      Tracy Lynn hello Tracy. Thank you for the kind words. This didn't come out the way I hoped. There were many unexpected surprises like the rain. I was also practicing filming for the first time while on my bike. Not easy. I rehearsed it over and over in my head, but was not anticipating how much the fatigue from cycling would affect my thought process. I plan on remaking the Cielo one again starting at Spawn Ranch and going to both locations from both nights. Hopefully soon.

    • @caroleehubbard8380
      @caroleehubbard8380 4 роки тому

      Glow Bright
      It's a complex storyline (if you know Tarantino, his films are always very complex) but, the story basically follows the lives of a fading star ex-Hollywood western actor (DiCaprio) and his faithful friend and stunt double (Brad Pitt) thru the summer of August 1969 in LA. The main story characters cross paths with the famous Manson Family and entwines with the infamous Sharon Tate and 5 friends murders that took place that insane night on August 9, 1969.
      Suggest you read Helter Skelter or watch the movie Helter Skelter or any documentary about the Manson Murders prior to this film to gain a real understanding of the true life Manson murders of the Tate / LaBiana families. This new Tarantino film..changes the original real outcome of the real event to a more let's say satisfying end to the story.

    The reporter Al Wiman retraced the route they took leaving the scene. He was the first reporter at the crime scene. The Police couldn't find the bloody clothes so he thought he'd try. He had his assistant time how long it took to change his clothes inside the car - took about 6 minutes. So he drove down the road for 6 minutes from the driveway, stopped almost exactly where they stopped, looked down the embankment and there they were.

    Aside from passing vehicles, only birdsong breaks the bucolic silence. Such history is haunting, so many places have been the scenes of human drama writ large and small, but not small to those for whom it occurred. I'm far away now, but once upon a time I tried to find Spahn Ranch. I've seen some of your other very interesting vids, thanks.

    I lived in Lancaster, OH and knew Bill Garretson. He lived in the Tate guest house the night of the murders. He told me the whole story of hitchhiking to California, getting a job as the caretaker, meeting Steve while hitchhiking around LA and wanting to buy a stereo he was selling and waking up and seeing the bodies in the morning and being arrested for the murders. I though he was full of shit because he was just a drunk alcoholic old man when I knew him. It wasn't until years later after reading the book Helter Skelter and hearing an interviewer talk about traveling to see him in Lancaster, OH I realized he actually told me the truth. It was still kinda hard to believe it was him because he was called William in all the Manson stories but I only knew him as Bill plus people said he didn't like to talk about it. However he told me everything and we talked about it for several hours one night while drinking. Maybe that experience along with his divorce and son's death played a part in his severe drinking habit. Bill was a funny and great guy I'm glad I knew him.

      TruthHurts did he ever tell you if he heard anything during the murders?

    • @TruthHurts2u
      @TruthHurts2u 4 роки тому

      @@forresthaggertychannel4301 A little bit after Steve left he said he thought it sounded like Steve's car backfired and a bit later he thought he heard screaming but wasn't really sure. Later on he thought someone was trying to open the door and he thought he heard people/ someone walking around outside. He said he was scared and didn't feel comfortable with the situation. He said he just played music and wrote some letters to keep his mind busy and kept the dogs close. Earlier in the day he said he was picked up hitchhiking by some "hippies" in a van who dropped him off at the house and said they were friends of the people who lived there. I asked Bill if he knew Sharon Tate but he said he didn't know who the people who lived in the main house were and he only saw them once or twice while coming and going and only waved to them.

    • @TruthHurts2u
      @TruthHurts2u 4 роки тому

      @@forresthaggertychannel4301 I found Patricia Krenwinkel's story from that night. She testified that after being ordered to kill everyone in the guesthouse by Tex Watson, she thought something “didn’t feel right” when she tried to enter the residence and found the door locked, so she returned to Watson and told him the house was empty without ever going inside. They thought they had already killed the houseboy when they shot Stephen Parent.

    if I did it???
    meaning; that if a person did something very bad
    at some point they just have to say something about what what happened. .. a person who can't hold that guilt and pressure in there mind so a person who knows something of what they done? will say something about it in some broken sentence. .?
    and believing that they are releasing out there conscience. ..

      @Glow Bright Why so frickin' harsh with the capitals and 3 exclamation points? Calm down. I know he didn't ultimately get paid but that was not determined until after the book was written. He saw an opportunity to make some money and then the court awarded all money from the book to the Goldman family to settle part of their civil suit. His chance to make some bucks failed, but he did try.

    Sharon also had a life here in England for a while during the 1960's and made films here. She was interviewed around Carnaby Street in London [on YT], married, Polanski on 20th Jan 1968 at Royal Kensington Offices for civil marriages [here plus another one on YT] and lived with RP at a Mews house off Eaton Square in London for a while. Sad it's only the American ST we always hear about - I aim to go and see the Royal Kensington Offices one day, plus where they used to live. I corresponded with 2 actors who starred in films directed by Polanski !!!!
