Hey guys! I produced this video because my 3 small boys and I had fun making these throwing stars, and I wanted to make a formal tutorial so other parents could do it with their families. Unfortunately, I'm expecting most of you will dis-like it, and kick-back in the comments. But if you've got young kids, they're going to love it .. so go have some family time, and make a bunch of exploding stick bombs!

These quick simple fun projects not only help build dexterity with their hands but also make them think how or why things happen. You won't get any complaints from this guy.
I tried,I made one Then threw it at my friend then it didn't explode then he threw it back it still didn't explode then when I picked it up I touched it and it exploded hitting my eye it still hurts
Ok so judging by how the bonus bomb looks, I believe the steps go like this: 1.Grab the red and orange sticks to form a V pattern 2.Bend the green stick under the orange but over the red 3.Put the yellow stick on the other end of the orange stick,then bend it under the red 4.Put the blue stick on the ends of the yellow and green sticks,bending under the yellow and over green 5.Grab a second green stick and put one end under the end of the blue stick. Bend it between the yellow and red sticks and under the red and green sticks.
It depends on how flexible they are. My are so stiff I can´t make a star, they would crack or explode before. And how smooth they are, they always sashay away.

Grant, I love your channel and your hard work. But please, try to avoid making repeats of videos, like this one. Maybe you could make a gun that shoots these cool stars, or a gun that just shoots these popsickle sticks. Thanks!
+Chris Spiteri Actually, he doesn't always make a full video of QuickClips. In fact, he wasn't going to make a full video of this but enough people asked him for a full tutorial that he eventually made one.
For the bonus star, you start with the three sticks as you would for the boomerang(mirrored). Then you put the green stick parallel with the yellow over the red(Holding the rest together) put the blue on top of the green under the yellow and then the second green stick (that is running horizontal) over the yellow but under the red, and your "lightning bolt" or "lightning bomb" should be finished =)
Like you said, this isn't as epic as a lot of your videos, but still, this is pretty fun, and I find really cool that you make videos for all ages ! I guess that after so many videos, it's hard to find epic ideas like the metal foundry or the slingshot.. Or you're preparing something gigantic and you make small, easy projects so we know you're still alive :3 keep up the good work dude !
I made a variant of the boomerang. Place a stick on top and middle , then take a stick and put it horizontally on top of the bottom of the stick. Push the sides under the points of the boomerang.
