specific color way. It just looks so sick.
OG Airwalk vibes!!
Good eye! Didn't' even think of that, but you're so right!

yeah $100 is a little steep. Hopefully they hold up

Good to hear. I hope to be able to skate em soon!
It specifying lo mmakes me wonder and hope that they'll have this cupsole in a hi.
@@sidwellsk8er i was thinking the same thing. Or possibly a mid. That would look good

I'm rootin for em. Gotta get a few sessions in
Not really a fan of last resort but I want these. The 001 looked like the ice cream skate shoes back from back in the day. I want the grey pair.
Feel exactly the same way. Hope they do a black with white sole in the future

You know you want em. Go get em lol.

Maybe if they had an actual logo. The "eyes" logo could be hard to place on the shoe. Don't want it to look like a cariuma either lol
the grey ones look like they should have velcro straps 😭 you def got the best color
Hey velcro straps could be cool! Lol
more and more i see of this shoe, i like it lol. i thought they were so ugly when they first dropped
I thought so too at first glance

I'm hoping they work out. I seem to have bad luck with new shoes as of lately. Hopefully they'll drop some more colorways too

Yeah I can't get behind the p448's, but who knows. Maybe someday they'll come out with something that catches my eye like these
They look like the first ishods. 🤔
@@dataghost2307 I can see that now that you said it
Go ahead. Skate them. See what happens. :)
Yeah, I'm definitely gonna try them out soon. I hope they work out. I keep gettin let down on new shoes
i posted a shoe video today too 😭

Them being a cupsole was the main reason I wanted to try em out. Hopefully they work out
No. They look awful. Just watching they look so cheap like a Payless or Walmart brand. Can’t get with minimalistic style with a regular price, tag

All I can say is they don't feel like a Payless or Wal-Mart shoe
I agree. One of my all time favorite shoes is the eS' accel. No logos.

@Wh33lsofFortune I'd like a black with a white sole. Or white/gum sole. That would like nice
