Hey Nick, the 2015 Modern Masters packaging was a one time thing. It was mostly due to the fact that those packs ended up being very easy to search and reseal.
Ahh yeah, that makes sense! I could see it being much easier to open and then reseal without it being obvious. It's too bad they never figured out a better way to do it, because I love that it's easily recyclable. Anyway, thanks for the info!

Or maybe a vampire that sits in his dark room all night watching youtube videos of birds and birds singing. Hmm--sounds like I have a story to write. And I see this vampire likes to sacrifice a creature. I hope it's not the birds. Yeah--I definitely have a story here. Ok. Anyway. I thought it was interesting the birds came out to warn you about the vampire in your hand. Take care.

I open them with scissors in these videos because it's a bit quieter :). Those crinkly plastic packs can be suuuper loud when opened the normal way! I promise that I'm very careful not to cut any cards haha
Yeah, I noticed that when editing the video! It's not dyed, it's actually just the shadows from my mics due to the way I have them positioned in this video. Lighting is always a struggle!
This was a great video. I'd watch more if you did it again, and TBH I'd be more likely to buy from MMC if I saw more openings to get a better idea of what you can get.
Add a little more passive stimuli. Maybe line up the cards and go over combat damage of a hypothetical battle (ex. This one would deal 3, but this one has two, so it falls. But this one....) Liked it overall!

The symbol on the dominaria card is colorless mana. If I'm not mistaken, dominaria boosters offered a rare and an historic card (they could be rare too).

I must admit, I'm only just starting to get back into the hobby after many years away, so my play skills are a bit rusty and I doubt I'd pose much of a challenge haha. It seems like a super cool mode, and I have friends that used to play it a lot, but I just never got into it. Any idea if MTG Arena has a Commander mode?
@@theASMRnerd unfortunately no commander on mtg arena as of yet. there is a format called brawl on arena that is similar, using one legendary creature or planeswalker as your commander with a 60 card singleton deck (meaning you can only run one copy of a card in the deck). The only caveat with that format is that all the cards have to be standard legal, so they'll all have been from the most recent sets, and there isn't any multiplayer gameplay, just 1v1. There's also historic brawl but that's a whole thing with its own weird legality rules to read up on and this comment is already long enough as it is. Magic good game tho play magic
You were incredibly unlucky with those pulls considering the packs you got. The booster packs you got were super high value, if each box gives a similar distribution of boosters (like multiple masters sets) then it would definitely be tempting. I'm just worried that other boxes would have a much worse pack distribution.

Especially sets with masterpieces or high end rares, if you open a masterpiece in a set, just sell the rest of the packs since they are virtually guaranteed to not have anything of interest. Crack 2 packs of a masters display and get a foil mythic? No point in cracking more. Sell the rest. That said, didn't want to be too critical on a youtube video with a sponsor so wanted to "low key" caution people without outright calling it a scam.

Never buy lose packs. They can be box mapped and almost always have nothing.
