1:34. That is a hugely important point you make, Benny. Ultimately, it is the production that dates the original recordings (with exceptions). When you strip away the production, and you have the remaining raw, pure melody, that won't date ever. You play the Rondo movement of Beethoven's Waldstein Piano Sonata, and play it on the piano as a solo performance as Beethoven meant to be, it never really dates to the wider audience. If you were to arrange and record with orchestras, percussion, vocals etc you dilute the purity of the melody and, in turn, date it.
Those 21 pieces on your new album will sound as fresh and fantastic in 2317 as they do today. I promise.
