I Might Have Found The Holy Grail of Isekai From a Talented Author

- Typically in a Isekai / Reincarnated story we get a Main Character transported into a entirely new world and that's it. However this story called Oversummoned, Overpowered, and Over It. Is about a MC going to multiple fantasy worlds to gain abilities. Clearly the writer of this story loves Isekai and took a lot of inspiration.

Seriously like the foundation of this series so far. It has high potential to be amazing cause of the ground work the early chapters have set up
its up to 21 chapters
Check the manga version, it is much further than the webtoon version... It is At chapter 42 already, the webtoon skipped some parts of the manga version and some characters are a little more fleshed out compared to the webtoon version
Hey uh Chibi have seen my recent twit to you?
Chibi are you watching the Power Rangers Isekai?
I'm just wondering, if you'll be up for doing a video on "Clearing an Isekai with the Zero Believers Goddess*
For me , it's a masterpiece and I would like for the series to get more recognition if possible
There is a manga version that is currently ongoing & is at 42 chapters. I personally think the manga is better than the manhwa version, so far at least.
When i first read the manga, i thought It was a breath of fresh air to have an evil and fun mc like this. I just hope the manhwa version doesn't change that
Overlord (Ainz Ooal Gown): "Are you challenging me?"
Oversummoned, Overpowered and Over It: "Yes."
It's origin is a manga , the manga has 50+ chapter i think if i remember correctly... It's a new trend these days to convert japanese black/white manga into korean colourful manhwas 😊
Yeah, i like manga version better.
+1, the manga version has more soul@@twgok13
The origin is novel I think. The manga is an adaptation. The novel I think has been discontinued sadly. But the manga seems to be ongoing
"Her Summon" is what i consider great classic. Iconic wonderful art, comedy and characters
Masterpiece
It was already a manga. You can just read that. I also have recommendations for stories similar to this. This also reminds me of "The Overly Cautious Hero." *Dang, you said it in the video* off topic you should read "The Lazy Lord Masters The Sword"
The Lazy Lord is good. I 2nd this.
yeah when i was reading it just now it was nearly evrthing same, like whats chance, like theres even dark magician girl and then after it demon lord sumoning as in manga
I caught up with the lazy lord. It focuses alot on the characters and its very great but sometimes I think there's not alot of consequences in the story and the problems get solved very quickly by using time skip and a training montage every now and then. The mystery plot twist is kind of underwhelming for me like I expected it already but it was still cool. The characters feel alright, I guess, they kinda feel one dimensional except for the main four characters and some side characters who are the only reason why I still like reading it. That's my overall review.
@machian76 Tbh, a lot of the characters have dimensions to it. The only one that feels 1 dimensional is that one sorcerer dude. I love the characters, and the side characters feel good to me, like to his dad to even The clown demon, I agree that things sometimes end underwhelming, such as Vulcan immediately getting back on his feet after he had a motivational speech or the fight with the Mage I wanted him to be a bit of a major character but I don't think that's all we'll see of him. I also agree that the consequences aren't shown in the main cast, *but* there are consequences for the side characters like Brett going through an inferiority complex or those girls who were taken by the Mage. Your summary was pretty good.
The lazy Lord is pritty good it does get repetitive at certain points
Chibi. I suggest you to read "I got a new skill every time I was exiled, and after 100 worlds, I was unmatched". It sounds like one of those cringy power fantasies, but it has a very down to earth MC. The premise is that the MC needs to get kicked out of 100 hero parties in 100 different worlds. It also has only 20 chapters, but what is good about it is that it is that it does not end up after the 1st world. It keeps going. And I really like the art.
It was actually amazing, i also picked up the novel after it
We need more isekai anime where the main character manages to return home with one of the Fantasy characters coming with him.
"After beating the Demon King my party follows me back home and tries to get normal jobs"
the new anime that came out. ms elf in japan i think it's called? he goes back and forth with her from our world to that world. very interesting so far. mostly a romance slice of life tho
The closest we got would be the Pretty Cure series.
@LuigiTheMetal64 I think arifureta does it at the end too but unsure haven't finished it yet
Gate?
waiting on Chibi to read the real master piece, The greatest estate Developer. >:)
Lmao
It's cringy and weird, so yeah, it's right up his alley.
@@Zulooth1 but definitely very enojyable lololol
I think people are forgetting about cautious hero because we still haven't gotten a season 2, but damn you might've cooked when you found this one, I wish we already had more of it out
Yup.
Want season 2 so bad
I skipped it in spite of the marketing because it looked like it was one of those comedy series with only one joke, which also incidentally is the title of the series.
I missed Cautious Hero soo much 😢 I haven't given up hope that a seaon will be up in the future. I really love that anime and am eagerly waiting for its return 🙏
RISTA WINGS!!!!
found the holy grail of Isekai.
Me.. sees webtoon ....sigh
Chibi..the guy has been to other worlds multiple times
Me.. yeah that's not new my friend...
What’re the chances that the day I find this isekai, Chibi finds it too.😂
Oh you did?
Same just saw it on an add in Facebook and tried both manga and webtoon version.
I actually saw it as an ad on youtube. I went to go read it and once I was done, Chibi uploaded this video. I’m guessing they launched the ad campaign for it very recently, maybe even today or something. What a crazy coincidence
Read hero has returned@@ChibiReviews
Awesome dude I only found out today. ^^
Honestly I also recommend the Manga the art style is amazing and it does things slightly differently
How many tropes do you want to parody?
This Story: Yes!
I've been confused about this series for awhile. I read an older version which still seems to be updating and this seems to be a webtoon remake so I've been reading it too. I'd have to reread the early chapters of the b/w one to see how close they are but I think they're based on the same LN.
Lloyd Frontera 🗣️
Has chibi not yet talked about him?
@Sarabheswaran7010 not yet, but I think he'd enjoy it
Lloyd = water
Water = good
Lloyd = good 🗣
"Faraway paladin" is also a really good isekai. I really liked the explanation of why its an isekai
Chibi , You must Read the Webnovel "Lord of the Mysteries" , its a masterfully crafted web novel that blends in horror, intricate mystery, and heart-pounding action within a richly detailed Victorian-inspired world. With jaw-dropping world-building, characters so vividly alive they’ll haunt your thoughts, this isekai gem isn’t just a story it’s an obsession. Trust me, you’ll be sleepless, flipping pages until dawn.... Honestly , its the best isekai story with a Really Unique Powersystem.
The anime for lotm has 2 trailers out now (scrolled down to see if anyone mentioned lotm lol) Also there's 2 completed novel series now, we're talking about 3000+ chapters of content, which are separated in arcs/books of which I think there are 15 ish. Anime I hope covers all of clown (book 1)
@@geepfish7935 True, and I also hope that the Donghua adaptation is executed well, along with high-quality animation 🔥.
Excellent Video once again, Chibi! ^^ I'll definitely give this story a read at some point! We really need more isekai manga/anime that are like this!
I enjoyed the prologue where the MC is summoned over and over again. at first it starts off with such an amazing concept... then the MC becomes this edge lord and the story just comes to a screeching halt because the MC needs to kill fenrir? and show off his edgy powers.
My only problem with webtoons is how much space there is between panels. I followed a few for a short time, but what kept me away is just how poorly space is managed. As someone who reads manga regularly, use of the given page space is something that webtoons just seem to lack. Panels that go past the screen's resolution, panels that are too far separated, abuse of white/black space. I might give this one a try, but we'll see.
Watch Greatest Real estate Developer, that’s the actual holy grail of isekai manhwa.
This is good , really good...and MC kind of reminds me of AXEL from ''Mage and Demon queen''
(this MC and Axel are completely different and the only thing in common is that they were over-summoned , but due to that Axel went crazy and all most destroyed the world which is this MC and Axel 's main difference)
Unfortunately the novel this manga/webtoon is based on was axed.
Don't know how they are going to work around it for webtoon version.
Did it end on a cliffhanger?
@@Rabbitlord108 I have no idea, just checked on Novel Updates and it said that it was discountined after 4 web novel/2 light novel volumes.
You can check the reviews in that site if you are curious.
To me it seem the character felt too edgy. Doing evil for the hell of it. Lost interest.
So far, the manwha is way better than how the story is tackled in the manga
OOOH! I recognize this series now, I read a few chapters of the Manga version, "Meccha Shoukan Sareta Ken." When you mentioned that he was gained Vampiric abilities during one of the summons, I was like, "That sounds awfully familiar..." and had to find it again.
These stories are better than the self-insert stories we get from Western entertainment.
True creators make characters based on different personalities and skills.
What do you mean bro, a huge portion of anime is self insert entertainment lol
@@guilhermeantonio3682 I look like nothing like the Sailor Moon characters, not even the Yuyushiki characters. How are anime self-inserts?
@@LuigiTheMetal64 99% of isekai and 80% of shonen are self insert power fantasies
@@LuigiTheMetal64 dude why do you think there are so many kirito clones out there
I actually found this about a week ago, and I already love it.
I actually read the light novel of this one
very good, would recommend
So there is a novel to this
@@ChibiReviews There is a manga too and its better way better
Added to my list. Will watch during slow part of my shift
I suggest giving Nebula’s Civilization a try Chibi. It’s a great Isekai Manhwa/webtoon that’s worth a look.
Oversummoned sounds interesting, I'll check it out. The first weebtoon that came to mind that's similar in a way is The Warrior Returns. I recommend it.
The hero returns is another good one in this genre
Sadly Chibi never notice or just he can't take Dark and realistic Story.
First half was great. The second half felt off and now season 2 feels very strange. I dropped season 2
@ to me it like giving a context about the past.
I really enjoyed the first few volumes of the manga. I'm glad it's getting adapted into a webtoon.
Yes this one is based on a light novel. I've seen it. I've also seen another light novel where mc was summoned to multiple universes b4. Except there is a god toying with him who's most likely evil.
it's hilarious that you say you found this good series through an ad on youtube because I've been getting a lot of web toon ads as well but every one that I've seen has been yuri or yaoi slop or something. Surprised I haven't gotten an ad for something that's actually good.
Yo, Chibi, you should check out Avalon of Disaster
Its been so long between the chapters though. i remember reading it half a year ago or so i think
just looked into this to see if i wanted to try it and saw that apparently it was originally a LN that got axed after volume 2. it does have a manga but i am not sure if it went farther than the LN or not. if someone knows for sure that the series is still ongoing then i will read it, but otherwise this is just a warning
The manga is still ongoing & is at 42 chapters
I read the manga of this way before it came out on webtoons and it just keeps getting better
Going to check this out ASAP. Good recommendation!
When I saw the ad I thought it looked similar so it is just an adaptation of a manga I was reading.
I love Cautious Hero. Its one of my favorites that i occasionally rewatch. One to wear, one for spare, and one in case the spair needs a spare i swear that's my mindset
Man I love it when you drop new webtoons manhwa and manga on us bookmarked.
I found this series on a webtoon ad lol
SAME
If I remember right, one of the manga recap channels has done this one. Don’t remember to much about it because I usually put them on when I go to bed. As for that anime, I thought it was good and loved the goddess in it.
I knew there was a manga and light novel version of this. Didn't know there was webtoon version too
I have been reading it. It's really fun at the start but when he finally gets to stay on a world is just turns into a stardard story from what I have read so far.
I already was reading the manga for this, I didn't even know it had a webtoon, too. Btw the manga has 42 chapters out.
Yoooo i started reading this series last week!!
this litteraly sounds like a manga i saw before with the exact same theme.
oh reading the comments it seems it was based off of it.
ive gotten many ads for this series recently
Someone tell bro LOTM exists let him feast his eyes on actual good isekai :sob:
It would feed families😭😭😭
Wait... they adapted the novel to manhwa?
edit: Fvck! They stopped the manhwa...
Just add this to my list. Thank you.
It has 42 chapters out, on spanish. "In the seas". har har
i read each chapter of this manhwa. it was a fun read and the main character is the definition of i don’t give a fuck and it’s all about me me me. i really liked his eyes and their powers.
Definitely try out Hero has Returned great take on isekai genre
Based cautious hero mention
Give "The patchwork hero" isekai manga a try. It has 20+ chapters and releases monthly, but the story is pretty interesting so far.
Well , gotta wait a couple of yrs to read this cuz i finished the entire solo leveling manga in a week...
I hope it catches up to the mangas story since its painful for the manga to drop a chapter every 1-2 months
I did a quick research and the original seems to be the light novel with both a manga and a manhwa adaptation. The manhwa adaptation is the newer one, so less chapters. Just in case somebody got confused.
I kind of wish we saw more of the other isekai worlds he went to instead of insta resummon
Isn't there a manga version of this also, I forgot the name, can anyone tell me, I remember Kito Senpai recommended it, and that it was one of the best isekai stories...
Edit:- Oh I found it-
ua-cam.com/video/AEr-n8QjqjE/v-deo.htmlsi=ruI5DOwSBsZ4gKzx
Cautious hero only has 12 eps. Its a banger. Its available in youtube
Think this is based off of manga “Meccha Shoukan Sareta Ken; Summoned to a parallel fantasy world many times”
I was saying to myself, "Im already reading this and it has way more than 12 chapters out." I dont know why the one he is showing is in the manhwa style, when it's already a manga?
Not to nag or anything, but you really should disclose, that this video is sponsored content.

Chibi must read * record of highresk*
I'm currently collecting cautious hero so i will give it a read.
For what i know that is a remake of it (the one that you're looking for) there is a manga of it idk if it still continuing
This could probably be a good Seinen if they released an anime with a similar art style to the manga (not the webtoon/manwha). I really love look of it and it definitely helped to get me hooked onto the story right off the bat.
My favorite isekai is still Escaflowne. One where the heroine got back home!
hello chibi, great vid, just wanted to tell you that this webtoon is actually based on a manga its name is Meccha Shoukan Sareta Kudan
:)
this was a manga first before it got the webcomic treatment. Didn’t realize the manga until 9:30 . Love the manga, idk if I’m gonna check the webcomic version. Berserk of gluttony also got a similar treatment too.
Oh nice isn’t this the WEBTOON version of Meccha Shoukan sareta Ken? Great series read btw
Mage and Demon Queen has a character like that.
You need to review fff- class trash hero. I know title is too much generic but it's so much better than your average isekai. It's like greatest estate developer but more comedic and unhinged.
Everyone getting the Miku desktop assistant
Ferb, I know what we're going to do today.
ooo i'd love an ORV video
Second best story with "isekai" trope is still Eminence in shadow for me, you can't change my mind.
Same with me, i think TEIS is the best story with "isekai" trope, that's why I totally agree with you👍. Gigguk is also the fan of it😎. Some people just don't get it with this kind of anime🗿
@mijaneusof7405 true, many people think that it's a writing genre and it hurts my brain sometimes. I remember watching a Mistery/fantasy series called Shin Sekai (new world), which has not the otherworld trope, being tagged with that "genre". Kinda sad tbh. TEIS has great comedy and nice story building going on, and it would be the same even if they didn't start it with track-kun in my opinion.
ToG is arguably the Webtoon with the most dramatically improved/evolved art over time, as well as the best Webtoon
Crazy that I still need to watch overlord
I’m liking it so far
Bruh I literally started this series yesterday. Apparently it was manga first
The synopsis sounds a lot like the start of Meccha Shoukan Sareta Ken, a manga based on a LN! So maybe you like this one too Chibi
THere is regular manga adaptation of this in japan and it has 42 chapters translated already.
so the MCs powers basically make him a reverse version of escanor where he is nerfed during the day but becomes OP AF at night instead of weak at night and OP during the day like escanor.
Hoping Chibi checks out LOTM novel or the manhua which just had its first chapter come out i think
I thought you found out about lord of mysteries when you say peak isekai
Have you ever seen the world's greatest assasin? Im curious on if we'll ever get a season 2
Also nice video!
It sounds exactly like a manga I'm reading you should check it. it has the same name an everything but has like 30 chapters
So I remember reading this but never finished plus it's actually interesting
Chino idk if you told us this but can you either tell
Me here or do you plan a video on your updated top 5 Isekai of all time.
Who would want a shield? Maple 😆
Cautious hero was a banger
I remember reading an LN about the same story
There was already a manga of this
Pretty sure I have her of this one.
Sounds a bit much if he's getting pulled into multiple worlds and there's multiple power systems.
