Wow thanks so much for making this series! Unexpectedly learning lots about the Cold War from this game that my school syllabus never even touched on 😅
You could’ve couped Venezuela instead of Brazil, used China to plop influence into another of the OPEC countries, then played OPEC to win while US was under Quagmire.
Quill mate - love this game! Would definitely love to see more of you playing it - especially from a US point of view and maybe even online against someone!
The event for Muslim Revolution didn't proc cause the US had exactly 0 influence in the states listed, therefore you couldn't remove any & so it just auto-resolved for you, instead of wasting your time. How nice of the devs.
Twilight Struggle really should be played against a human player, preferrably of similar skill level. The AI is horrible at the game with little idea of long-term planning, while experienced human players will crush you because they remember all the cards in advance and know what's going to come up and when to focus where.
Yes, you are right. I totally thought you ****ed up again.
Same. Lol. Glad I was wrong. Well done quill!
These games have been great, I would really enjoy more, perhaps against someone else if you know anyone who plays.
The reason the Muslim Intervention card did nothing is because the US had no influence in any of the Nations listed on the card.
Nixon: "Let's get everybody cool, make some ABM Treaty and lower the risk of nuclear holocaust..."
Khrushchev: "My vas pokhoronim!"

There was no way to know or reason to expect that the AI stays there for long enough to do it all.
@@gressorialNanites Even if it didn't it was still almost a guaranteed win. So many points could have come from OPEC
11:30 has cursor literally on top of "UN Intervention", goes "well, i don't think UN Intervention is in here...". I love moments like that

More of this, Just began to understand it, Its great
Any chance we see you play with the Turn Zero stuff? It seems like it can lead to some really wacky games.
Great! Love to see more of these!
Why did you not play the opec for the event for like 3 points
Actually 5 VPs, 6 if he would have used influence to control Libya or Gulf States first and then played Opec.
casual players overlook things.
Quill for the win!
The AI threw this game like an Olympic javelin gold medalist.

Try a game with Turn Zero next!
Better red than dead comrade!
