- Опубліковано 15 гру 2023
- In this video we finish up with the Fury-ous cooling system and then install a @HolleyPerformance Sniper 2 EFI. (Thanks Scott!) Then Jen's Civic gets some more TLC.
I showed this (amzn.to/3Rp4UGz) M18 Metal Saw in the video, but if you on a budget check out the 110v version that is MUCH cheaper. (amzn.to/3NuB4z7) They also work amazing. TOTAL GAME CHANGER FOR CUTTING THICK METALS. CLEAN CUTS!

I'm so glad the channel has been such a huge success. We all feel like we know you all. It's all well deserved!
Thank you Chris and Jen for a good year on the channel.. wishing you both good fortune and time's in '24.... not forgetting Gus and Turbo 😼🐕 Wishing you all Happy Holidays ❄️☃️🌲⛄🌲❄️
Wishing you and your family the same for 2024! Happy holidays and Merry Christmas
Gotta tell ya Chris that watching you and Jen is good for my head!
No egos, no negativity, no nonsense! Just informative and fun to watch!
Continued success to the both of you. It couldn’t happen to two more deserving people!
Lmao Jen…i just commented today about the ridiculously long assed cvs receipts! I bought one roll of tape and the receipt was 3 ft long!!!
@@1958yankeefan hahaha it’s getting out of control 😆
$90 filter is a bit steep, sock for the win I’m thinking . That worked so well.
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to all of the gang 🎅 🤶
I love a good NNKH on the weekend.
Jen is just too cool. Love Jen. She is the best. You go Jen. ❤❤❤
Great video. Jen should do a pin-up calendar. She's a doll! 😉
No she should not .
Along with your daughters
Geez, that’s such a beautiful car. Still probably my favorite one so far and glad we’ve gotten to see it along the way
46:30 I'm glad you included this. Growing up with a mechanic dad, I was taught at an early age - ALWAYS clean and put your tools away at the end of the day. The cleaning part especially important if they are borrowed tools.
From New Hampshire and just subscribed tonight after you said you reached over 500k subscribers. I thought it was time after following your channel for about a year now .Your videos are easy to fallow and you show a lot of good ideas . You & Jen have good chemistry on the channel as you are both funny with out even trying . Some channels try to hard to be funny and you guys make it work by being your selfs .
This came right on time. It’s a rainy day and NNKH came on through. Love the new garage!
HEY! Hello Chris and Jen! Good to see more of the Fury and I hope that Jens Honda is going good now! 👍
Any man who can appreciate a great cotter pin design is a guy I could have a beer with. Sometimes it’s the little things lol
Ahhh, cold beer and NNKH. Nice to see Holley came through.
Chris, love your channel, just told Matt you need be in the off road games! Matt’s Off-road Recovery
For those that are wondering, they make that metal cutting saw in a 110 version also and it's significantly cheaper (I have one and it works amazing)
Yes! I was actually checking those out on amazon. I should have mentioned it in the video.
LOL , Jen is the BEST Hood ornament ever!! 👍👍💯💯 Thanks for giving Jens Honda some love! Making sure that her car is safe and reliable should be on top of any maintenance list in my humble opinion, 😁 Thanks for taking us along Chris and Jen.
No need to apologize Chris, all your content is awesome. Thank you for all you do!
I'm in bed getting over a cold, with a tea and cookie, and now this video. Your video made my day Chris!
Same
Hope you guys feel better soon! I was sick for about a week as well just recently.
@@NoNonsenseKnowHowyou probably won't see this, but I want to thank you for inspiring me through your fly + drive videos to make my own visit down to Arizona. Heading down in March from Vancouver BC. You lead a beautiful life, man!
Congrats on 500k subscribers Chris. I just put all my vehicles up on the lift to fluid film today and found out 3 of them have frame rust/ rot. Glad to come home and see a new upload from you.
Thanks man and during that's a bummer. Can't stand rust
It must be really hard to keep the authentic feel when your channel gets huge like this, yet you guys pull it of and then some. All the best for Christmas and the New Year from across the pond guys.
Jen you guys have been together for some time now.
And have had so many adventures together.
A + on the relationship together.
Keep on supporting him on his whole!
" Baby, lets both have some fun together,
So many "couples would love to have the relationship you two have.
All the different types of content you post always makes for great watching! Great tips on the wrenching videos. Jen is just stunning and sweet and Gus and Turbo are so cool. Keep up the good work!
Congrats on the milestone Chris!
Thanks
The crack in the valley pan is a vacuum leak. Will affect you tune and possibly power brakes.
Congrats Chris! You're definitely my favorite content creator! Keep it up. You have worked hard for what you have built.
Have watched you from day one, keep up the great vids, love you guys!!
Can't thank you enough for that!
I alway feel happy knowing NNKH posted a video
At our local dragstrip testing tune, there was a guy killed by a fan exactly like that. You’re very smart by taking that fan off because rivets do fail.
I am glad to see that Holley stepped up for you. Good work as always keeping your garage well organized. Hopes for a great new year.
Great video Chris. I love how you always give updates on projects from other videos. Jen is an absolute hoot jumping up on the car and posing like that. The fact that she jumps in the car with no heat and doesn't even bat an eye or complain man what a keeper. DON'T let her get away!!!! GET a ring on that finger!!!! Merry Christmas to you, Jen Gus and Turbo!!
You are a great mechanic Chris, keep doing what you’re doing. Love your videos. Cheers! 🇨🇦
Bro for Jens headlights, just put a little ATF on a shop rag and rub it into the headlight lenses. Will clear them right up. Won't last forever but faster than wet sanding and clear coating them.
I'm glad you fixed Jens Civic. Chris now fix the heater on the Fury after the flush is fixed
Really enjoy your channel Chris, you keepin it real is why you're successful. Not to mention your practical mechanic insight is inspiring to us all. Fury sounds very healthy btw....Peace!
You deserve all the success. And Jen is a hoot. Better lock her down. :-D
Cool car! That pan under the intake manifold is called a valley pan!
✌🤠🇺🇸
Love the channel mate ..all the best from Outback Western Australia 👍
Great Fury video. Always enjoy seeing Jen and your little buddy Gus. Nice diag on the Civic. Never thought about a diesel fuel flush. Good stuff. Enjoy your weekend guys.
man i just absolutely LOVE that color !!!
The tin gasket under the intakeis called a Valley pan, and dual plane intake Will bring Bottom end torke at lower RPM and street friendlier for a heavy wagon, 👍👍💪💪
I could listen to that awesome V8 Fury engine idle all day ! 👌💖💖
Chris the shop came out really nice !
Thanks
Hi I love you vid you’re the reason I started my mechanic career hope you have a good day
Hey, that's awesome to hear! Definitely a rewarding career for sure! Have a great day as well and happy holidays
Keep doing what you do young man.. treasure your Jen.. Gus and Turbo are a treat.
I love watching this come together.
the addition of the lift s major - the garage looks great now - good organization with all the rollaways, lots of good content in this one
I absolutely loved this video! Just some good mechanical advise and showing the alignment process. So cool.
Favorite car he's worked on waiting for the next video on his mustang frame repair. Great show weiner's the star though.
As far as the rip on the ball joint just use some black silicone/rtv along the tear it will seal up the boot I have used it before and on weatherstripping no dirt will get in
Congrats on the channel's success, and for "keepin' it real"...That Fury has a nice lope to it at idle...A Very Merry Christmas and Prosperous New Year to you, Jen, Gus and Mr. Turbo!
thank you guys so much. You are so down to earth sharing your lives with us. I feel like I know you.
That wagon sounds bad ass that old 383 is awesome one of my favorite engines of the B family and then the 440 is my favorite of the RB family that and the 426 Hemi that is.
Holy Sh!t look at the crud in that sock! I might try that sock trick on my 98 ZJ. I think that cooling system filter is more like a sediment bowl for it.
Yeah pretty crazy how much junk came out of this system overall. I mean down right from the time that I got the car. Probably 10 lb. Crazy. Sock filter for the win! I'll definitely be doing it again on more stuff
Love your videos and even watching you and Jenn playing with the dogs!! Thanks for sharing much love to you and Jenn Merry Christmas to you all....STAY UP, HARD, AND FREEE!! 🔥🔥❤️
Great vid very entertaining. Stinkin' hot in Australia, would rather that than snow though. Have a Merry Christmas.
I miss the Retool store off route 1! Was a great place!
It's crazy to sit there and watch you mention all that stuff about the flex fan because that literally happened to me. The wrench slipped while I was tightening the power steering lines on my 71 Camaro and the back of my hand smashed into the edge of the flex fan and it literally did cut the tendons to my index finger. I had to have surgery to reattach the tendons.
Ouch! That sounds horrible. Yeah those things are pretty razor sharp. I hope you healed up good after the incident. Tendon injuries are no joke.
@@NoNonsenseKnowHow I did heal up well. Thank you, Chris! 👍
Great video, as usual! You prob figured this out by now but the IAC should read 5-10% at idle while not in gear.
I don't think I saw a percentage on the display, what would you guess the percentage it was trying to start out at from factory?
Ps, @CarlsJr you got great burgers but those prices are taxing!!
kidding I know you're not
20:33 the right side reads "IAC Pos, %"
That should be between 5-10% at idle without a load on the engine
@@LAactor Funny enough, that is where I got the idea for my login name. LoL
Whoa! I like that roll up tarp system in addition to all the other video content. Great job on the video. Keep it up. You guys have a great channel. Merry Christmas!
you can clean the cooling system: water + citric acid.
it really works.
I cleaned the 4.3 v6 Chevrolet Blazer like this
The fury yes. Not really big on wagons but the fury looks cool even the paint job sky blue look pretty rad 👌🤙
never been this early. New NNKH vid? SCORE!
Congrats on 500k love to see you and Jen
Thanks!
Thanx for Honda update still think u got lucky that material came from somewhere document how long this goes & update us excellent experiment cheers guys 😊
Got the flu glad to see you always making people feel better always watching notifications on Chris...
Bummer. Feel better soon. Thanks for tuning in
Same here had it for 4 days now but slowly getting better
@@herndon71 tonight feels so much better. It’s been nasty for at least four days.
You are a very good UA-camr. ❤
Thanks! You're the best
Greetings from a fellow 383 ‘65 Fury Wagon owner! Damn cool cars! Believed only one here in the U.K.! 🤠👍
I was told by an older man that mosquitoe spray works on foggy headlights. Something simple to try on the civic!! Love the channel. Keep up the excellent work!!
i think i would have filled the pipe with water or sand or something for extra weight
Maybe in the future if it becomes a problem. But for now I would rather not put the extra strain on the tarp. It's already pretty heavy
Ya the cvs receipt. What a waste of trees and always junk coupons you’ll never use. Just go paperless like I do now
We use those saw all the time in the commercial door industry they are great
Great to kick back on a Sat night with a Drink and a new NNKH Video on the Car that introduced me to the Channel 2 years ago! Jeff Houston, Texas
George! Get off the hood!
Saw the tarp setup before and they used a piece of 1/2" Galvanized pipe inside the the PVC (with caps on the end) to give the the base of the tarp weight, to keep it from blowing around too much. Otherwise, should work great. They finished theirs with an old curtain pull/pulley system to roll up the their tarp, worked easy. Love the work on the wagon. Had a 1964 Fairlane and this reminds me of how ours was before I messed with it as a high school kid, good stuff.
A lot of practical physics going on with the Tarp access door!
I don't know why I love this car. It makes me think of a Mom whose twenty-something has made a few modifications that she doesn't notice until she's leaving the church parking lot. Oh, and I enjoy clever stuff like that cotter pin with the hook. Thanks.
Legend has it, Chris walked around with one sock for the duration of this video.
Just unwrapped my new nnkh shirt. Love it. Thanks for great show, thanks to my wife for the shirt.!
Awesome! Glad to hear you like it and thanks so much for tuning into the videos! Great appreciate your support
That is a pretty cool trick with the sock and magnet 👍 I would not have put a whole gallon (3.78litres) of undiluted CLR in the rad, that stuff is potent you have to water it down.
I truly enjoy watching you work. You explain what you're doing for the novice and do things the right way, You're a treasure for the inexperienced mechanic... Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all - Chris, Jen, Turbo and Gus...
The straightening up the shop at the end of the job is the most important part of the job. I try my best to keep the shop in order. Makes everything so much easier.
Very true!
New garage looks really great all organized now. That big *NNKH* banner is pretty cool too. You have that Fury running great, it's one sweet old ride 👍
Congrats on the 500k! 🎈
Love all you guys channels.
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays to you, Jen, and the Gus Man and Turbo too. 🎄🎅
Simply Furious... purple stick takes advantage of the Torker style single plane, dual plane will choke it down on high rpm and lose donkeys... stick with it. I run a rare holley street dominator single plane, 6k all day. Sounds great. Happy Holidays!
There is something about your videos that seems real and homie
😁 this channel has it all - mad skills , great cars , a great girl & a cool dog
Hey, Chris, my wife had a 2019 Honda CRV with heater issues so we took it to the dealer. After it was fixed I asked the tech what they did to fix it and he said Honda's cooling system had a problem where the chemicals in the cooling system caused the coolant to get thick like syrup. He said they flushed it, filled it with CLR, ran it for half an hour, flushed it again then filled it with coolant, and it worked fine from then on. Love your videos.😊
Once again I love you channel and havening Jennifer in there is so great too. Rob Australia
Being honest about your gripes with Holly quality control paid off haha always great when honesty works out 👍
Such fun you two! Great times , keep talking and stuutttterrrrerrrere as much as you want! Love you gys!
You say that you ramble and talk a lot, but that’s why we’re all here! Your wealth of knowledge is incredible and we all learn something new every video. Thank you for all you do and look forward to seeing even more success for you in 2024!
Thank you Chris and Jen for all the amazing content on the channel, really love watching it. Wishing you Happy holidays from Holland.
the sock is genius !
500k+ is well deserved, may 2024 bring you more success.
Merry Christmas to everyone thats watched and especially to you two and gus!!!
@40:44 When your only tool is an air hammer, you treat all your problems like an air nail....
My first kknh video was the “Furry will it run”. So glad it is on the road finally. Such a unique wagon. Love it!
congrats on the 500k chris love your content keep it up
Thanks
My brother always goes to that casino. He lives right down the street in Bensalem. When I came back out to my old stomping grounds to visit him we went there for a few drinks.
1:55 The engine works very well. Pleasant sound 😉
Thank You for video 😊
Now that you mention it about OEM parts, I've been having poor results with replacement tie rod ends, inner and outer. After about 1 year of light use I get massive play in these joints.
Thanks for making videos like this. You have so much good advice, keep up the great videos
Enjoyed. Merry Christmas Chris, Jen and Gus!
Congratulations on 500k! Although a lot of these videos are purely entertainment for me some have taught me a lot and have helped me fix some things of my own , so thank you! Here to 2024🎉
