Growing up in Belgium with french grandparents I've driven a lot of peugeots and I love their sportier cars. They're finally making goodlooking things again so I would love for them to join f1
i like it, it’s beautiful. however i think the volt yellow sections aren’t bold enough, this is for a car that goes up to 200mph, you wouldn’t see it. that also goes for the peugeot lion on the engine cover. it’s just not clear enough.
A Penske F1 team might be interesting to look at, they’ve done everything in both America and Australia, so why not return to F1 for the first time since 1976?
Funny you mention that Peugeot's new badge looks like a football team crest as they own Ligue 2 side Sochaux whose badge looks very similar. It used to simply have the Peugeot lion at the bottom.

I’d love to see Brendon Hartley in this series as a driver at some stage, he had such bad luck in Formula One but has proven he’s got the pace, consistency etc in the Prototypes, I think it’s time he gets a proper chance to make a comeback. Of course not in a team as unfortunately stubborn as Red Bull, Toro Rosso or Alpha Tauri ( no hate to them though )

What are you talking about. He has a chance to get TR seat at 2014. RB decided between him, Sainz and Kvyat. And RB give a prior to last two because they're younger then Da Costa. Felix had a good year, secured 3rd place in Formula Renault. Sainz had an awful GP3 2013 season. But Kvyat in the same team won GP3 title, being dominant in second half of the season. Picking poles, FL and races in Saturday, and podiums in sprint races. So it was most logical move to sign Kvyat. If it was for the money, they're would sign Sainz, he the richest of the trio, and his legendary father had a good relationship with a lot of sponsors, because of his career. Portuguese fans was talking about "Russian money", but in reality RB didn't get any russian sponsors after signing Kvyat. And RB multibillion dollar company, are they really so desperate to taking money for promoting some drivers? So there wasn't any money aspect.
That's up there with the nicest liveries I've seen. I think one of the teams should do a dazzle camouflage livery one year. Like RB did with their 2015 test livery but run it for the whole season. That looked so good

We are not from France but Peugeot has a really long tradition in my family and it’s actually one of my favorite brands. That’s why I‘m actually happy that they found their design "capabilities" again. If they would enter F1 I would instantly cheer for them!
Skoda (and Seat) are sold as cheap ass Volkswagen's, so forget about that. And besides, VAG wants to stay as far away from F1 as possible. Lada is part of Renault too, so forget about it as well. Volvo isn't quite sporty BUUUT their Chinese cousin Lynk&Co have been taking part in WTCR for years, so there's that.

You're right about Albon. A big fact to consider is, even though he is not on the track, he is still clocking in times with the Red Bull simulator, helping out Perez to get adjusted with the RB16B. So his experience would definitely help Peugeot.
In cycling there was a funny moment with Totals rebrand. They co-sponsered a team with Direct energies, meaning that the team was then call Total engery- direct energies
To me Grosjean makes too much sense for this team. He's got the French connection and he's pretty much the only guy you could get that has experience being with and growing a new F1 team from scratch
I would really like to see a GM entry such as Chevy with their connections to Indy Car or with Cadillac and their work in IMSA. Maybe as a Ganassi entry with partnership from GM.
