We have so many Orthodox chanters chanting our prayers & hymns that we can listen to.

Unless you conceive cultures as independent blocks, rather than in constant intercommunication with others, then you can speak about appropriation.
However, if you conceive cultures as constant becoming, following a Hegelian dialectic, then, constant intercommunication between multiple cultures and mutual influencing would be normal.
If we use appropriation, we need to take it to its proper conclusion, are you a native English speaker to be speaking English?
