If it's at any point after GOW II's beginning he'd resolve to kill him. Zeus is Zeus and Zeus must die, no matter what form he takes.

Hulk isn't necessarily powerful because of his raw stregth or even potential strengh, even though it's close to limitless. It's because in addition to that, Hulk is incredibly hard to put down unless you surprise him with a massive initial burst of power (Doc Samson once knocked him out with one punch... a sucker punch he wasn't expecting) *while* he's using that incredible strength.

@@danielcristianescobar8157 To what I remember when the Hulk is regenerating, not only his body recovering but also adopting to whatever has wounded him, so the more you hit him the more he becomes immune with it, it’s somehow similar to Doomsday. But when he turns back to Bruce, all the stack he has is reverted back to zero.

@@Chiefteeth1 WW/WB and Immortal Hulk is near their level but arguably stronger in an actual fight. WW Hulk mopped Earth and went blow for blow with Sentinel. WB Hulk had a hard time not destroying the earth by walking. And Immortal Hulk has come back from being turned to ash and has one shot Thor nearly killing him with a single punch. The modern iterations are so strong that his villains are god/cosmic tier and beyond that with Hulk defeating The One Below All.

@@itsdk4751 that’s a negative. I read a lot of Greek mythology as a kid, Kratos has always been depicted as a violent demigod or the personification of strength. But still not on par with the gods of the higher pantheon. However, like I said, the comic book scale of these gods is on an entire other level

If you were transported to Earth a couple of thousand years ago and you had a handful of devices from today, you would appear like a god to anyone you encountered. Imagine pulling out a firearm, or landing your helicopter, or driving up on your motorcycle. Even a walkie talkie would be like a divine godly tool. And, if you started healing the sick and injured with modern medicine and procedures they'd think you a God.
Just because an entity is more powerful, advanced, or long lived doesn't make them a god even if your mythology says they are. And, in comics what is a god anyway?

@@kmp3-gaming986 Considering he defeated TOBA a cosmic being beyond Celestials and Skyfathers along with breaking Thor's Skull in a single hit while holding back, breaking Captain Glory's back in a single blow(someone who's gone toe to toe with Thanos) fucked up the Challengers face and laughed off his hit, while he was a head he nuked Dormammu damaging him and more. Hulk doesn't have the celestial-esk powers however when it comes to strength and durability/regenerative abilities he is beyond what they can do.

I kinda like that they make Hulk "weaker" it's just not as fun when he can beat anything.
He isn't weaker, it's just that he needs to fight long enough to get angry enough to overpower tough enemies. If they can knock his ass out before that point he straight up loses. That's always been his biggest weakness, aside from like powerful telepaths.

placing the hulk in a position to be restrained and just get angrier? Sure, that'd work. PLOT ARMOR! Hulk would just keep powering up as he got angrier and angrier. Zeus wouldnt stand a chance vs. World War Hulk or The Immortal Hulk. He's damn lucky the green door wasnt fully open.
That is my sentiment as well, World War or World Breaker Hulk, I think would have tamed Zeus but I think for the story line they toned down Hulk a bit too much for my taste because I really wanted Hulk to show Zeus who's the boss or make the fight more interesting.

Seeing Hulk puke out his guts like that in the thumbnail, something occurred to me.
In all the times they used gas on Hulk, it was always sleeping/knockout gas. Why didn't anyone ever try vomit gas on him?
Hawkeye could fire an arrow loaded with the stuff directly into Hulk's mouth and throat just as the big guy draws in a breath after roaring. Hulk would be pretty much helpless as he puked and had a fit of dry heaves after the contents of his stomach were gone..
While he's gasping for air, Hawkeye hits him in the mouth with an arrow loaded with knockout gas.
Nighty-night, Hulk.

Making him puke would not only fail, but simply enrage him further.
Also, knock-out gas does not work on him AFTER he has turned. It only works before, and even then it is 50/50.

Actually, I've seen them use knockout gas on him before, and it worked. But he's learned to hold his breath by sucking in a big lung full of air before the gas reaches him. The tactic he uses more often when gas is used, however, is the clap his hands together, creating a shockwave that disperses the gas. He likes this better because the shockwave also knocks down (or even blows away) the soldiers/enemies attacking him.
You know, I don't know why they never tried the simple strategy of doing what he's demanded many times in the past: "Leave Hulk alone, puny humans!"
They could set up a Hulk-size cabin in the middle of nowhere, stock it with a LOT of cans of baked beans (his favorite food), and get Rick Jones to lead him to it.
There'd even be a little non-threatening robot (like the FF's Herbie) included to do the cooking, cleaning, and making supply runs.
Hulk would love that. He'd have a comfortable home with no "puny humans" to bother him, plenty of food, and a cute little robot to be his friend (he does like to have friends).
The next thing you'd know, Hulk would be wearing overalls, wearing a straw hat, and playing a banjo. 😄

That... isn't exactly how it goes. The narrator is kinda off on this one. They were pretty even, and he only throws one bolt of lightning before going back to just using pure hands, in which he literally beats Hulk so bad that his regeneration stops working long enough for them to chain him up. And even then, it's still not working as well as it should, making him too weak to actually escape.

I mean, the Sky fatheres/ all fathers have God's from almost every pantheon. The reason as to why Norse and Greek pantheons get so much attention is primarily because Thor and Hercules have fictionalized versions of Charecters under their I.P.
It's also primarily because when they previously attempted to depict God's like Shiva, Vishnu, or Brhama, there was massive pushback.

@jamesdeer3129 HULK actually has INFINITE strength, as quoted by Stan Lee himself, but other comic writers that took over after Stan Lee didn't like that the Hulk was too OP to put in the comics because he was always one shotting his opponent, so they reduced his actual strength... FYI the comic version of the Hulk is also FAR more powerful than the MCU Hulk... but in the comic I put in my comment above was written by a writer who brought back the original concept of The Hulk and how Stan Lee actually invisioned his true power 😉 read it... so you can see the true power of the Hulk.

Thanos was never at that strength level... at best he was slightly stronger than a normal eternal nothing more... the writers just made him stronger than Stan Lee originally intended because he was a good bad guy and they lowered Hulks strength so he can have battles instead of obliterating his opponents with a couple hits... and lastly The Hulk's Anger is infinite ♾️... you can't understand infinite Anger just as you can't understand infinite power or space-time, etc. You're just a mere mortal... and it shows 😉
