I'm just going to fangirl in all of these parts lol I love the park scene so much. Beyond it being adorable, it's such a good reminder of how well Thun and Med match, Thun needs Med to help keep him focused and serious when he needs to be, but Med needs Thun to remind him to have fun and not give up or just resign himself to the way things are. They're both such a good balance for each other and push one another to be better. And they both care about one another so much 😭

I know when people say TOL is sad they're referring to Third's many heartbreaks. But I just could not be sad for Third. He put himself in that situation to get his heart broken over and over by falling in love with someone who didn't even know he had feelings for him. That's just stupid. Can't compare that type of heartbreak to a story like UWMA.

In the cemetery, Thun didn't actually burn real clothes. They're paper clothes specifically made to be used during rituals to honor the dead. Similarly we have fake paper money, fake paper clothes and shoes, fake paper laptops, etc. We believe that when burning them during the ritual, it would be passed on to the dead and they can use it in the afterlife. Similarly when Thun burned the clothes in the cemetery, the clothes then appeared onto Med
