these popsicle stick bombs make the coolest effect!! 😊 if you’re curious to learn how to build these, it’s called the “cobra weave” technique, invented by the Kinetic King! here’s a tutorial: ua-cam.com/video/ujDY9vwnne4/v-deo.html
@hevesh5 I have loved your videos ever simce the first domino video of yours that I seen on UA-cam years ago
What happened to Kinetic King? It's been a VERY long time since I saw his videos last....
@@The_Legend47 The Kinetic King (Tim Fort) passed away on March 15, 2016, after suffering a series of strokes. He was 51
@@SmolYui OMG I am SO SORRY 2 hear that!
This is mind blowing!
I’m sure someone has already said this, but your hardwood floors are absolutely gorgeous. I love your videos, and the way you’re always looking for new techniques.
I agree
I love this trick! but they aren’t easy to braid up, because of the hardness of the stick held down, I like the way you combined every stick bomb videos into one! ❤
It’s a little easier to build on carpet when you’re starting out.
@@StayFawnTop as long as I can braid a girl’s hair, I can do stick bomb too, right?
I'm still convinced that Dominoe Art will one day tour the great museums of the world!
I remember you all the way back from 2016, you made my childhood, now to this day I am astonished that you still continue and its been a ride.
thank you for watching and sticking around :) I’ve been really lucky to be able to do domino and chain reaction art full time! gonna keep building as long as I can!
I also followed her around that time, my first person I followed, when she did stick bombs. I love that she’s doing them again.
Same story! Hevesh5 inspired me to start building dominoes, and I’ve always had so much fun with them. I recently “rediscovered” her channel, and I was shocked by how much it had grown. When I started watching her, I think she had less than 100k subscribers!
No matter how fanatical you are about something there is always someone way ahead of you on the internet.
Those sticks are really super cool, looks weird and awesome how they jump up like that
Seeing this way back in my school days was cool, and seeing it now still solidifies how cool it still is 😄
aw I’m so happy to hear that 😊 dominoes don’t go out of style!
The amount of patience you have breaks my brain. :D
this was fantastic! now I want to see Gav and Dan from SloMoGuys to come record one of these in proper (or rather, non-phone) slo-mo
It’s interesting how the cups at the end of the line on the first clip fall before the weave gets to that point just because of the way the whole chain moves as it goes up the fireplace.
And the way the middle part of the spiral at 2:18 spins is fascinating.
Have you ever tried the ortho-weave technique? That’s my favourite one to build.
I love how it's like a solid living object and then it just throws itself and disappears. That's fun to watch. Thanks!
I remember seeing this years ago. It was cool then, still cool today!
Lily, I read your story in a rebel girls book and I just want to say you are so inspiring
aww thank you 🥺
Thank you so much for responding
It is amazing to see how you have taken this to the next level! Keep up the good work!
This is one of those tricks that looks great and then it looks absolutely amazing in reverse.
The playing card trick at 3:30 was wonderful.
I love these videos! How old are some of them?
thank you!! some of these date back to 2012! my first stick bomb is even shown at 5:30 :)
wow! That was a concert! 🦌💌❤️👏👏👏👏👏
WTH? The jumping effect looks like a snake rearing up getting ready to strike.. so cool!
1:56 _"you did it the wrong way, but you still got the right answer"_
I'll call this channel the science of chained collapse.
Stick weaving is really fun!! I especially liked watching the trick at 2:35!!
I laughed with joy when I saw the stick bombs going off. The dominoes looked tame after the rambunctious sticks 🎉 Thank you!
Found you through Smarter Every Day and glad you're still at it!
Seeing these tricks reminds me of when I was very young and tried to do playing card 'surfing'. I might have seen it done by an illusionist who take a playing card and get it to wave across the fanned out deck. I wonder if you've considered this.
This trick is so Satisfying and amazing! Awesome! Also, can you please make a tutorial on how to make double herringbone chain
thank you! that’s a great idea, can you please submit your tutorial suggestion at hevesh5.com/getinvolved ? :)
Amazing
this human is evolving. soon she will topple the whole world!
Super cool, Lily! I love your videos!
thank you! 😊
The cobra weave is so interesting
The Kinetic King can now rest in peace because his creation is spotlighted on what just might be the most popular chain reaction channel in the world!
That is so cool! And the slowed down sound 😩 good job!
The stick bombs with the crackling sound is just so satisfying... ❤❤❤
I remember seeing this on Rob's World channel, many years ago! Very cool!
Piękne i niesamowite 🥰🥰🥰
If I wasn't already a subscriber, your subscribe request would have gotten me to do it. This whole video is incredible. The patience and detail and planning just blows my mind. Not to mention when I saw the popsicles racing along I kept thinking, oh good, they're flat; they aren't snakes (I have a very irrational fear of them). What do I see later on? "Cobra weave technique." I'm just happy there were no cobras in the video.
No matter if theres new tricks in dominoes
Theres always gonna be that trick that will never be old school
And I say its this trick It might be an oldy but still hella satisfying
I appreciate that, thank you!
The B E A U T I F U L ART of demolition! THANKS for so many smiles!
This is really cool!
Question: Is there no good way to splice those popsicle stick bombs? You showed a way to fold them on themselves, to make sharp corners like in the star. Does there exist a way to split one chain of them into two, like you can with chains or dominoes?
6:22 - Yep. That's exactly how & how fast my "happy new year" fell apart.
Fantastic! The way the sticks pop reminds me of strings of fireworks exploding. 😃
yess exactly!! that’s why I used this stick bomb technique for the finale of the new year’s project at 7:00 😊
That was the best yet, I applaud your incredible patience
I love how you used bathroom cups
This is so amazing I’ve never thought. How are you guys do this amazing artwork it’s so cool.
This is so creative. Good job.🎉
When i saw the first clip for the first time my first thought is she broke the laws of physics pls explain how did you do that
haha it looks almost unreal at first, doesn’t it?! the sticks are woven together and held by tension, so when you release one, they all want to fly up!
The snake is wicked! Great job, young lady! 🐍 ❤
She managed to make the stick bomb go up??? Don't ask me how she pulled that off 😂
Does this remind anyone else of the Kinetic King from America's Got Talent?
Awesome compilation! It's always cool to watch some stick bomb setups every now and then :)
I didn't even know these things existed. I was expecting just her awesome dominos falling down all over the apartment.
I never knew that gravity could do this
How did you even manage such skill
5:30 The stick bomb you started is from the ending on Domino Rally 16.
imagine if it’s not recording 💀
Back at it with the chain reactions again!!!!
Those are so much scarier than dominos, lol. I really like the one around 2:50 a lot.
I would Love to see how you set up the sticks in the different ways
1:02 is my favourite super super satisfying & a very interesting trick
@1:38 you can see the chain reaction get squeezed to a stop then release its potential energy and shoot it back down the line.
The exploding popsicle stick technique used in this video is called the "cobra weave" technique
and was invented by The Kinetic King (Tim Fort) who sadly, passed away on March 15, 2016, after suffering a series of strokes. He was 51
Can you start telling us how long it takes to set up each display and how many pieces you used?
That was simply -- amazing -- never have I ever seen sticks just up and fly through the air . D
Ok Lily, STOP IT!
There is only so much [AWESOME] to go around!
Leave some for the rest of us :O
Omg that was so funny 😂
I still wonder who owns your old studio ever since you moved out of there
😂😆😂 Loved That Slide Exit 💚💚💚💚💚
Oh my life this!!... This is crazy video that made! 😲
No words to describe....
Regards from Calcutta(India)
Wow... ! 00:00 to 03:24
I have a few questions related to your dominoes. You use colorful sticks here. What material are these colorful sticks made of and how did you connect them so that they couldn't come apart beforehand. Are these colorful sticks under such a curved tension that when you let the chain reaction run, they fly up for a short time... ? There are also nice projects again and I find the mechanics of how the whole thing falls together really fascinating. 👋🏼😀
the good old classics :) that is that what i will see :D love it
You haven’t done this in so long !
So so satisfying! ❤
Do your sticks ever break when you are braiding them up, or are they a lot stronger than ice cream sticks?
How do you get them to slow down like that sometimes?
THAT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!! YOU ARE INSANELY GOOD
Absolutely amazing hev
4:33 how did you get the smile ball to not move but like slide ?
Can you build a 3D dominoes House?? 😁😅
Love your videos! So much fun to watch! 👏👏👏🎊🎈🎉🥳
How long does it take you to put everything together?
Sick!!
Epic. Great job!
Stick bombs are amazing!
Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🤣 uh… well I love it
I was just sitting here like “what the heck is that”
Someone's been eating too many popsicles...
I wonder what the record length is for one these, WITH a cat in the room.
I am your big fan from Bangladesh 🇧🇩 ❤❤❤❤
sooo cool. how do you make the sticks fly
Do you have any videos of how to make this trick?
Nice new concept
Very sassy!! Great fun!!
6:55 Teach them how to make it
Amazing 😍
How did you do that?
Ok now sweep the floor
I prefer the domino topples.
Good job
What a great job that you have done
The stick r so beautiful
