I do AC/DC vocal covers and I’m a hey Mick, I can hit songs like right on like Scott did and then I can hit other ends of the spectrum Johnson did Ivan is the carbon copy even better than Jim Brewer even better than different man from airborne well he is basically a carbon copy of Brian Johnson, even the look! I salute you Ivan and the rest of the band. You guys are amazing and I’m HDC knows every lyric to every song so I am quite an expert on the matter if I say so myself long live AC/DC, the rock sing and listen to also play. Greatest of all time monsters of rock AC/DC.

Matti - you ought to take up mixing as a side gig. Almost every time, you make a much clearer and better balanced band sound than on the original record.

that was really awesome ! i was wondering though since your all performing in your houses , hence house band , maybe in the future to keep it fresh , you could each go to a different bus station and perform that way ,or to a different subway when you record ,or each on a different corner of a different town . hah ah ha aa anything but perform together

I fucking love this one. The original is such a banger but this might even be slightly better. Ballbreaker is mixed so dry, this breathes a bit more and has a little more power :)
I hate the mix of the drums on this album. Like you said it’s so dry. It takes the energy out of Rudd’s playing.
@@silentmatt5141 That's funny. I actually like his drums best on BallBreaker. Bass has good thump and cymbals don't drown the guitar. Phil's a little more alive and complex also. Toms are a little dry though, I'll admit.
@@brandons6167 fair enough. I just don’t like the snare sound. It’s too muffled. Phil’s drumming on this album, though, is some of his best.
@@silentmatt5141 True. Didn't mean to argue. Just like to share. It might sound like sacrilege, but I think Phil's been phoning it in since Stiff Upper Lip. Don't tell anyone I said that though.
@@brandons6167 haha, no it’s cool! We aren’t arguing! Everyone has their preferences for the sound of instruments. I think Phil did some damn good drumming up until Power Up which has virtually NO FILLS.

Hmmm....I have to say I am skeptical here in that when you play the original and sync it to this, it sounds exactly the same and stays right on the timeline without any drift. Did you guys cheat a little and blend your tracks with the original, or did you just record yourselves playing along to the original to make it look legit? Also, I don't see enough mics on the drums to make me believe your drum tones are exactly like the ones on the album. Replicating these exact tones for drums would be nearly impossible given the multitude of variables (mics used, drums, cymbals, mic placement, preamps and compressors used for starters.)
Hi Michael! We always record our versions playing along to an existing recording, either studio or live, so our videos will always match up with a version of the song. The drummer records first, so he has to have something to listen to and play along.
Regarding the drums, you'll notice this was a guest drummer. He was a friend of Mati, he had recorded the drum track while in a recording studio and offered it to us to be used. He recorded this video later so that we could include it in the video, but it's not the actual video of him recording drums, which was at a recording studio with all the proper mics.

Yeah that's my fault, i'm the drummer haha, i've recorded this in 2015 and it was used 6 years later, so i did my best to match the track i've recorded in that time haha. And yes, i've recorded while listening to the original track
