twn5858 Truth but the difference with this peoples was that someone kill them, they didn’t die from any natural causes was a crime that make people wondering and asking a lots of questions🤷🏽♂️
It took a while for them to relocate the walkway and sell the place, there was always a haunting dark energy that was so intense you would feel when anyone would come to that walkway.
I hate when investors and other people tear down these houses. I know it's slightly morbid but I think they should leave the houses that had these horrific crimes at them. I wouldn't tear it down
Nothing happened at Mezza.luna and it was sold and it's name changed as the house where Nicole lived at also was changed and OJ'S house was also sold and torn down and it looks different now
I understand why they do it. Most people would be creeped out living in a house where murders had occurred. There would be bad juju. Also, they are more difficult to sell bc of the morbid history.
Hey Forrest cool video and an even cooler bike! 15:14 Bianchi frame and forks and looks like Sram groupset. The Manson case is always so interesting. Thanks for your efforts climbing that hill!
May I recommend the tour from Dearly Departed which covers the Tate-LaBianca murders. It’s a very good tour, very informative. The tour guide name is Scott Michaels. I asked him how much research did he do on this case, he said 25 years! However, I will not ever take his upcoming tour of Nicole Brown Simpson’s place. My personal choice
I lived in Lancaster, OH and knew Bill Garretson. He lived in the Tate guest house the night of the murders. He told me the whole story of hitchhiking to California, getting a job as the caretaker, meeting Steve while hitchhiking around LA and wanting to buy a stereo he was selling and waking up and seeing the bodies in the morning and being arrested for the murders. I though he was full of shit because he was just a drunk alcoholic old man when I knew him. It wasn't until years later after reading the book Helter Skelter and hearing an interviewer talk about traveling to see him in Lancaster, OH I realized he actually told me the truth. It was still kinda hard to believe it was him because he was called William in all the Manson stories but I only knew him as Bill plus people said he didn't like to talk about it. However he told me everything and we talked about it for several hours one night while drinking. Maybe that experience along with his divorce and son's death played a part in his severe drinking habit. Bill was a funny and great guy I'm glad I knew him.
@@forresthaggertychannel4301 A little bit after Steve left he said he thought it sounded like Steve's car backfired and a bit later he thought he heard screaming but wasn't really sure. Later on he thought someone was trying to open the door and he thought he heard people/ someone walking around outside. He said he was scared and didn't feel comfortable with the situation. He said he just played music and wrote some letters to keep his mind busy and kept the dogs close. Earlier in the day he said he was picked up hitchhiking by some "hippies" in a van who dropped him off at the house and said they were friends of the people who lived there. I asked Bill if he knew Sharon Tate but he said he didn't know who the people who lived in the main house were and he only saw them once or twice while coming and going and only waved to them.
@@forresthaggertychannel4301 I found Patricia Krenwinkel's story from that night. She testified that after being ordered to kill everyone in the guesthouse by Tex Watson, she thought something “didn’t feel right” when she tried to enter the residence and found the door locked, so she returned to Watson and told him the house was empty without ever going inside. They thought they had already killed the houseboy when they shot Stephen Parent.

Aside from passing vehicles, only birdsong breaks the bucolic silence. Such history is haunting, so many places have been the scenes of human drama writ large and small, but not small to those for whom it occurred. I'm far away now, but once upon a time I tried to find Spahn Ranch. I've seen some of your other very interesting vids, thanks.
Thanks for the great videos. One question I have is: Was the Tate home on Cielo Drive in Beverly Hills or Los Angeles? Since the LAPD was the PD on the scene the next day I always assumed LA. However the zip code is "90210" and looking on maps it looks like a suburb within the city of LA.
Get the addresses, and then get on the computer and ask what the distance is between the two of them, or google directions and it will give you the time it takes to get from one to the other and what the distance is. Just a suggestion.

His chance to make some bucks failed, but he did try.
I noticed that street where Manson killed and it looked familiar and then I remembered I watched the 'Once upon a time in Hollywood ' where it was filmed.Great.
You did a great job but the telling of the Tate murders is superb but very sad for each person that list their lives!!
Love your work. Interesting. The 1st person view is wonderful.
I don't know how people could live around there-CREEPY!!!!🤤🤤🤤🤤
Man, you keep nailing these tours. Wonderful work.
Just discovered your channel. It is super interesting! I'm a visual learner (engineer by trade), and love seeing you go place to place, both in life and on Google Maps. It gives an interesting perspective. Keep it up! Subscribed.
Just discovered your channel, fascinating videos and very well made. Thanks a lot!
daphnesdumauriers thank you and I’m happy you enjoy them!
It’s hard to imagine such awful things happening in such a beautiful place
And it was a beautiful place timing was of never know when things are going 2 happeng God bless them both
Very interesting, thank you for taking us on this journey… This is a really great video. You explain things very well
wow......appreciate your efforts! Being an LA native, I've done these tours but not remotely to this extent; two enthusiastic thumbs up!
It's always been interesting to me that the media at the time described the Cielo Drive house a mansion. In reality it was not that fancy at all. Probably had one of the best views of the city though.
i looked up the actual mansion thats there now, it costs 19.9 million dollars. probably over 19 times the value of the original house.
Thanks, have always wondered what these locations look like now
hi thank you thanks for doing this. appreciate your work. keep it up. I enjoy your videos. I really like them.have you gone to Jay Sebring house? I wonder what it looks like now.
geez you sure do get around. God Bless.
The streets are horrible for such affluent area
Thank You for all of your great videos, I enjoy watching them.
@ForrestHaggerty I have, like many others, just seen Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, which features a different take on the Tate murders. Through the entire movie I could not help but think of these videos of yours because I felt as if I had seen the actual places. Thank you for your efforts.
I’m impressed w/ your knowledge and biking skills. I can’t climb at all; you’ve got big King of the Mountain energy!
Really well done, great presenting😉👍
This gives such a great feel for the environments of these tragedies. I enjoyed that you know such history - How things have changed etc.
Great job on the video. Really liked it.
Not far from these locations are the Marilyn Monroe and Michael Jackson death houses
I don't understand why people make such a big deal of where people died at. That's life. Death is going to happen to us all.
Justin Nitsuj “Not far” -they are miles apart
twn5858 Truth but the difference with this peoples was that someone kill them, they didn’t die from any natural causes was a crime that make people wondering and asking a lots of questions🤷🏽♂️
twn5858 shut up ass clown.
twn5858 it’s just interesting that’s all
Wonderful video! Very underrated channel...❤️
Christel Thomas thank you for your kind words! I truly appreciate them. I’m very happy you enjoyed the video.
It took a while for them to relocate the walkway and sell the place, there was always a haunting dark energy that was so intense you would feel when anyone would come to that walkway.
Just Found your channel.... Great video!! Subscribing!! 😀
Thank you!
I hate when investors and other people tear down these houses. I know it's slightly morbid but I think they should leave the houses that had these horrific crimes at them. I wouldn't tear it down
And to live with all the negative vibe...and anxiety
Nothing happened at Mezza.luna and it was sold and it's name changed as the house where Nicole lived at also was changed and OJ'S house was also sold and torn down and it looks different now
I understand why they do it. Most people would be creeped out living in a house where murders had occurred. There would be bad juju. Also, they are more difficult to sell bc of the morbid history.
Thank you for this wonderful video. It helps to see the actual locations and routes.
I like all your channels
you detail everything so understanding. ..
Great video buddy 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽. Also. Nice Bianchi. 👍🏽👍🏽
These vids are surprisingly good and extremely interesting. Thank you for the physical effort you put into this.
Hey Forrest cool video and an even cooler bike! 15:14 Bianchi frame and forks and looks like Sram groupset. The Manson case is always so interesting. Thanks for your efforts climbing that hill!
Gary Sellars thank you for your comment. I truly appreciate it!
What a beautiful rainy day in California !!!thanks for the tour and the awesome info 🙏
TruthHurts did he ever tell you if he heard anything during the murders?
TruthHurts I have always wondered if he heard anything but I couldn’t find any information anywhere. You’re the first to share with me. What you say all makes sense. Thank you for sharing!! I really appreciate it!
TruthHurts do you know where Garretson is today?
Great video! Keep 'em coming and stay in great shape!😄
Awesome video. I've read extensively on both of these cases and the details of the locations you point out are great.
Wow man great documentation. Keep up the great work. Would love to see more like this.
Another great video! Thanks for all the footwork put into your videos Forrest!
Did anyone see the bronco parked in the alley???...Love your vid's Forrest =)
Thanks for the great videos. One question I have is: Was the Tate home on Cielo Drive in Beverly Hills or Los Angeles? Since the LAPD was the PD on the scene the next day I always assumed LA. However the zip code is "90210" and looking on maps it looks like a suburb within the city of LA.
It’s in Beverly, but LAPD is responsible for over seeing the whole area.
It’s gotta be a very surreal feeling to be at these places
Very informative and respectfully done 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
How far is the distance between the Brown and Ceilo residential area?
Get the addresses, and then get on the computer and ask what the distance is between the two of them, or google directions and it will give you the time it takes to get from one to the other and what the distance is. Just a suggestion.
@@ProudKansan08 lol, couldnt you just tell us lazy people?
Great video . Good current video of the locations. Thanks
..Excellent job!! 👌🏼👍🏼
..But you had planned a 2nd visit to these two spots with more stable camera work & on a bright day...What happened to that? 🤔
Thanks Forrest, your very detailed.
How far is that portion of Cielo Drive from where the Tate house gate was and back to the spot where they parked the car.....about 3 or 4 blocks?
