Oh yes! Def accent pieces and core pieces (like lamps and couches and coffee tables) For anything that doesn’t get much foot traffic, we don’t need a nice designer one - just a functional one or a dupe!
Deals are hard - I think it depends on patience. A lot of items I bought on deals, but they’re still pretty expensive compared to buying something at target or Walmart. My thing is that it’s a whole investment into my interior design journey so I’ll need to experience the piece!

Oh man, search up ‘over the door hook’ . It’s so convenient to see all the clothes at once and v accessible. It just hangs off the top of the door, so it’s renter friendly, doesn’t leave marks, no drilling n easily moveable to another location The only thing is that it can be a bit cluttered if there’s a lot of the back of the door (so it may interfere with how far you can close the door LOL). Also the aesthetic may not be for everyone idk. When I was younger, we drilled in wall hooks into the door, but ofc I don’t think that’s renter friendly.

yes west LA!! culver in particular! but yeah $4200 is actually really great for this space. plus there's 2 parking spots in a structured lot below the apartment. the utilities are all pretty great!
