Funny, a hip hop guy with chops better than half the self proclaimed teachers on youtube. Good demo, appropriate for that type of gear. If you are half as good at hip hop I want to see your native instrument demos.
How in the world did you develop so little movement in your fingers? The faster I try to play, the more wild my finger range of motion gets! I don't even want to describe what my pinky finger does. Great playing as always.
amazing ! Charvel easy to play fast solo ! I need to buy one !
Great demo - on my wish list as my second guitar ever...
super gemacht. Danke schön.
Digging that guitarface.
Great video. Definitely buying the San Dimas w/ Floyd Maple neck.
Must be the lighting, the slime green is so much brighter in person. Fucking slick geetar!
Holy shit you can play man this was the first video ive seen of you im subscribed im into blues but the licks you play with that classic sound its so nice man you have an amazikng style and you may beinto hip hop but that doesnt mean you dont know what your doing with rock licks because you have obviously practiced them and are very good at them I can even tell you have alot of blues licks down with your playing
Excellent guitar, excellent playing, excellent guitar face- excellent!
Monstruos!!! De Martini and Cavazos...Rock Monsters!!!
Nice video. Nice guitars. Unfortunately, I did not hear any blues tune in a Charvel San Dimas that is what I am looking for. Hope you find some time to make a video on that gear.
Congratulations.
I love so cal
Finally, they put a coil-split function on these and the truss rod wheel is a really practical thing to have.I'm really tempted to get a San Dimas, the SD JB/'59 is an unbeatable pickup combo, you can play anything with them, not only 80's Hard'n'Heavy stuff, they clean up very nice and sound god in coil split modus.
Yeah, I think it's annoying they didn't put the same pickup combo in the Socal, actually. I like the classic look of a strat with pickguard. Without it just looks weird to me. And, to your point about how you can play anything on a JB/59 combo, that's even more reason this combo should be on the Socal model. If you're geared toward 80s metal, the San Dimas is the look you'd want; if you want to play lots of other stuff, you're probably more inclined to by the more classic looking Socal.
For me it's the opposite,I hate plastic pickguards, they give the guitar a ''cheap'' look, specially when you have a nice flame/quilt maple top or a cool neon finish. The SH-6 are great for all things high-gain,but I'll take a JB or Custom 5 with a '59 or Jazz in the neck, over them, any day.A ''hotrodded'' PAF,has more then enough power for all kinds of heavy stuff, plus you still have the ''warmth'' of trad.humbucker for low-gain stuff. And if you want more power, just use a gain/distortion/boost pedal.
I definitely wouldn't get the Socal because JB/59 is what I want. For humbuckers, I like that combo and Dimarzio Super 2 best. Also, the San Dimas has a better bridge. is more important to me. As far as pickguards go, I feel the exact opposite; for me, strat and tele body shapes without a pickguard look cheap. The guard functions like a trim and the shapes just look awkward without one. Color or wood doesn't change that for me. The worst pickguard-less guitar I may have ever seen is Nuno Bettencourt's Washburn. The space under the top bout goes all the way up to the 15th fret! He seems so proud of that misshapen atrocity, too.
Man your not just a hip hop guy because those appregios you do have been practiced alot so you obviously have practiced all of these licks and your rock and blues licks your a very well rounded guitarist not just into hip hop
On the So Cal, did you have to do any adjusting out of the box? I had to take my action down a bit.
Where cani get this guitar in australia??
Dude... YOU'VE GOT CHOPS!
Is that So Cal really that thin? Or you just didn't added bass and added too much treble? Can this guitar be suitable for metal?
@@rabbitholeguy Hey, updates: I've bought a So Cal last year and I'm playing since then. Yeah, best guitar I've had so far and pretty much versatile!
Does anybody knows if that bridge is the Floyd Rose Original?
It's an original floyd rose, but it's the 1000 series, which is basically the same as the german unit but is made in Korea instead of Germany. I don't have one, but I've heard that they are excellent.
"I'm a hip-hop artist" lol
You don't maintain those chops without practice, little false humility there dontcha think
I believe guitars were meant to be heard ! I was an 80's child .
Absolutely love my new 2016 Charvel Pro Mod! (Satin Blue) Check it out! ua-cam.com/video/7yqrTvWEZI0/v-deo.html
with one is better for distorted sound
Great fuckin' demo , dude of the 2 different Charvel's ! And your amp didn't sound like a compressed , garbled bunch of shit ! Awesome tone , like I like .
Boy can play
coil tap does nothing when it's saturated, sounds the same to me.
I'll trade you my rocket red Pro Mod San Dimas for that DV Mark Multiamp!
Fierce playing; the mic placement/tone wasn't great, though. Tizzy/spitty - hard to hear what the differences in P/U, resonance etc.were.
Definitely somekind of compressor or tubescreamer on this demo.
Guitar sounds good but that thing he's using for his tone sound bloody horrible. Sounded so much better when he backed off the gain
Great guitars, but this demo doesn't do the justice. It just makes no sense to start demo of a guitar with everything set to 11, if you know what I mean
Your sound is terrible. these sound weak and thin and treble overloaded.
Great playing. Absolutely awful tone.
