200g cornflour
Vegetable oil (for frying)
2 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
1 tsp ginger (finely chopped)
1 tbsp Shaoxing rice wine
1 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp Chinese five-spice powder
1 tsp white pepper
