I can only wish my shelves were so organized. I have well over 2000 books and at this point I have run out of shelf space. They are on shelves, carts, taking up a lot of floor space etc. but despite that when I look at all of my books scattered in multiple rooms in my home, I feel a sense of peace & comfort surrounded by my books. I can't imagine life without my books.
Reminds me of Spencer Reid's apartment in Criminal Minds. Just books anywhere they'll fit, and I love that

I LOVE this type of bookshelf tour! the chaos is so relatable haha and I love hearing why people organise things the way they do (even if the why is just no space and trying your best)
Running out of space, I used to get rid of lots of my books but now have a great temptation to buy books I used to own and loved especially when it’s an author I’ve read a lot of. My bookshelves are currently in the dining room hoping to buy a bigger house in the next year and have a library.
PRAYING for the stability of that floor and the strength of Ikea, you are putting a lot of trust in those Billy bookcases 😅 (I am speaking as someone who has broken a Billy bookcase due to the weight oopsie)

I've put a lot of my books in storage for the time being. I have like 175 of them out where I can get to them easily.
The majority of my books reside at my parents house (I see them every weekend) and my shelves are absolutely packed to the brim. I organise the books by height as it allows me to put more books stacked horizontally on top of the vertical ones. Having 1000 books and having to fit them all in my tiny bedroom is a blessing and a curse (mostly a blessing)
I was looking at the tbr cart and thinking "oh that's ok, totally manageable!" And you went to the rest of the tbr and i had a heart attack 😂 no but really they're cool shelves, i can't wait to see what you do with your future shelves when you get your own house!
If these are IKEA bookshelves, and I think they are, you could buy additional shelves (as in just the board) and put them in for more shelfspace in the shelf. If that makes any sense. Because you seem to have additional space above the books
I only got back into serious reading towards the end of last year. So I bought 1 bookcase, then once I collected all my books i had all over the house, the shelves were full!!! With my other hobbies I have no more room for more shelves, so having to unhaul and squash stuff on 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
I jst realized this doesn't even include all of your Wrapped Up books, either.
The organizer in me would LOVE to see you do a massive unhaul and bookshelf reorganization video, ngl.

Lately I've been forced to search for Amazon bookshelf accommodations for... 18 inches here, 10 there, 3 feet THERE in my apt., then....oh! corner bookshelves are a thing?! Yay!, as the amount of books I own mounts. Got a few book ideas here from your recommendations within so thanks for that too. And, as always, your edits inserting weird reality tv snippets are marvelous! 😁😂

I see The Keeper of Enchanted Rooms peeking out from the back of one of your TBR bottom shelves. I’m reading that one right now and enjoying it. It’s not one that’ll change my life (at least not so far), but I like it quite a lot. It gives slightly relaxed The Night Circus vibes - at least to me.

Ugh I'm running out of space rn because I have the storage cube shelf as my book shelf and they're so deep and not space efficient so I have books blocking books and it is so NOT IT at ALL.

Thank you for your video. I love watching bookshelf videos, I currently have 1 whole empty shelf on my bookcase. I only have one that is dedicated to books my other bookcase is a mixture of books, colouring books, and other stuff but I would LOVE to have more.

My partner and I moved in with his sister recently to save money and see if we like Colorado so we only have one room. I have one small shelf and the rest of my books are in storage 😢 but the shelf is still beautiful
