The golden trophy was the worst prize for me in a 2D mario
Compared to the other games in the series and their rewards it's rather disappointing, I have to agree.

You missed one - in the Gold Classics Pack, there are 2 secret rooms. To reach one, when you start walk into the left side of the screen, and Mario will walk into a secret room. The other one is up a pipe after walking through a bit of 1-4. This pipe takes you to NSMB2 1-1, with a twist. Most of the brick blocks are gold that you can put on Mario's head! I've even heard of a third secret room too.
Shiromi, did you know that when you get 1 million coins, the awards also have New Super Mario Bros. Wii's Airship Victory music as well?
Most of these are not even secrets but still cool.

I played this game so much and beat this because I'm very good at beating so many levels, and secret levels but sometimes I didn't. Also I really wanted to do the infinite 1up trick! And guess what? I have infinite lives on this game
