Looks yummy. I love cinnamon. Thank you. Breakfast cereals are really expensive nowadays - this looks great. You might not need to add milk, just nibble with your morning coffee. Great recipe using everyday ingredients - I love it!
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm thrilled to hear that you love cinnamon. It really is a great way to start the day, especially with a cup of coffee. I agree, breakfast cereals can be expensive, so I'm glad you found this recipe helpful. I hope you enjoy making and nibbling on it as much as I do! 😊
@@MyLockDownRasoi LOVE your recipes and this one too, but please don't call this recipe 'healthy' as it has jaggery whichi is sugar and not ok for people watching their carbohydrates.........namaskar and thank you dear
CINNAMON TOAST CRUNCH CEREAL 1 1/2 cups of whole wheat flour 1 cup of oats finely ground 1/2cup of granulated sugar or brown sugar 1 tsp ground cinnamon 1/2 tsp Himalayan salt 110 gr cold butter 1/4 cup of cold water Melted butter to brush 1/4 cup of sugar 1 tbsp cinnamon Bake at 350°F for 12-15 min
I made a batch yesterday - so yummy! I put a handful in a bowl to nibble with a cup of coffee like crisps (I'm trying to reduce my dairy intake). I'm wondering if the basic recipe could be converted into a savoury biscuit using herbs & cheese, topped with something salty. Everything is so expensive nowadays, so I'm trying to make as many things as I can, including breakfast cereal, jams, condiments & various snacks etc. It's saving me quite a bit of time & money this way. I'm tired of trying to decide what to cook every night, so I prep all my favourite dishes (once a week), freeze them & reheat as desired. I love this channel - lots of great ideas.
I too am getting tired of prices going up, size and quality going down. I am trying to learn how to make everything I like eating so I only have to buy the basics. Good Luck!
@@MarLindaPerez-s1i I can recommend another good YT channel (linked to a website) that does a lot of baking basics - Bigger Bolder Baking. Find her baking basics page on the website. I've recently also found a good vegan YT channel called the Plant-Based School (I'll post a link) - he uses everyday regular ingredients. I do make my own milk using soaked oats & rice (about 250 ml each) with water - use a blender & then strain. I usually make 1 litre then freeze half as it doesn't seem to keep very long (I use this in my coffee or if a recipe calls for a little milk). Also the YT channel Baking with Shirley - check out her no eggs, no milk baking playlist. Good luck.
Oh wow, it looks just like the real thing lol, and I definitely gotta try this recipe! I love cinnamon toast crunch, and now I can make it homemade anytime 😀 thank you 😊
I love Your Channel so much! Amazing how many recipes you share with us. And this relaxing piano music during your videos… I love it. Keep it up your good work! ❤ Greetings from Frankfurt, Germany
These didn't last very long - all eaten in just 4 days! So handy to have on hand whever one feels like something sweet with coffee (or tea). I'm about to make a 2nd batch. I'm also going to try a savoury option (I like something sweet in the morning, but prefer savoury at night for some reason). In SA we make apricot jam biscuits using shortcrust pastry - you crumb together flour, sugar & butter, but keep some crump aside to go on top. You use the roll out pastry as a base (use a square tin), cover with a layer of jam - such as apricot - and then use the crumbs on top (press it down gently to keep it together but preserving some crumb). Bake at 180C for approx 15 min (until brown), allow to cool then cut into squares. I might make these using this base recipe (flour, oat flour, butter, sugar & spices (cinnamon & mixed spice is very nice). Tx for this awesome recipe. I still want to try your cocoa cereal breakfast recipe - we finally got a new oven so I can start baking again!

Made this today and I didn’t like it. I will try again with the following tweaks. 1.) more sugar in the base. I used jaggery powder which was not sweet enough. I am going to use brown sugar next time 2.) apple juice instead of water. Again helping the sweetness be more prominent because it def was not here 3.) it was dry so I think I made oil in the dough or melted butter in the dough 4.) get them supper thin, thick pieces won’t get crunch and they will come off more like a cinnamon graham cracker like mine did
