As long as it's invested in EVs, which is usually pretty difficult during an in-game playthrough, yeah Although it's always important to let people know to feed their Proteins to their huge power pokemon!
Every single time someone mentions Huge Power, they completely forget how base stats actually work. It doesn't give Mawile an attack stat of 210. It gives Mawile a number equivalent to 258.
Exactly. Every single stat multiplier in the game both ability and move (Huge Power, Swords Dance, Growl, Tailwind, etc.) multiplies the actual numerical stat itself, not the base stat, letting you get some insane RoI and double dipping value since natures and EVs also effectively have their values influenced as well.
I love the fact that Marnie got a Mawile in Pokémon Masters. Since it's typical to always associate trainers with their type specialties, I never realized how perfect of a combination Marnie and Mawile are. They are opposites of each other. Marnie looks cold and intimidating, but she actually wants to work on being more grateful for everyone supporting her. Meanwhile, Mawile uses their cuteness to lure you to their chompers. When Steven got paired with Alolan Sandslash for a summer event years ago, I was worried that Pokémon Masters might get weird when it starts introducing combinations of pokémon and trainers that don't align with what's canon in the main series games. But I'm glad they rarely ever miss with the pairings. I think the only one I'm still trying to get used to is Wallace being paired with Blacephalon. That was so out of left field in my opinion.

Glad to have found more people online that love the little Pokémon.
I have fond memories of needing a Fairy-Type Pokemon in my first playthrough of Omega Ruby, and just happened to find Mawile in Granite Cave. I caught her, expecting not to keep it on my team long term, only for her to impress me with her incredible endurance and strength, whether she was in her Mega Form or not. She's currently still in the cartridge along with my other team members, but I hope she'll be compatible with Legends ZA so she can have another adventure after almost seven years. Until then, I'll be collecting Ribbons with her, so she'll always have a memento of where she came from when I eventually transfer her to Home.

I also think being Fairy/Steel is by far the most broken type combo you could get offensively and defensively but when we had Zacian (and even more recently Tinkaton) came into the picture, no one really considered Mawile as a possible contender or even as a spot on most people's team. I really wish Mawile would get a proper evolution to make up for losing its mega form. One idea I had is that since now that Zacian is the more offensive Steel/Fairy, why not make Mawile's evolution the more bulky Steel/Fairy type? Maybe bump its lack luster 380 BST to maybe about 540? Same thing both Gyarados and Milotic have for BST totals. Could also do that for Sableye as well. Here's Mawile's evolution stat spread suggestion. By the time SwSh came around, I was riding the memes of the Scottish Trainer, and figured why not jump in again. Mawile is definitely one of my favourite Pokemon. Especially in Gen 6 where it's Mega Evolution is busted. Additionally in Gen 3 it doesn't learn a single Steel Type attack aside from maybe Steel Hidden Power, but then you'd have to get lucky. I really should use it again at some point in a Generation that isn't Gen 6.

Slight inaccuracy in huge power description, it doubles the attack stat, not the base stat. This just means it has an even higher attack stat than double its base since it also doubles the bonuses from EVs and IVs.

I wonder why they didn't appear anywhere in the gen 9 games even though its counterpart Sableye did
It was always a mon i liked, even if never favorite. But probably a top 3 of the random single stage mons that feel like they should have just one evolved form. I'll figure out what the other 2 are later...
One of the times the 3D make me like a mon more. She is adorable and like super smol, Steel is my favorite type. So she’d be there with my multiple large metal beasts.
Mawile was always one of my favorite Pokémon 😍 Also, Shuppet looks quite creepy in Ruby & Sapphire. I really like it
START POSTING ABOUT SABLEYE!
Mawile is my favorite pokemon so lets fucking gooooooooooooo!
Man I loved Mawile as soon as it appeared first in the game. Sadly I had Sapphire, so could not catch one for years.
Absol took the place of cool weird pokemon with a thing on its head instead
Slight inaccuracy in huge power description, it doubles the attack stat, not the base stat. This just means it has an even higher attack stat than double its base since it also doubles the bonuses from EVs and IVs.
My favorite little guy :D
