No worries, I haven't forgotten about the intermission theme! I'm just going to stagger the publish date on the video (to hopefully avoid any issues with UA-cam not notifying folks) Leaving it as unlisted for a couple of days so I can publish it here on Tuesday. For those that frequent the Plutonia playlist or read this comment, you can listen here: ua-cam.com/video/Lz_0iGmVuDs/v-deo.html
5 Years in the Making, and here’s a cover of the Plutonia Midi OST that I do not see being topped in a very long time, this is absolute peak stuff as are your other covers. Thank you so much for making em dude! Keep shredding!
Taking a minute to read the comments in your video just see my own up there - what a moment - definitely put a smile on my face. Keep going with your awesome work DAR!
mom look i'm on a dar video!!! but on a more serious note, here we are. the finale. watching through this, i had a genuine smile on my face, the whole five minutes and fifty-seven seconds. great work man, really. never stop your works. DAR FOR LIFE!!!
Good gravel I got so many things to say 1. LOVED the creative parts you added to this cover 2. W MARATHON🔥🔥 3. I can now say I am in DAR history 4. What will you do next?! I loved the single cover you did for Back to Saturn X and would really like to see more covers from you 5. Love you Davester
Thanks! Also, I'm planning to have a poll put out here later in the week to decide the next WAD to get the marathon treatment. I'll be having a post-marathon video coming out before then too.
Thanks a lot for your work, again, it's amazing, this last one included ! Now, it's time to play again one of my favorite megawad, with all this good stuff for my hears ! ;)
Yesss i love this one! so excited that you finally completed the Plutonia midi pack. i can't wait to do another Plutonia playthrough with your remixes! :D (Also 0:201:08 OMG LOOK GARY THERE I AM!!)
Hell Fucking Yeah I appear in this video! Really glad I foud your channel. I´ve been playing doom with my grandfather since 2005 (was 3 yo at time). The old guy was a retro shooter gamer. Beeing 22 now and still seeing this love for the game make´s me gratefull for being part of the community and the game me and my grandfather always loved. Great job as always with the music. Keep it up! Thanks for all these years!
It really is great to see classic Doom and the community continue to thrive and stand the test of time. Truly a testament to its staying power and legacy!
Despite this being an actual stage track, it somehow fits an... ending? It really feels like a closure to the Plutonia MIDI Pack covers and it feels absolutely beautiful. Thank you for paving our way to let us listen through this amazing journey, DAR. You'll forever remain one of my favourite musicians. Peace and prosperity to you, our idol!
Bless you for completing what is your finest work yet, I hope you and your arm feel better and we get to enjoy many more of your amazing covers in future.
Thanks! Arm and wrist feel mostly recovered now. The next few days of putting together the post-marathon video and the next Doom marathon poll will be a nice breather before I dive back into making more tunes!
1:193:21 😮 Recien me doy cuenta en que aparesco. es un honor salir en tus videos. Seguí y no pares de tocar. 🤟🔥 Como dirían en Guitar Hero "👉⚡You🔥RocK⚡👈" Como diría Guitar Hero "👉⚡🔥You Rock🔥⚡👈"
This is the song of peace that fills the Doomguys entire body and mind, as he resolves to punch all of the demons in the face, one after the other, until none of them remain. I know because me and Doomguy are friends, and he told me as much. He doesn't care that much about getting all of the secrets though. As long as it's under par time.
Congrats on finishing the pack! Really cool way to end it with the comments video! Another great rendition! Excited for what you set your sights on next!
HOORAH! I MADE IT ONTO THE DAR VIDEO! PS: You'd think the original MIDI makers would make the song for MAP31 heavy metal, but they made it a soft, slow, melodic song, which works much better (And I think you should check out the absolutely diabolical Plutonia 2 MIDI track)
This is the one I was highly anticipating the most out of the Plutonia MIDI Pack covers, god its so beautiful, Tristan Clark knows his stuff! Can't wait for Broken Mirrors for TNT! Edit: I couldn't finish my comment since I had to leave for work so let me add more. You REALLY enjoyed playing this one, its all in your body language and you went all out with this, extending it and making more of what is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful MIDI tracks in Plutonia. Plus all the comments that were being shown through the song, that's a really nice touch and it adds more to how much you've worked on making doom covers since the beginning. I only ask for you to never stop doing these, you're wonderful and deserve so much more recognition. Thank you, DAR! I hope Tristan Clark sees this too.
Thanks, man! Indeed, Cry of Desperation truly is a beautiful track. I always knew since back then that this would be the perfect track to close out the Plutonia marathon to!
This last map track was a great way to end the marathon! Also it was cool how you gave us shoutouts as well :) So out of curiosity, what would you say was your favorite track to cover?
Oo, that's a tough one, I don't know if I could really pick a favorite. Much like with previous Doom marathons, I went in with my handful of favorites that I was looking forward to covering, but after having covered them all, I've come to really appreciate all the little things each track had to offer.
It's been awesome watching these come out over the years! Now that Doom + Doom II is out, are you planning on releasing your music packs on the in-game mod menu? Also, what are your thoughts on the Legacy of Rust soundtrack, and would you ever make covers of it in the future?
No plans at the moment for getting my packs uploaded through the mod menu. Maybe if I get around to getting "Doom + Doom II" though perhaps. Also, I haven't had a chance to properly check out the Legacy of Rust OST, however I'm really loving "The Shores of Heaven"! So long as enough people vote for a wad's OST in my "Next Marathon" poll(s), I'm down for covering anything! Which, in case you haven't voted in the ongoing poll yet, its over here: forms.gle/7bN7SkGjS21GPDrC8
Sometime here on Thursday or Friday, I'll be putting out a poll using Google Forms so everyone here can vote and decide together on what should get the marathon treatment next.
Eyooo I'm now inside a DAR video, on both my main @NuruddinPlays account and my Doom @NuruTheDoomer account :poggers: Seeing you finishing one of your long lasting marathons after following you for a long time (even before this @NuruTheDoomer account existed) is quite surreal... Congratulations on finally finishing it after 6 years! Time for the new era with more awesome covers to come!
:0 But seriously I love your covers ever since I found them all these years ago... Seeing you improve your cover-making skills over the years is really great for us the listener, and maybe for you as well, so it's a win-win for everyone! Cheers!

Congratulations on finishing the Plutonia MIDI OST! Your covers are what brought me to your channel and made me become a subscriber. 😊
It's over 5:00 am in my timezone and I should go to sleep as I'm going to work tomorrow, but as new cover appeared I have to check it out! :D
You make me cry! This is beautiful ❤

That's some good stuff man, probably the best cover so far. Great job covering almost the entire midi pack! DOOM will live forever.

Awesome. Love you Doom Community
Súper genial
Thank you so much for this music-marathon!!
The guitar tone is beautiful, great work brother
Those covers were always so much better than I expected before listening to them, thank you for some of the best Doom covers
Perfect! It was worth the 5 year wait for the full album. Looking forward to the next marathon (if there is one, of course)
Thanks! Also, there will absolutely be another Doom Marathon =). I'll be putting out a poll for everyone to vote on here later in the week!
A perfect melancholic tone to bring it all to a close. The longest project so far has finally reached its end.
It's over...until the next time.
You rock, dude. You deserve so many more followers. Here is hoping that they find you. \m/
