Now you guys are nothing but twist because even the Quran and Mohammad himself is a twist.
Qur'an once spoke about how Jesus in the womb of Mary'am his mother spoke and said "Blessed is the day i will be born, dead and also resdurrected"
And another place contradict it and Said "Christ the son of Mary'am did not died, Allah took him and make it look as though je was thr one crucified, but another man was crucified instead of him".
This a great blindfold to all muslim, and it is a great eyes openner to the wise that Qur'an is the book of twist msjorly written to fight bible.
How on earth one will wake up on day just to rewrites History that was glaring to the face of the whole natovity of humanity according to the jewish community who handed him over for crucification, all families of the earth tgete present wacting the whole scene and Romans government and their Soldiers who guided Jesus from the street of Jerusalem down to Golgotha where he was crucified could foolishly accept this dumb lies of Qur'an?
May Mohammad was on drugs when he first said Jesus prophesied and blessed his birth, death and ressurrection?
So how come he didnt died and resssurected again after you believe in his birth, what of his death and ressurrection he blessed and prophesied about?

Did Jesus come before prophet Muhammad?

With all respect, Dr Naik misrepresented the analogy that Jesus made about Jonah. Firstly, this very comparison that Jesus made,He was referring to His death and resurrection and not about something else. Secondly, Dr Naik misrepresented the analogy that Jesus made about Jonah being in the belly of the fish in the sense that the comparison was not about the state of Jonah when he was in the belly of the fish, but about the time(the duration). "Just as Jonah was in the fish 3 days and 3 nights, so the son of man will be in the heart of the earth (the tomb) 3 days and 3 nights". A careful study of the Bible and the Jewish calendar places Jesus exactly 3 days and 3 nights in the tomb before His resurrection. The Bible never says that Jesus died on a Friday, despite His death being celebrated on a Friday. Thirdly, if Jesus was not dead, then why was He in a tomb (or in the heart of the earth) according to this comparison that Dr Naik used ? Is that where people are placed when they are alive? Of course not. Jesus was talking about His impending death and subsequent resurrection when He made the comparison with Jonah

Tahmeed: Al-hamdu Lillah (All praises be to God)
Tahleel: Laa ilaha ill-Allah (There is no god but Allah)
Tasbeeh: Subhaan-Allah (Glory be to God)

      @michaal105 4 роки тому

@Dark Knight Gaming May I ask you this: Are you good enough for Allah to let you into heaven? Have you met the standard of righteousness he requires? This standard is something Jews, Christians and Muslims have in common and is expanded upon in the 10 commandments.
Would you consider yourself to be a good person?
How many lies have you told, and what do you call someone who lies? Have you ever stolen something, no matter how small, and what do you call someone who steals? Have you ever taken God's name in vain/blasphemed, even ‘OMG’? That’s taking the name of the God who gave you life and using it in the place of a cuss word - would you do that with your mother’s name? Have you ever dishonoured your parents? Jesus said whoever looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery in his heart. Have you ever looked with lust? Most people probably have broken all 5 of these commandments. I myself have. I’m not judging you but if you have done these things then you’re a lying, thieving, blasphemous, rebellious adulterer-at-heart by your own admission. That's only 5 of the 10 commandments. God is fully just so he must and will punish every and all sin (which is departure from/rebellion towards God and the conscience) when he judges us. He cannot simply cancel our debt and let us go, or else he would be unjust. If you went into the courtroom and said: ‘Yes Judge, I’ve done these things but I also give money to the Red Cross and volunteer at an old-age home. I try my best to love people’ the judge is not going to take that into consideration. You’ve broken the law; the good you’ve done won’t help at all on the day of judgement.
If he judges you by the moral law will you be innocent or guilty? Heaven or Hell? The answer is Hell. Doesn’t that concern you? But, fortunately, that is not God’s will. He is so loving and merciful, he made a way for you to be forgiven. The Son of God came down as a man, Jesus Christ, and lived a perfect, sinless life, so was the perfect sacrifice. He excruciatingly suffered and died on the cross to pay the FULL debt we owe because of sin; justice is fully done. You and I broke God's law and Jesus paid the fine in his life's blood, being resurrected again 3 days later. That’s why he said “It is finished” on the cross - in other words the debt has been paid. God has the payment ready to go for you. What you need to do is repent (recognising you are a sinner deserving God's punishment, turn to Him) and trust ALONE in Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins. Our works can do nothing as by the standard of God’s moral law we fail, but faith in him is enough to save us from all sin - past, present and future! Then though you have grievously offended God, he will forgive you and you will inherit eternal life being reborn in the Holy Spirit when you put your trust in the Lord and saviour. Too, you enter a covenant relationship with God - sonship, and truly I tell you your life will change in his presence. So repent and trust (i.e. Biblical faith), receive the free gift of grace.
At the moment, you’re like a man who’s about to jump off a 10 000-foot cliff and they are trying to save themselves by flapping their arms; that won’t help you. Trust and depend on the parachute. Jesus is the only one who is righteous enough to enter heaven; but the elect are covered by his righteousness; He and he alone is our qualification to get to heaven.
He redeemed me. God, The King of The Universe, came down as a man. He lived the first 30 years of his life as a poor carpenter then spent the next 3 preaching, healing and saving souls - all the while being persecuted, insulted and hated by his own people - and took the punishment to save our lives. It’s the most amazing love that anyone ever displayed. Christianity’s not just a religion. It's a pure, sweet relationship with God. Because of Jesus, I am now a son of God. He is my dad, and you can be his child too. God loves you. Will you let him come?

Lost and deceive? That's you in any case, you claim jesus was god and son of the father. If That's the case, why did he die on the cross? To die for a sins? When sin still spreads through the world. You can tell me he died for our sins, so that way the only way to get into heaven is through him. But life isn't that easy, this is a test. If anything, if you believed jesus was God. Following the Qur'an makes no sense, as jesus did not die once and ascended to heaven. What makes more sense, a god that dies. Or a god that doesn't. I'm not saying jesus is god, but by that logic. Islam portrays him better

and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Hashim has strong points, because many Christians don't understand the word of God clear enough to answer those questions. If a person does not take
the Holy Bible as the Word of God, then anything can be said against the Holy Bible. Here, Hashim is making statements with his own understanding.
His reasoning is very good, but his understanding of The God of Israel is not clear for him. I trust that he means well as I trust these Christians
also mean well. I will answer his Eternity question: If God is eternal, then he cannot die and resurrect; otherwise, he is not God. If Jesus died
and resurrected, then he cannot be God.
My Answer: When Jesus of Nazareth said that he came not to destroy, but to fulfil The Law and The Prophets - that is what he meant. In The Law,
The Torah, Moses foretold of a Prophet the The Lord was going to raise up (Deuteronomy 18:15-19) - and that prophet would speak the words that God
would put in his mouth. He will speak all that God would command him. - As The Prophet, Jesus of Nazareth was telling the Jewish leaders that he
was that Prophet that Moses spoke of - he then told them, if they did not believe in Moses, then how could they believe in HIM, because Moses did
speak of him (John 5:39-47; 7:15,16). In the book of Acts 3:22-23 the Apostle Peter confirms that Jesus of Nazareth is/was that Prophet foretold
by Moses. The Evangelist Stephen also confirms that Jesus of Nazareth was/is that Prophet foretold by Moses (Acts 7:37). [Moses was about 14-15
Centuries before the birth of Christ Jesus]
According to the Prophet Isaiah, there was going to be a Righteous Servant of The Lord that would die for the people. This Righteous Servant was
going to be acquainted with grief, and was going to be a man of sorrows. He was going to be wounded for the transgressions of THE PEOPLE, and he
was going to bruised for the iniquities of THE PEOPLE; and this SERVANT was going to receive stripes that would ultimately be for the healing of
THE PEOPLE. The chastisement of THE PEOPLE was going to be upon HIM. He would ultimately be cut off out of the land of the living for the benefit
of THE PEOPLE. (Isaiah 52:13-15, 53:1-12). As the Righteous Servant, he would take the place of the sin (via punishment of death) of THE PEOPLE.
[Isaiah was about 7-8 Centuries before the birth of Christ Jesus]. So the Righteous Servant spoken of by the Prophet Isaiah is the same Jesus of
Nazareth. The Apostle Paul (Saul of Tarsus) confirmed it in the Epistle to the Philippians 2:5-12: "Let this mind be in you, which was also in
Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the
form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death,
even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus
every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ
is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence,
work out your own salvation with fear and trembling." [The price of sin had to be paid, and Christ Jesus paid for the sin of Adam; and he paid
the price for sins of the Adam race. No man could earn his way by merit and be saved: it is by grace we are saved and not by merit or work; it is
the gift of God. This gift came with a price: and it was the death of Jesus Christ on the cross some 2000 years ago. If you want to say it was a
post or something else... that is beside the point: the point is that sin had to be dealt with, and Christ Jesus did it. As I have already mentioned
    about Isaiah 53:1-12)
"Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed? For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant,
and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. He is
despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed
him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded
for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like
sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and he was
afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression
of my people was he stricken. And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any
deceit in his mouth. Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall
see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand. He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be
satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. Therefore will I divide him a portion with the
    great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors;
and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors."
This is why Jesus Christ died: this was God's way in washing away sin and sins. The blood of Jesus Christ cleanses me from sin and all unrighteousness.
Believe...believe in God's Word. Don't be unbelieving, but believing.

First of all I start my words by saying as Jesus said( peace be upon you) see John 20:21 and as Muslims do when they greetings each others.
If you see Bible of nowadays, in the beginning, we will find that Genesis say there is only one God. Despite the fact in the introduction you will find Christian scholars want people to believe in trinity. If you go and ask people why you celebrate the birthday of Jesus Pease be ubon him in winter, ask them where is mentioned in Bible he was born in winter, in fact he was born according to Qur’an in summer, and Bible say this as well. And you can check it easily. If you go to Matthew chapter 12:38,you will find Jesus Pease be ubon him told them that his example like Jonah. And Jonah people they thought he was dead when they thrown him in the sea, but he was not and he was life three times as Jesus Pease be ubon him. If you go to John 7:6,He told his people that his time hasn't come yet. And the answer easy from Islam because he will come in the end of this world to Kill anticrist, and save Humanity. Just think about deeply *. If you see John 7:36,Jesus Pease be ubon him said (I'm going to him who sent me, you will seek me and you will not find me, where I am you cannot come) it is clear when they want to Kill him he will ascend, because they will seek for him and no place on the earth to find him. He is as Qur’an says God (Allah praise be to him) lift him up. And I can prove from Bible he is not the one who was on the cross, because Jesus Pease be ubon him he knew that he gonna crucified and he told his people, and as Christians believe he done this to remove the sins, but it was not correct, check Matthew 27:46,the person on the cross was crying God why you forsaken me! So if Jesus was ready to sacrifice by Himself for you, why he would say such words?! Like someone disappointed by his God, Ask yourself, that means it was not him on the cross.
Now I will prove you from Bible That there is Prophet has to come, and this Prophet is Mohammed peace be upon him, go to John 16:7,8,9,10,till 20,you can see clearly he was referring to someone has to come, some Christians people they think he was talking about holy spirit but this is not Correct, because if he was talking about holy spirit has to come that means he has no holy spirit inside him at that moment. Or he was fare away from holy spirit because he mentioned that if I don't go away, he will not come, and I will prove here in this context the spirit of truth means Prophet, If you see the book of revelation 4:6 (The seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth) so if you ask Christians they will say we have only one holy spirit, but according to Bible everything can be holy spirit Prophet also. If you check John 4:1,2,it is meant false prophets equal to false spirits and and Good prophets refers to Spirits of truth. So Jesus Pease be ubon him said something but people today say something else to convince their desires. See John 6:14,Jesus Pease be ubon him gave them an example about the leftover of the food, and people said (he is the Prophet who is to come) and it is compatible with Islam as it has the final book and last prophet. And I have seen many verses referring to Prophet has to come in Bible. But still Christians they don't want the truth *.
If you Go and see psalm 95:3...11, you will see it mentioned the 3:God is one as Islam say , 6:and the worship like bow down and kneel before the lord as Muslims do
7:we are the people of his pasture, as Muslims say we are his servants, 7 for forty years.. This number is the same when Prophet Mohammed peace be upon him received the revelation for first time. And if you check the next 96,oh sing to the lord a new song, is referring to a new language (Arabic) because this for first time a new language for Words of God. And if you see 13,(before the lord he comes) also refers to the last Prophet (Mohammed) because all what mentioned compatible with his character. And still many signs and hints in Bible refer to Islam and last prophet Mohammed peace be upon him but I will mention only few because no space for that. And more and more but no place to mention everything about the prophesy of Prophet Mohammed peace be upon him in Bible and check also psalm 98:7,8,9. And now I will show you how Jesus Pease be ubon was Prophet not God. If check you will see that in Bible all people who were chosen by God Bible call them Sons of God and the father refers to God. Because in that old language they referred to People as sons of God and to the God as Father, now see in Bible Mark 13:32,Jesus Pease be ubon him clearly mentions that he has no knowledge. And this means he was not God only Prophet like others, representing God on Earth. See John 7:16 he said (My teaching is not mine but he who has sent me (if anyone's will is to do God'sWill) that means he was only prophet as the previous as Qur’an say. Go and see John 20:17, Jesus said to her (do not cling on me, for he I have not yest ascended to the father, but Go to my brotherS and say to them Im ascending to my father and your father, to my God and your God. And this clearly shows that he was not God, it mentioned many times such verses. But people they don't want to open their eyes and see the truth. Go to Matthew 5:17(Do not think I have come to destroy they law or the Prophets, I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.
Now in the end I would like to say thank you for reading. And I advise my Christians friend to read Bible carefully. And not follow what people say follow what your book says. Because all what have changed in Bible and despite many things was deleted and added by people. But still many and many verses referring that Jesus Pease be ubon he was a Prophet and he was not die on the cross. I have read Bible a lot. I didn't see any single verse Jesus Pease be ubon him says I'm God and worship me. It is only people idea to take Him as a God. Jesus Pease be ubon him he is son of Mary, he has no father, and his birth was a miracle and his life, and we have the first Prophet Adam peace be upon him have no father and no mother, so consider please. And open your mind see the truth and believe in Allah and the last spirit of the truth Mohammed. It is mentioned in Qur’an what means that Jesus Pease be ubon him will witness against people who consider him as God, because he didn't say* read Bible carefully and you you will see Islam in his correct verses. Read Qur’an and you will see all answers to your questions in Bible. GOD cannot be human, human has an end, But God has no beginning and no end. Nothing can describe him, beyond our imagination, the Creator (Allah) praise be to him. We need him we are his creation Allah doesn't need us, The most powerful the wise... I can't describe. But I remind you from verse in Bible (I'm who I'm) if you read Bible you will understand what does it mean.
Islam believes in all prophets, from Adam, Noah ...Jesus And the last one is Mohammed peace be upon them all. And all books but we follow the last revelation Qur’an. All prophets they were came with one message to Worship one God (Allah),the only one Perfect. So please do not make your Prophet witness against you. Read and read Qur’an and you will understand why you are here in this land. GOD not like human needs to eat or sleep or get sick, he is the creator and he does not sleep or get tired or anything what you thing. He is we can't describe him. Praise be to him. So my Christian friends, I'm telling you I did not understand the meaning of life till I found Islam, I read everything I can read but I didn't feel like now when I'm a Muslim.when I'm a Muslim I feel this is the best Gift from God(Allah) so I advise to read about Islam from the Qur’an and hadiths not from what you see in the media or people who say we are Muslims and they don't know about Islam only name or people who use Islam as a way to control above others, so you read Qur’an and Islam and see by yourself the beauty of Islam. The religion of all prophets the religion of peace . And I finish up my word from a verse of Qur'an:
    Ayatul Kursi
    The Throne Verse (2:255)
Allahu laaa ilaaha illaa huwal haiyul qai-yoom; laa taakhuzuhoo sinatunw wa laa nawm; lahoo maa fissamaawaati wa maa fil ard; man zallazee yashfa'u indahooo illaa be iznih; ya'lamu maa baina aideehim wa maa khalfahum; wa laa yuheetoona beshai 'immin 'ilmihee illa be maa shaaaa; wasi'a kursiyyuhus samaa waati wal arda wa la ya'ooduho hifzuhumaa; wa huwal aliyyul 'azeem

AND THEY CRUCIFIED HIM, AND PARTED HIS GARMENTS, CASTING LOTS: THAT IT MIGHT BE FULFILLED WHICH WAS SPOKEN BY THE PROPHET, THEY PARTED MY GARMENTS AMONG THEMSELVES, AND UPON MY VESTURE DID THEY CAST LOTS 36. AND SITTING DOWN THEY WATCHED HIM THERE; 37. AND SET UP OVER HIS HEAD HIS ACCUSATION WRITTEN, THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS. 38. THEN WERE THERE TWO THIEVES CRUCIFIED WITH HIM, ONE ON THE RIGHT HAND, AND ANOTHER ON THE LEFT. 39. AND THEY THAT PASSED BY REVILED HIM, WAGING THEIR HEADS, 40. AND SAYING, THOU THAT DESTROYEST THE TEMPLE, AND BUILDEST IN IN THREE DAYS, SAVE THYSELF.IF THOU BE THE SON OF GOD, COME DOWN FROM THE CROSS. 41. LIKEWISE ALSO THE CHIEF PRIESTS MOCKING HIM,WITH THE SCRIBES AND ELDERS, SAID, 42. HE SAVED OTHERS; HIMSELF HE CANNOT SAVE.IF HE BE THE KING OF ISRAEL, LET HIM NOW COME DOWN FROM THE CROSS, AND WE WILL BELIEVE HIM. 45. NOW FROM THE SIXTH OUR THERE WAS DARKNESS OVER ALL LAND UNTO THE NINTH HOUR. 46. AND ABOUT THE NINTH HOUR JESUS CRIED WITH A LOUD VOICE,SAYING, ELI, ELI, LAMA SABACHTANI? THAT IS TO SAY MY GOD, MY GOD, WHY HAST THOU FORSAKEN ME? 50. JESUS, WHEN HE HAD CRIED AGAIN WITH A LOUD VOICE, YIELDED UP THE GHOST. 51. AND, BEHOLD, THE VEIL OF THE TEMPLE WAS RENT IN TWO FROM THE TOP TO THE BOTTOM; AND THE EARTH DID QUAKE, AND THE ROCKS RENT; 52. AND THE GRAVES WERE OPENED; AND MANY BODIES OF THE SAINTS WHICH SLEPT AROSE, 53. AND CAME OUT OF THE GRAVES AFTER HIS RESURRECTION,AND WENT INTO THE HOLY CITY, AND APPEARED UNTO MANY. 54. NOW WHEN THE CENTURION, AND THEY THAT WERE WITH HIM, WATCHING JESUS, SAW THE EARTHQUAKE, AND THOSE THINGS THAT WERE DONE, THEY FEARED GREATLY, SAYING, TRULY THIS WAS THE SON OF GOD. 55. AND MANY WOMEN WERE THERE BEHOLDING FAR OFF, WHICH FOLLOWED JESUS FROM GALILEE, MINISTERING UNTO HIM: 56.:AMONG WHICH WAS MARY MAGDALENE, AND MARY THE MOTHER OF JAMES AND JOHN, AND THE MOTHER OF ZEBEDEE'S CHILDREN. 57. WHEN THE EVENING HAD COME, THERE CAME A RICH MAN OF ARIMATHAEA, NAMED JOSEPH, WHO ALSO HIMSELF WAS JESUS DESCIPLE: 58. HE WENT TO PILATE, AND BEGGED THE BODY OF JESUS. THEN PILATE COMMANDED THE BODY TO BE DELIVERED. 59. AND WHEN JOSEPH HAD TAKEN THE BODY, HE WRAPPED IT IN A CLEAN LINEN CLOTH, 60. AND LAID IT IN HIS OWN TOMB, WHICH HE HAD HEWN OUT IN THE ROCK: AND HE ROLLED A GREAT STONE TO THE DOOR OF THE SEPULCHRE, AND DEPARTED. 61.AND THERE WAS MARY MAGDALENE, AND THE OTHER MARY, SITTING OVER AGAINST THE SEPULCHRE. 62. NOW THE NEXT DAY, THAT FOLLOWED THE DAY OF THE PREPARATION, THE CHIEF PRIESTS AND PHARISEES CAME TOGETHER UNTO PILATE, 63. SAYING, SIR, WE REMEMBER THAT THAT DECEIVER SAID, WHILE HE WAS YET ALIVE, AFTER THREE DAYS I WILL RISE AGAIN. 64. COMMAND THEREFORE THAT THE SEPULCHRE BE MADE SURE UNTIL THE THIRD DAY, LEST HIS DESCIPLES COME BY NIGHT, AND STEAL HIM AWAY, AND SAY UNTO THE PEOPLE, HE IS RISEN FROM THE DEAD: SO THE LAST ERROR SHALL BE WORST THAN THE FIRST. 65. PILATE SAID UNTO THEM, YOU HAVE A WATCH: GO YOUR WAY, MAKE IT AS SURE AS YOU CAN. 66. SO THEY WENT, AND MADE THE SEPULCHRE SURE, SEALING THE STONE, AND SETTING A WATCH.

MATTHEW 28:1-20. IN THE END OF THE SABBATH, AS IT BEGAN TO DAWN TOWARD THE FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK, CAME MARY MAGDALENE AND THE OTHER MARY TO SEE THE SEPULCHRE. 2 AND, BEHOLD THERE WAS A GREAT EARTHQUAKE: FOR THE ANGEL OF THE LORD DESCENDED FROM HEAVEN, AND CAME AND ROLLED BACK THE STONE FROM THE DOOR, AND SAT UPON IT. 3. HIS COUNTENANCE WAS LIKE LIGHTING, AND HIS RAIMENT WHITE AS SNOW: 4. AND FOR FEAR OF HIM THE KEEPERS DID SHAKE, AND BECAME AS DEAD MEN. 5.;AND THE ANGEL ANSWERED AND SAID UNTO THE WOMEN, FEAR NOT YOU: FOR I KNOW THAT YOU SEEK JESUS, WHICH WAS CRUCIFIED. 6. HE IS NOT HERE: FOR HE IS RISEN, AS HE SAID. COME, SEE THE PLACE WHERE THE LORD LAY. 7. AND GO QUICKLY, AND TELL HIS DISCIPLES THAT HE IS RISEN FROM THE DEAD; AND, BEHOLD, HE GOES BEFORE YOU INTO GALILEE; THERE YOU SHALL SEE HIM: LO, I HAVE TOLD YOU. 8. AND THEY DEPARTED QUICKLY FROM THE SEPULCHRE WITH FEAR AND GREAT JOY; AND DID RUN TO BRING HIS DISCIPLES WORD. 9. AND AS THEY WENT TO TELL HIS DESCIPLES , BEHOLD, JESUS MET THEM, SAYING, ALL HAIL. AND THEY CAME AND HELD HIM BY FEET, AND WORSHIPPED HIM. 10. THEN SAID JESUS UNTO THEM, BE NOT AFRAID: GO AND TELL MY BRETHREN THAT THEY GO UNTO GALILEE, AND THERE SHALL SEE ME. 11. NOW WHEN THEY WERE GOING, BEHOLD, SOME OF THE WATCH CAME INTO THE CITY, AND SHOWED UNTO THE PRIESTS ALL THE THINGS THAT WERE DONE. 12. AND WHEN THEY WERE ASSEMBLED WITH THE ELDERS, AND HAD TAKEN COUNSEL, THEY GAVE LARGE MONEY UNTO THE SOLDIERS, 13. SAYING, SAY YOU, HIS DISCIPLES CAME BY NIGHT, AND STOLE HIM AWAY WHILE WE SLEPT.14. AND IF THIS COME TO THE GOVERNOR'S EARS, WE WILL PERSUADE HIM, AND SECURE YOU. 15. SO THEY TOOK THE MONEY, AND DID AS THEY WERE TAUGHT: AND THIS SAYING IS COMMONLY REPORTED AMONG THE JEWS UNTIL THIS DAY. 16. THEN THE ELEVEN DISCIPLES WENT AWAY INTO GALILEE , INTO A MOUNTAIN WHERE JESUS HAD APPOINTED THEM. 17. AND WHEN THEY SAW HIM, THEY WORSHIPPED HIM: BUT SOME DOUBTED. 18 AND JESUS CAME AND SPOKE UNTO THEM, SAYING, ALL POWER IS GIVEN UNTO ME IN HEAVEN AND IN EARTH. 19. GO YOU THEREFORE, AND TEACH ALL NATIONS, BAPTIZING THEM IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER,AND OF THE SON, AND OF THE HOLY GHOST. 20. TEACHING THEM RO OBSERVE ALL THINGS WHATSOEVER I HAVE COMMANDED YOU: AND, LO, IAM WITH YOU ALWAYS, EVEN UNTO THE END OF THE WORLD. AMEN

Blasphemy is calling urself God or son of God . Which Jesus did and made jews angry and was crucified .so what was the point of Jesus giving them example about jonah. Jesus was saying he will be crucified and raised on 3rd day . Why they were put on cross in case if they just stole something.. they didn't do any balsphemy. Then why they were put on cross???

Yes, Christ was crucified for us all. The Quran acknowledges the importance of Christian and Jewish texts. So what is the issue? Christ came to die for everyone because he loved humankind that much. Secondly, the Church compiled the Bible with the divine inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, it can only be understood through the proper interpretation of the Orthodox Church.

On this faithful Resurrection Sunday we need to remember a verse that is most misunderstood by many believers, and often used by Muslims to disprove that Christ rose from the dead, as prophesied.
The verse is Matthew 12:38-40; and it reads thus:
Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee. But he answered and said unto them, an evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas; for as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
Most people believe the sign and miracle is that Jonah, having been swallowed by a big fish, remained alive for three days and three nights and then was vomited on the shores of Neneveh on the 3rd day!
If this is what happened, then like Jonah, Jesus did not die and therefore did not rise from the dead. The only way for the analogy to "hold water" and prove that Jesus did die, was buried and arose on the 3rd day is to believe that Jonah was also dead for 3 days and 3 nights in the belly of the whale. So, the question is, Did Jonah die? The answer is an unequivocal YES!
Like millions of Christians I had always erroneously believed that the Jonah miracle was that he lived for 3 days and 3 nights in the belly of the whale. If you are reading this and you profess Christ, this is what you have been taught. I have learned by a revelation of the Spirit that this is not what happened!
One day, while riding with a brother to pick up members who needed a ride to church, I heard a small still voice thus: "Did you know that Jonah died and was raised from the dead?"! I looked around to see who was talking. We were only two in the church van, and I knew it wasn't Minister Karl Jones, the driver. So, I told Minister Karl Jones guess what I just heard the Spirit say: that Jonah died and was raised from the dead. To confirm this, I quickly opened my Bible to the story of Jonah and there it was staring at me in Jonah Chapter 2:5-7! Let us read:
"5-The waters compassed me about, even to the soul: The depth closed me round about; the weeds were wrapped about my head. 6-I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; The earth with her bars was about me for ever: Yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O LORD my God. 7-When my soul fainted within me I remembered the LORD: And my prayer came in unto thee, into thine holy temple.
Do you see it? Jonah was dead for 3 days and 3 nights and was raised on the 3rd day exactly like Jesus. He says in Jonah 2:7 thus: When my soul fainted within me I remembered the LORD: And my prayer came in unto thee, into thine holy temple.
According to this verse, Jonah prayed while dead. If he was dead, how did he pray, skeptical Muslims will ask!
To understand and appreciate this, you must have a revelation knowledge of the real man. According to Isaiah 42:5; Zachariah 12:1; Matthew 10:28; I Thessalonians 5:23, man is a Spirit, lives in house (the body), and has a soul (mind, will, emotion). So, like Jesus, Jonah's physical body was dead, but the spirit which never dies was the Jonah that prayed. How is this possible, you wonder! Read the story of Lazarus, the begger, and the rich man (Luke 16:19-31). Notice, the rich man died and was buried. While dead and in torment he (spirit and soul) prayed to Abraham to send Lazarus to quech his agonizing thirst. So, can a man pray while dead? Absolutely! Did Jonah pray while dead? Absolutely!
To conclude, the Miracle in the Jonah's Whale University story is that Jonah was swallowed, died for 3 days and 3 nights and like Jesus was physically brought back to life, not in a glorified body, but in his natural body to preach to over 136,000 Nenevites!
Like Jonah, my Savior and your Savior, Yeshua (Jesus), died, was buried, but Hallelujah, He arose on the 3rd day and is alive forevermore!
If you are a Muslim or profess Islam, you have been terribly deceived to believe a lie that will send you and your family to hell forever! Jesus (Yeshua) is the God who created everything, including the Archangel Michael (a thought for Jehovah's Witnesses), took on flesh and became a man (John 1:1-14 ) to pay a price He did not owe to cancel a debt we could not pay. The debt was SIN, a noxious virus worst than leprosy that condemns every soul to everlasting flames forever.
THANK GOD, THANK GOD, THERE IS A WAY! NO, NO, NO, it is not thru Buddha or his dad, not thru Bahawullah, hallow and now dead, not thru Confucius, who became confused and is dead, not thru Mohammad who became mad, was poisoned, and is dead, not thru the 7th Day Adventists, who believe Sunday worship is the "Mark of the Beast", not thru the Mormons, who believe Jesus is but one of the many Ascended Masters; not thru Jehovah's Witnesses, who believe Jesus was the Archangel Michael and that only 144,000 will go to heaven, and Abraham, Isaac, & Jacob (the fathers of the Faith) will not be among the 144,000!
The only way is Yeshua (Jesus)! He emphatically and unequivocally said: I am the way, the truth, and the life! No man comes to the Father, but by me (John 14:6)!
Roman's 10:9-10 says: If you confess the LORD Jesus and believe in your heart that God, the Father has raised Him from the dead, thou SHALL be saved. The "SHALLS" of God are loaded, someone once said! So, believe that Jesus is Lord (meaning He is God), vocalize it in faith, and believe that God the Father raised Him from the dead and you SHALL be saved!

This argument is exactly what keeps me from embracing Islam and being a Muslim.
Not only does the Bible teach that Jesus died by crucifixion, but Jesus Himself predicted multiple times that He would be handed over, be killed by crucifixion and then rise again from the dead. The Jonah analogy is simply a reference that in the same way Jonah was cut off from the outside world before returning, Jesus would be in the tomb cut off from the outside world, before He returns.
Moreover, Jewish, pagan, and even liberal and sceptical scholars such as Josephus, Tacitus, Suetonius, Mara Bar Serapion, the Jewish Talmud, Gerd Ludemann, John Dominic Crossan, Marcus Borg, Paula Frederiksen and Bart Ehrman all unanimously agree that Jesus died by crucifixion.
Further still, if we go against the fact that Jesus never died on the cross, then all I can conclude from this is that Allah is a comic trickster who lies and dupes people and basically started Christianity! Why didn't Allah simply step in and stop the Christian teachings being spread? Why did it take Him 600 years to send Muhammad in and rewrite the facts? Not only is this completely and entirely wrong on a historical level but it's also utterly inconsistent and deceitful.
In short: I remain a follower of Jesus not only because I'm a Christian, but also because of the firmly established historical evidence that Jesus lived, was crucified and rose again.
Jesus Christ is the Son of God and I am not ashamed to follow Him as my Lord, Saviour and King!

Jesus was not comparing the story of Jonah in regards to life or death. He was simply illustrating that He will be in the tomb for 3 days. He mentions nothing like "Similar to how Jonah was ALIVE in the whale for 3 days and 3 nights, so shall The Son of Man be ALIVE in the tomb for 3 days and 3 nights".. NO. He only addressed the number of days each of them were in these particular locations. He does not say anything about life or death. So many differences in these stories too. Dr. Zakir Naik states that Jonah was turning from God's direction... this is true. However, Jesus was accomplishing God's will during His time on the cross and in the tomb. The whale was alive, the tomb is not a living thing.... and so on and so forth.
I was honestly hoping that Dr. Zakir Naik's answer was going to show me something real and compelling for the Islamic faith. I was hoping his answer was going to make me think "huh... didn't think of that." or "Wow... I didn't know that."... But no. I don't think I will ever understand why the Quran tells a different story about Jesus' crucifixion. From some Muslims I've spoken with; if the Quran actually stated that Jesus died on the cross, it wouldn't affect the Islamic faith. But, the fact that it goes out of its way to make this ridiculous claim is beyond me. It simply paints a picture of a religion trying to steer people away from the truth. It's the main thing in the Quran that will never make sense to me. There's other things in that book that don't make sense either, but this is one of the major ones.

    the crusifixion of jesus christ.
john 19:18-27 So the soldiers took charge of Jesus. 17 Carrying his own cross, he went out to the place of the Skull (which in Aramaic is called Golgotha). 18 There they crucified him, and with him two others-one on each side and Jesus in the middle.
19 Pilate had a notice prepared and fastened to the cross. It read: jesus of nazareth, the king of the jews. 20 Many of the Jews read this sign, for the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city, and the sign was written in Aramaic, Latin and Greek. 21 The chief priests of the Jews protested to Pilate, “Do not write ‘The King of the Jews,’ but that this man claimed to be king of the Jews.”
22 Pilate answered, “What I have written, I have written.”
23 When the soldiers crucified Jesus, they took his clothes, dividing them into four shares, one for each of them, with the undergarment remaining. This garment was seamless, woven in one piece from top to bottom.
24 “Let’s not tear it,” they said to one another. “Let’s decide by lot who will get it.”
This happened that the scripture might be fulfilled that said,
“They divided my clothes among them
and cast lots for my garment.”[a]
So this is what the soldiers did.
25 Near the cross of Jesus stood his mother, his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. 26 When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to her, “Woman,[b] here is your son,” 27 and to the disciple, “Here is your mother.” From that time on, this disciple took her into his home.

Let's take a look at those verses one by one:
      1. **Psalm 118:17** - "I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord."

This verse is often interpreted as a declaration of faith and trust in God's protection. It doesn't specifically refer to Jesus or the crucifixion.
      2. **Psalm 41:2** - "The Lord will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies."
This verse speaks about God's protection over the righteous. Again, it doesn't directly reference Jesus or the events of the crucifixion.
      3. **Luke 13:33** - "Nevertheless, I must walk today and tomorrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem."
This verse is part of Jesus' teaching and indicates that He must continue His mission despite the dangers. It doesn't deny His eventual crucifixion but rather emphasizes His commitment to His mission.
In the New Testament, there are clear accounts of Jesus' crucifixion, death, and resurrection, particularly in the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John). For example, in **John 19:30**, it says, "When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, 'It is finished,' and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit." This is a direct account of Jesus' death on the cross.
So, while the verses provided might be interpreted in different ways, the New Testament provides clear accounts of Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection. It's always good to look at the context and the entire narrative when interpreting scripture.

*Harmonising the Quranic and Biblical account of the "crucifixion" of Jesus*
The only clear takeaways from Surah 5 verses 157-58 of the Quran are that the Jews failed to kill Jesus and failed to "crucify" him though it appeared to them they succeeded. Yet they still had some doubt on whether they succeeded in killing and crucifying him, have no certain knowledge on the matter and that God raised him onto himself.
Now if we take the reference to the denial that they crucified him to mean they didnt kill him via crucifixion (so an emphasis point, a denial he was debased in death as death via crucifixion in late antiquity was seen as debasement) then a plausible reading of the verses that seeks harmony with the gospels is that it wasnt the crucifixion that caused his death but rather Jesus yielding his spirit to God and God taking his soul up to heaven prior to a "natural" death due to injury. This is supported by another verse in the Quran which says God will cause Jesus to die and raise him onto himself (assumed by most to mean at the end of times but the verse doesn't specify this). This squares up well with the Gospel accounts that suggest Jesus yielded his spirit to God and has Pontius Pilate marvelling at his quick death, indicating an "unnatural" death had occured there.
Thus on this reading the explicit Quranic account is not undermined: The boastful Jews thought they had succeeded in killing him but in fact failed to do so as they were not the cause of his death (the literal definition of killing). Yet this was not visible to them so they assumed he died a "natural" death via crucifixion and therefore had succeeded in killing him. In reality his soul ascended to heaven via his own volition.
With respect to the Jews doubting they had succeeded, a number of points need to be made on plausible readings. First, perhaps they were suffering from cognitive dissonance between what their eyes saw (a dead Jesus via crucifixion) and how quickly he seemed to die (similar to Pontius Pilate). Second, according to Islamic doctrine , the Jews knew Jesus was their Messiah from God (they call him the Messiah, the messenger of Allah in this verse). Perhaps they harboured lingering doubts that they in fact succeeded in killing such a prominent divinely selected figure (cue Old Testament prophecies on the Messiah). And perhaps they heard chatter he was seen alive sometime after. Allahu A'lam.
With respect to Jesus being raised from the dead, the Quran makes no mention of this, either in affirmation or rejection so it cannot be categorically said to be false (we can speculate on why it would be omitted). What it does say is that God countered the Jewish attempt at killing him by raising him unto himself. This could be both literal (raising to heaven, also consistent with some gospel accounts) and metaphorical (Jesus status was elevated as Imam Al Razi states). This reading in no way refutes that he yielded his spirit to the heavens and was reserructed 3 days later. Omission=/= contradiction.
In sum, If we read the two verses in the context of the preceding verses, they are clearly a polemical attack on the rebellious Jews who boasted that they had once again controverted the divine by killing their Messiah from him. The point is that they failed at doing so and Jesus was elavated in rank and to heaven. Detailed explanation on *how* they failed and all the details that followed (including whether Jesus in fact had died via other means) is not the focus here. That regardless of what happened, Jesus and ultimately God won (and in the Sunnah Jesus will return victorious) and the rebellious Jews lost. (The reading that Jesus yielded his spirit and God seized it is consistent with this) Is this not the ultimate message of verses 157-158? That they planned and Allah Planned and Allah is the best of planners?

What you have posted is only partially true; not all. You said:
_then a plausible reading of the verses that seeks harmony with the gospels is that it wasnt the crucifixion that caused his death but rather Jesus yielding his spirit to God and God taking his soul up to heaven prior to a "natural" death due to injury._
This is just your own assumption, You have just made this story. Read below what is the truth:
1- Quran 4:157 never denies nailing of Jesus on the Cross but Quran powerfully rejects Crucifixion of Jesus which means: he did not die on the Cross=Not Crucified Wa Ma Salabuhu because DEATH on Cross is a Binding Condition of Crucifixion
2- If verses of Luke and Gospel of John are not twisted, these both Gospel also tell us that even after the incident of Cross, Jesus was very much alive, and according to these two Gospels, even after the incident of Cross, Jesus had over 12 meetings with his disciples, and during those meetings, he was showing his wounds to them, the wounds which he took while was on Cross. He told disciples, touch my wounds with your hands to assure them that he is neither a ghost nor a spirit. He also ate with them broiled fish and Spirit does not eat fish.
We read in Gospel of John, that When body of Jesus was removed from the Cross just after 6 hours (death on cross takes 2 to 6 days); Joseph of Arimathea and Dr. Nicodemus took his body to an empty tomb which was located in garden of Rich Man Joseph of Arimathea. They were seen carrying Aloe Vera, and other healing herbs which are not used on dead body but are used to treat Injuries. After three days, Jesus was able to come out of tomb. He came out and hid as Gardner so that Roman should not arrest him again. But Mary Magdalene recognized Jesus from his Voice. This makes clear that Jesus survived death on the Cross, nor he died at that time naturally AS YOU HAVE POSTED.
3- Several Top Bible Scholars have written that by a Plan, Jesus was drugged on the Cross to send him in deep Coma, so that he should appear as dead. So Jesus survived death on Cross.
4 (a) Beautiful Quran explain itself, and word RAFA of 4:158 is used in several other verses and its meaning are TO RAISE in Honor or Spiritual Exaltation; not to raise human body to Sky. Body is made of Dust and it Returns to dust. Only Ruh is raised after death 3:55, 32:11.
4(b) Several top bible scholars are in agreement that there is no any reference of Bodily Ascension and Return of Jesus in oldest copies of Four Gospels. This hoax was blended in Gospels much later.
5- Sunni and Shia translators tamper translation of 4:159, and 43:61 too. In 4:159, word Moute-hi points toward death of every Kitaabi; not toward future death of Jesus. In 43:61, no any name Jesus appears. in 43:61, pronoun INNA-HU points toward Quran; not toward Jesus. That same pronoun is used in several other verses of Quran for Quran.
6: According to 3:144, Jesus has been died naturally (not on Cross). Quran 5:110>Kahlan indicates that Jesus lived over 90 years age, and died naturally in 5:116-117 and dead never return.
7- Secular (non Religious) Research shows that Jesus died at age 120.
8- A report is mentioned in over 25 well-known ancient books of Sunni sect that Prophet Mohammad told his daughter Fatimah, that I will have half life of Jesus. Because Jesus died at 120, so I will die at 60. There are reports that he died at 63 but there are about six reports in Bukhari, Muwatta and other Sunni books which show that prophet died at 60 (not 63)
9- Our team has done research on the life of Jesus for over 40 years. You are suggested to read our 4 webpages on the life of Jesus. These pages are the Best pages on this subject

First of all, you should learn what is the definition of the punishment which is called Crucifixion, and that is: *To kill a person after binding him or nailing him on the Cross. So DEATH on the Cross is a binding condition of the punishment which is called Crucifixion. If Person is nailed on Cross and he DIED on Cross; then he is CRUCIFIIED=SALABUH but if person is nailed on Cross but he was removed from Cross before his death; then he is not Crucified=Wa Ma salabuhu, and these are the words which Quran has used in 4:157.*
*All Gospels, Apocrypha, historical records and even Tibetans scrolls show that Jesus was indeed nailed on Cross. But he did not die on Cross. All records cannot be wrong. And Quran also never denies nailing of Jesus on Cross but Quran denies his Crucifixion which means: he did not die on the Cross.*
In verse 4:158, word RAFA is used which means: TO RAISE. But what kind of RAISE? In same Quran, we see several other verses in which same word RAFA is used for TO RAISE IN HONOR/Spiritual Exaltation. It never means: to raise body of Jesus to Sky. In Hadith Literature we also find usage of word RAFA which means: to RAISE IN HONOR.
We read in Quran 32:11 and 20:55 that after death, Body made of dust returns to dust (never goes to Sky), and after death, only Ruh is raised. Same is written in Torah Genesis 3:19 that Man is made of Dust and he will return to Dust (will not go to sky).
For in depth discussion on this subject, you are suggested to read our pages on Jesus.
How was that hoax of Ascension and Return spread among Muslims?
They were agnostic Christians who spread this fable that Jesus was replaced by someone on Cross. Later that Fable infused in concocted Hadith books and then in the heads of Imams.
When we read oldest available copies of 4 gospels; we do not find there any story of Ascension an return of Jesus. This fable was blended in Gospels by Church much later in order to show new converts that Pauline Dogma is a supernatural dogma. Later, this fable became part of fabricated hadiths. *Word SHUBBIHA of 4:157 confirms 100% that Jesus was indeed on Cross but he did not die on Cross=Not Crucified.*
      Shubbiha=Resembled.
On Cross, when Jesus was in deeeep coma; he *Resembled* a dead person who has been killed on the Cross but he was still alive; and later was resuscitated, and then he secretly immigrated to East as is mentioned in ancient copy of Gospel of Mark and also in Restored Gospel of Nazarene which tells: he immigrated to East of Parthian Empire. Just see 2000 years old map of Parthian empire.
We read in over 30 well-known Ancient Books of Sunni sect that Prophet Mohammad said: Jesus died at age 120. And Secular (Impartial non-Religious) research also shows that he died at 120. In Quran 5:110, for the age of Jesus, word Kahlan is used. Sectarian translators tamper translation of this word in order to support their fables but when we read ancient hadith literature, we find that age of Kahlan is that age when human skin starts to putrefy, which means over 90
*To Sum up: What is the Truth?*
Jesus was biological son of Joseph and Mary. Nowhere Quran tells that Jesus was born without human father but Sectarian translators twist and wrongly extrapolate Quranic verses. Quran tells that all humans are product of male and female 49:13, Verse 66:12 shows: Mary was a married woman Ahsanat>Muhsanat=Married Women. Earlier followers of Jesus Essene/Ebionites believed that Jesus was biological son of Joseph and Mary. Over 10 verses in 4 Gospels also tell that he was son of Mary and Joseph
Jesus was a mortal man like Mohammad was a Mortal man 18:110, 5:75. Both were Prophets of God. They preached Divine Message and they both died, and dead never return 10:46, 3:144, 5:75, 5:116-117

If Jesus was only a prophet and didnot die on the cross then:
      A) why would Allah allow someone to appear like Jesus to be on the cross and thereby mislead billions of people who lived and died as Christians and they be cast into hell for committing shirk?
Since allah is all knowing and all wise, couldn't he come up with a better plan??
      B) Why did Jesus while on the cross (or the guilty person on the cross resembling Jesus) say the following :
      a) And now Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began (John 17:5)
      b) Forgive the sins of the good thief and say to him, that he will with him in paradise today. (Luke 23:43)
      c) Father, forgive them, for they donot know what they're doing (Luke 23: 34).
How can a guilty person possibly say this? I.e. if It wasn't Jesus on the cross, then whoever was on the cross had to be a guilty person (like Judas for eaxmple). Why on earth would a deceitful Judas pray for forgiveness of his murderers and not forgiveness for his own sins??

To say that Jesus didn’t die because Jonah didn’t die is false. Jesus was only referring to the time he would spend in the grave and did not imply that he wouldn’t die.
Jesus predicted his death and resurrection on various occasions.
Mark 8:31 He then began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and after three days rise again.
Luke 9:22 And he said, "The Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life."
John 23 19 Jesus answered them, "Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days." 20 They replied, "It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and you are going to raise it in three days?" 21 But the temple he had spoken of was his body.
    Matthew 27:63
“the chief priests and the Pharisees went to Pilate. 63 "Sir," they said, "we remember that while he was still alive that deceiver said, 'After three days I will rise again.' 64 So give the order for the tomb to be made secure until the third day.

@jesusisfalsegodfalsesaviou9114 My dear friend, Jonah Drowned / DIED in the sea! You only have to read Jonah chapter 2
Jonah said in his prayer when he was in the fish after his life had been restored to him (Jonah Chapter 2 verse 1), “…From deep in the realm of the dead I called for help, and you listened to my cry.” If you are deep in the realm of the dead, you are dead. The realm of the dead is the grave.
In verse 3 he says, “You hurled me into the depths, into the very heart of the seas,” “The very heart of the seas” is the same as the “very heart of the earth” This is a place of no return.
In verse 6 he says, “To the roots of the mountains I sank down; the earth beneath barred me in forever.” If you are at the bottom of the sea (the very heart of the seas) and are “barred in the earth for ever” then you are dead. There is no way back.
BUT God heard his cry and brought him back to life. In verse 6 he says, “But you, LORD my God, brought my life up from the pit.” The pit is the grave, and if you are in the pit then you are dead but God in his mercy heard his cry while his life was “ebbing away” and brought him back to life and provided a big fish to carry him back from the ocean floor to the beach.
By quoting the sign of Jonah, Zakir Naik shoots himself in the foot and unintentionally proves that Jesus died and rose again just like Jonah.

jesus christ predicted his death and resurection everywhere in the 4 gospels Matthew 16:21-23: From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day.
Mark 8:31-33: And He began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again. He spoke this word openly.
Luke 9:21-22: And He strictly warned and commanded them to tell this to no one, saying, “The Son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day.”[3]
Matthew 17:22-23: Now while they were staying in Galilee, Jesus said to them, “The Son of Man is about to be betrayed into the hands of men, and they will kill Him, and the third day He will be raised up.” And they were exceedingly sorrowful.[4]
Mark 9:30-32: Then they departed from there and passed through Galilee, and He did not want anyone to know it. For He taught His disciples and said to them, “The Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of men, and they will kill Him. And after He is killed, He will rise the third day.” But they did not understand this saying, and were afraid to ask Him.[5]
Luke 9:43-45: But while everyone marveled at all the things which Jesus did, He said to His disciples, “Let these words sink down into your ears, for the Son of Man is about to be betrayed into the hands of men.” But they did not understand this saying, and it was hidden from them so that they did not perceive it; and they were afraid to ask Him about this saying.[6]
Matthew 20:17-19: Now Jesus, going up to Jerusalem, took the twelve disciples aside on the road and said to them, “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and to the scribes; and they will condemn Him to death, and deliver Him to the Gentiles to mock and to scourge and to crucify. “I said not to them except what You commanded me - to worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord. And I was a witness over them as long as I was among them; but when You took me up, You were the Observer over them, and You are, over all things, Witness.”
“You took me up” does not mean Jesus A.S died it mean he was ascended to heaven without dying. Moreover, majority Muslim scholars and Quran translator agree with phrase “took me up”
Secondly, Jesus AS did not die for Muhammad SAW he SAW wasn’t alive when Jesus AS died.
Lastly, unlike Christian we never claimed Jesus AS or Muhammad SAW to be divine/apotheosis. Hence, they both were human potential of making error/mistake or sin which we (there followers) may not identify there error/mistake or sin; including themselves but Allah SWT is “knower of unseen” “All-knowing”.Furthermore, they AS and SAW are not angel or god, who are free from error/mistake or sin.

Brother Sage of Synergism I need to clarify something about trinity, Assuming Jesus is god Or son of god then how did he died during Crucifixion because he is co-eternal and co-independent, isn’t this contradiction of what Christian believe? Moreover, Christian should agree with us that “Jesus did not die” for him to called as “god” or “son of god”.

About Jesus crucifixion of Jesus I will get back to you in minute.
As for you about shirk when we bow down we say glorifying God سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْأعْلَى‎ but when we sit we recite
This translates as: "Salutations to God and prayers and good deeds. Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of God and his blessings. Peace be on us and on the righteous servants of God. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His messenger."
The first part “Salutations to God and prayers and good deeds” was said by Muhammad SAW to allah SWT during his time of isra wal miraj and continuing greeting “O Prophet, and the mercy of God and his blessings. Peace be on us and on the righteous servants of God” was said by Allah SWT to Muhammad SAW and to his follower

3:50 - silly, no Muslim or Christian thinks that the soul/spirit ceases to exist after death. When Jesus died on the cross he descended to the abode of the dead (belly of the fish) and preached to those in the Bosom of Abraham before his resurrection.

  • @BardOfShwa
    @BardOfShwa 4 роки тому +7

"What Jesus preached was nothing but Islam. He never preached Christianity."
Dr. Naik either hasn't read his Bible carefully, or is lying about what it says. Jesus preached *many* things that are un-Islamic (examples are below). That's why Muslims like Dr. Naik insist that the Bible was corrupted (even though there's no actual textual evidence that it was corrupted in the way they seem to think).
"The word 'Christianity' doesn't exist in the Bible."
Irrelevant. The word "Christianity" is a label that describes what *is* taught in the Bible--much of which is incompatible with Islam. It's similar to the word "Tawhid"--the word doesn't exist in the Qur'an, but Muslims still believe in it.
"It was only made to appear so."
Who made it appear so, Dr. Naik? Most Muslims believe that Allah made it to appear so. This presents a serious problem, because *everyone* , including Jesus' followers *and* his enemies believed that Jesus died on the cross. Jesus' followers made his death and resurrection the whole point of their belief. According to Surah 4:157, then, Allah made it to appear to them that Jesus died on the cross, and in so doing, convinced them of a false religion called Christianity that has led people away from Islam for 2 000 years. This makes Allah a liar. But the true God does not lie--and Jesus really *did* die on the cross, just like he said he would (examples below), and then rose from the dead.
    "Was he dead or alive?"
He could've been dead, actually. In Jonah 2:1 he describes himself as being "in the belly of Sheol." "Sheol" is a Hebrew word for death that can be used both literally and metaphorically. Dr. Naik makes much of the fact that Jonah prays, and feels that this is somehow proof that Jonah was alive, but if prayer just means talking to God, I fully expect to do that after I'm dead.
"If he dies, it's not a miracle."
Well, it would be if he died and then was raised from the dead by God.
"For him to fulfill the prophecy of the Sign of Jonah he has to be alive!"
No, he doesn't. The point of the Sign of Jonah was to rebuke the Jewish religious leaders for their unbelief in Jesus as Messiah and Son of God (Matthew 12:38). The first parallel Jesus draws is the time factor, which does not require an exact "three days and three nights" fulfillment because it was a common Jewish idiom at the time to describe even a single part of a day as "a day and a night." If Dr. Naik disputes this, and insists that Jesus *must* be in the heart of the earth for *exactly* three days and three nights, without recognizing the common Jewish idiom Jesus is using here, the question is obvious: when *did* Jesus fulfill this prophecy?
But Jesus doesn't stop with the time factor in Matthew 12--he goes on to describe Old Testament examples of Gentiles coming in to worship the God of Israel (Jonah and the Queen of Sheba), which would be a core sign of the Messiah's coming (Isaiah 49:6). Dr. Naik is simply wrong on this point.
If there's any further doubt of this, consider this list of references in which Jesus, in his own unequivocal words, predicts his death on the cross for sins and resurrection from the dead. Dr. Naik often demands "single unequivocal statements" before he will accept Christian beliefs--except on this issue. Why is that?

Ok so first the Bible (outside of Antioch) did use the word “Christian”. The apostle Peters 1st Epistle is towards the Christian, and how are lives as Christians ought to be. In the 4th chapter he even used the word Christian, when referring to suffering. “Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God because of it.”
    ‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭4‬:‭16‬ ‭
The main argument that I’ve seen used to “prove” from the Bible that Jesus said He would not die is Matthew 12:40. Because Muslims say that Jonah never died in the whale. But Jonah did die. “and said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, And he heard me; Out of the belly of hell cried I, And thou heardest my voice. For thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst of the seas; And the floods compassed me about: All thy billows and thy waves passed over me.”
    ‭‭Jonah‬ ‭2‬:‭2‬-‭3‬ ‭KJV‬‬
“Out of the belly of hell I cried”. Some translations say Sheol. Well what I’d Sheol/Hell? It is the place where the dead go. Jonah was swallowed by the whale, and was dead for the time he was in the whale, and was spat out after 3 days and 3 nights, alive. Just as Jesus, who died on the cross, He was taken down and was buried. After 3 days He was raised from the dead, and was alive. During the time Jonah was in the fish, he was dead. During the time Jesus was in the grave, He was dead. After 3 days He rose again. And Jesus also through out the 4 gospels says that He is going to be killed.
“even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to **give his life** a ransom for many.”
    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭20‬:‭28‬ ‭KJV‬‬
“Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.”
    ‭‭John‬ ‭10‬:‭17‬-‭18‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Jesus here is clear saying He will lay down His life, and take it up again. Meaning He will die and rise again.
“And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. This he said, signifying what death he should die. The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man? Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth. While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.”
    ‭‭John‬ ‭12‬:‭32‬-‭36‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Jesus says He will be lifted up (crucified), and those there knew that He was saying He is going to be killed.
“And he straitly charged them, and commanded them to tell no man that thing; saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day.”
    ‭‭Luke‬ ‭9‬:‭21‬-‭22‬ ‭KJV‬‬
“From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.”
    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭16‬:‭21‬ ‭KJV‬‬
“And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.”
    ‭‭Mark‬ ‭8‬:‭31‬ ‭KJV‬‬
“And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said unto them, The Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men: and they shall kill him, and the third day he shall be raised again. And they were exceeding sorry.”
    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭17‬:‭22‬-‭23‬ ‭KJV‬‬
“And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; for this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom. And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives. Then saith Jesus unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad. But after I am risen again, I will go before you into Galilee.”
    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭26‬:‭26‬-‭32‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Jesus is very clear, over and over again Jesus said that He would die, not just die, but be killed on the cross. Jesus came into the world to die on the cross, so that through His blood shed on the cross all may have everlasting life if they have faith in Him.
“For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: and that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.”
    ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭14‬-‭15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

*Simon of Cyrene was a witness of the crucifixion.* How do we know this? Its very easy!
Paul in Romans 16:13 greets *Rufus, the son of Simon of Cyrene.*
Mark identifies Simon of Cyrene as a witness of the crucifixion in Mark 15:21.
So in Romans 16:13 Paul greets *Simon's son, Rufus* who is a fellow missionary:
"Greet Rufus , chosen in the Lord; also his mother, who has been mother to me as well"
....and *Mark identifies both Simon of Cyrene and his son Rufus in Mark 15:21*
"And they compelled a passerby, *SIMON OF CYRENE* , who was coming in from the country, the father of Alexander and *RUFUS* , to carry his cross."
This is how we know that *Surah 4:157 is false* , because we have direct line to a contemporary of Jesus who witnessed Jesus's crucifixion *FIRST HAND*

    According to the Bible:
This is what the Jews said, when mocking Jesus during his crucifixion.
“He trusts in God; let God rescue Him now, if He delights in Him; for He said, ‘I am the Son of God.’ ”
    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭27:43‬ ‭‬‬
    According to the Quran,
This is what Jews said at the time of his crucifixion:
“That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah"; but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not.” Surah 4:157
Which of these two accounts of what the Jews said, during the crucifixion, is a better reason to rescue Jesus from the cross.
The first one or the second?
This only shows that Allah has no knowledge of the Bible, because he would have used the first reason to lie, if he knew it was written in the Bible.

No, when Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) passed away, they did not wait for three days before burying him. According to Islamic tradition, burial should be done as soon as possible after death. The Prophet passed away on a Monday (12th of Rabi' al-Awwal, 11 AH), and he was buried the following day, on Tuesday. The delay was due to the companions (Sahaba) gathering to discuss and appoint a successor (caliph), as well as preparing for the Prophet's burial according to the proper rituals.

These verses clearly proves that Jesus wasn't crucified
1 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.[a]
2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”
3 Surely he will save you
    from the fowler’s snare
    and from the deadly pestilence.
4 He will cover you with his feathers,
    and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
5 You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
8 You will only observe with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.
9 If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,”
and you make the Most High your dwelling,
10 no harm will overtake you,
no disaster will come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
    to guard you in all your ways;
12 they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
    13 You will tread on the lion and the cobra;
you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
    14 “Because he[b] loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
    15 He will call on me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him
    and show him my salvation.”
    - Psalm 91:10-16
Psalm 91 clearly proves that Jesus wasn't crucified. Read the verses carefully. It says you'll see the punishment of the wicked. No harm will overtake you. God will command the angels to guard you and they'll lift you up with their hands. God said, "I will rescue him, I will protect him."
    And the Holy Qur'an says,
"That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah";- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:-
No indeed, Allah raised him up to Him; and Allah has been Ever-Mighty, Ever-Wise."
    - Surah An-Nisa(النساء) 4:157-158
Bible says, you'll see the punishment of the wicked. No harm will overtake you. God will command the angels to guard you and they'll lift you up with their hands and the Holy Qur'an says, they neither killed him nor crucified him. It was made to appear to them. Allah raised him up to him. Lift you up, raised him up. Did you get that? Jesus Christ (pbuh) wasn't crucified. It was made to appear to them so that they would think that Jesus Christ (pbuh) was crucified and Bible also says, you'll see the punishment of the wicked so it's clear that it was the wicked one who was crucified.

The issue is that you choose what areas in the bible can be used to fulfill the islamic narrative.
The sign of jonah for instance. While i see your point, jesus spoke in parables. This was a metaphor, it did not mean that he had to be alive to fufill it. there are several other instances in the bible that completely contradict the muslim narrative on the death of Jesus, but every single one of those have been “corrupted”
    Examples :
    Mark 15:37
    Luke 23:46
    John 19:33
Plus there are several jewish letters claiming that he Absolutely Died on the cross.
    As well as Gentile sources.
If allah made it appear to the disciples that Jesus died, but he actually didn’t. Allah is the founder of Christianity and he started the religion that sent the most people to hell.
Not to mention he just let 675 years of Christians spread the gospel in which Jesus Dies and is Resurrected. Why would he take so long to correct his people.
I would love a response. Im just confused as to why some biblical scripture gets to be used to fit the muslim narrative and some do not.
Not looking to hurt anyone just wanting to spark a conversation.

*Founder of Christianity Cult was Satan Paul*
*Jesus was not a pagan Christian like you*
*Jesus was a Muslim and his faith was Islam*
