I take pretty much the same expect + a hammock and poncho-Tarp (rather small, 140cm-220cm), can set up anywhere with trees and use the glider as under quilt, also glider repair kit and 30m of high strength (350kg breaking load) UHMWPE(dynema) it weights less than 30g and use it for all things cordage related (hammock, tarp, guylines, hanging gear off ground, hanging light, tying tripod to cook with (Dakota fire pit) and so on
Another terrific paragliding video. Very informative I'm almost 80 still fly. Love to watch these videos. You really know how to make an entertaining and informative video. Danke Schoen
I love it. I fly Powered Paraglider, but haven't transitioned to free flight yet. Watching videos like this will eventually convince me to make the leap.
Been longing for videos like this one you made!!! Great to hear some side information about this unbelievable sport. We don't have don't have the great Alps but it always fun to watch pilots adventures and views when flying. Think your on to something really good here! Keep up the great work!!!
Hi, I'm guessing the vario could be lighter, using a bluetooth vario and linking it to xctrack or xcsoar or LK8000 on the mobile phone that you're caaying anyway. I usually bring a tarp and use the hiking sticks as tent poles. Rain can also fall during the night.
Hi Paul. Would like to make a request for a vide topic!. Was wondering if you can talk about chasing clouds. I keep reading about flying the sky if you're high and using land triggers when you are low. I would like your take on pushing out to clouds. What would be your tips for going for a cloud? Thanks and keep up the great channel!
Paul, thanks for sharing. I've got a few questions: isnt sleeping in your glider damaging to the lifespan? And what is the total weight of your equipment?
Until we hear from Paul. I think Paul was using the glider as a cover so he will not put weight/pressure on it so I think that will not effect the lifespan. About the weight we need to weight for Paul to answer
Hey Paul, super tipps! Ich mag die komfortablere variante mit zelt ;-) Check mal mein Video (the beauty of the alpes falls du bock hast und lass mich wissen wie es dir gefällt. Cheers und viele weitere tolle hike sleep n'flys

Great video Paul,
Thanks for producing and sharing. As a matter of interest, how much did all your equipment weigh?
Nice vid ! For sleeping, only mattress, no tent when it’s raining ?

That one isn't the one that Paul is wearing on the video... @paul is this a new prototype of the Skywalk one?
RAD! This going to help step up my game.
