2:45:54 the location was 5 questpoints, you quested for eleven and the thread was 9 = 2 quest point. Then discard 2 cards to make a +2 Meaning, that location was 1 from being done
Good game you are playing easy mode do not make the game harder on yourself Rob should not have done the hide test when he revealed Piercing Cry because the Black Rider was not revealed. The action window that opens up is only after the hide test to make you able to play actions to boost the willpower to the characters you already exhausted to the hide test.
I actually just finished this camping for the first time ever using the recommended hobbit’s deck (I’m just getting into the game). The most difficult part was getting the perfect balance when questing to maintain my thread level low but avoiding moving to the second quest until I was ready for the hide test, I actually lost multiple times because of this. You were really lucky! 😅
It was extremely epic. It's great to watch. Theodred could have survived btw. Mel could have played her 2 cost ally with the stone, block and destroy him, then Rob could have fetch it back with stand and fight, block and destroy him again. Cheers!
3:24:05 Each player can only optionally engage one enemy, so Mel could not take the Evil Crow since she had already optionally engaged the Black Rider. Her threat was only 27 and the Evil Crow's engagement cost was 29 due to Pippin's ability since she controlled 4 Hobbit heroes at the time, so it would not have engaged her normally either. The Evil Crow should have gone to Rob since his threat was higher than 29.
she's first player, so she optionally engages the rider, he does not optionally engage anyone, she checks engament value which makes the crow engage her, and then he checks getting engaged by the second rider.
@draekko74 But as I pointed out, it would not have engaged her because Pippen's ability causes the crows to have an engagement cost of 29 and her threat was only 27.

Thanks for the video. We are just getting into the Fellowship and you guys helped out a lot with questions we had.
Gameplay starts at basically 1:13:00, if you already know what the game is. Still recommend watching the rest, though!
more like 2:00:00

I agree, we were very lucky there. 🤣

Will you be going back to Angmar awakened campaign now that you have a bigger hero card pool?

Can't wait to see who Rob and Mel decide to sacrifice to the Balrog. I threw Pippin in and couldn't stop laughing at the image.
Thank you so much for spoiling!
