The column, stalks and ignition barrel are off a Fiat X1/9 or Lancia Monte Carlo; they're both the same. I have the build manual for your car if you want it. Cheers.
The 3.9 was a mk1 range rover vogue engine can't mind if it was the carb or early efi so that would be where I would start looking. The stalks look like yugo 45,55,65 or fiat 127.
To stop the front splitter getting damaged in the future, buy or womble a skateboard, attach the trucks just underneath so it rolls over them instead of wacking the spoiler. I think the column is fiat X 1.9.
Sam this is probably one of the nicest Countach replicas I have ever seen. You need to drive this up to Iain Tyrrell’s shop. He’s one of the leading authorities on the real Countach and could be interesting and fun to see this next to the real thing to compare and contrast.
That is the Buick/Rover 3.9v8 out the range rover. It just takes a 10w 40 Semi synthetic ( Not Fully) synthetic!! Due to age I would recommend Valvoline with Zinc content. Steering switch gear could be a Fiat product??? Be not sure. Good luck with everything Sam 😁👍
The interior looks like a nice place to be 🤩 if that v8 works as well as the suspension looks you will have a huge smile on your face all the way to london 🙌
There is a thing with rover V8 oil changes. Sometimes the crappy external oil pump empties dry and won't re prime itself, but only if you change the filter while theres no oil in the sump. Protocol is fill the new filter with oil and change that, and only after that, drop the oil out the sump. If it does happen, and there's no oil pressure after the oil change, the factory fix was to unbolt the plate off the oil pump and stuff the gears full of vaseline. It'll want stodgy oil in it, 10/40 at least. it wont like 5/30. Cool looking car, looks like it wants a spanner check over all the rose joint bolts and lock nuts as per standard race car routine, And maybe a very light smear of plumbers silicone grease on the shiny rose joint balls to stop them creaking. P.s. thinking the indicator stalk looks a bit fiat 131.
This brings back memories, all these Countach replicas usually look worse than they are underneath but yours looks pretty good, as you said just a clean up needed 👍🙏☝️
This *looks* like an original Prova Countach which used the 3.5l engine out of a Range Rover, which is what it sounds like is fitted to this. If that's the one then this would have 5.7litres of oil of 20W50 oil in it. The stalks I'm not sure about though....
I think it is Fiat 127 Lamborghini used a lot of Fiat products as it was cheap and ready available out in ltaly, I assume the builders wanted to keep with the look.
Danger Mouse theme song is still playing in my head 🤣 Penfold.... Shush! That Lampoorghini is a keeper for sure. If you don't fit in it you don't have to feel bad chopping a well/bucket in the floor and dropping the seat more. I sat in a Countach at a car show, clearly not designed with 6"+ people in mind. You should be able to score 4-5 inches pretty easily between dropping the floor under the driver's seat and a lower profile seat.
Those rear light panels were not only used on the anniversary model, but also on the 5000QV. I reviewed a real 5000QV that had them. Other QV’s came with them as well.
Thats a cool car, Back in the late 80's to 1990 I was in school in Cardigan west wales, one of my friends at that times Dad with a surname of Higgins and a business partner had a unit on the Pentood industrial estate building lambo kit cars. I'm pretty sure they built quite a few for rich guys in Saudi to put on race tracks and they had chevy v8 motors in. They'd also buy plastic badges from the local. Lamborghini tractor dealer to put on them, so they had "genuine" badges on L.O.L.
I've seen the storks before, their old, of something (I think) like a Citroën, Renault Flat, thinking about it,Flat, an old boxy 124 or something I think, looks like an old Alfa Gulietta
The backs perfect man. Lamborghini fixed something hideous with the anniversary edition in my opinion. A couple of years ago I saw a local traveller lad absolutely floor a Countach down the road near my house. The noise was insane man, I doubt I'll ever see that again lol. I live in NW England and my mates nickname is still after decades Penfold cos he looked like the sidekick from Danger mouse when we were at school.
It’s a good build quality and keep this in mind unlike the Lamborghini that they built today the original one built in Italy so if you plan on driving it you are probably better off with the kit , because the real one doesn’t have power steering.
The exhaust definitely needs to be sorted out so you can unleash the sound of that V8. Is there any way to alter the interior so that you are able to fit inside the car properly? Being a replica, it's not sacrilege, but I know the real thing is small inside. Plus, after the Gumball Rally, I'd love to see it in an official Lamborghini paint colour other than that Bentley metallic green currently. White/Red/Black/Yellow or more rare, the Dark Blue? The Anniversary Edition rear panel is far far better than the original. Don't change that.
@@Hardupgarage good replicas don't come around too often. The real Countach is way stupid money these days and getting more and more expensive each year. So owning the real thing is sort of out of the question, not to mention the insurance! I have loved the Lamborghini Countach since I was young seeing it in car mags. Then, I saw it on Miami Vice along with the Daytona Spyder and Tubbs' Testarossa. Three of THE 80's super cars in one show and all of them I always wanted, even if they were replicas. I wouldn't sell it. Make it yours.
Who cares it's cheap ,it's reliable, it looks awesome ,it's quite fast ....... LOVE IT ❤🤝
Same qualities I look for in women :)
Looks like fiat stalks to me
I have to say your lamborghini replica looks awesome
Did I see a Sierra in the back? What is it doing being scrapped?

I immediately thought X1.9, as I remembered one countach maker using them, other fiats may also work.
To stop the front splitter getting damaged in the future, buy or womble a skateboard, attach the trucks just underneath so it rolls over them instead of wacking the spoiler.
I think the column is fiat X 1.9.
Thanks homie
I love to watch replica content on YT and your Lambo is clearly one of the best I've seen so far!
the rear definetly looks better with anniversary

Yes please go and visit Iain that would be so funny!
Countach copied it.

Yay, thanks for the new video Sam.
The best replica you've had on your channel.. would be epic to see this on the road and people's reactions.
I love replica Countaches 😀🤘🏽🔥
the stocks for the whipers and flashing lights its seem to be from and old Fiat.
i recognize them from the fiat 147, 600, 127, etc.
The interior looks like a nice place to be 🤩 if that v8 works as well as the suspension looks you will have a huge smile on your face all the way to london 🙌
is that a sierra 3 door in the back?
What a choice for the Gumball... Having a Lampoorghini Countach or Danger Mouse and Penfold driving along with them🤣
Older V8s need high zinc content oil. I use Valvoline VR1
4 Poster Ramp,,,,, Get your grease tin and brush out, grease the posts and rollers, PS: loving the Lambo {none MR2}

Thats a nice countach the ignitiion can be found in some fiats and alfa romeos and the stalks can be as well i believe
sorry to say but those tie rods are welded and look quite unsafe
That poor thing deserves to have that entire suspension torn down, blasted, recoated, and reinstalled with new hardware.
Are the indicator stalks fiat x1/9 ?
whats the orange car on the deep wheels? is it for sale?
These kit cars give me a chuckle every time i see one😃
Who cares if it isn't accurate, it's custom, looks lovely jubbly 🔥😍🖤

G'day from Australia 👍🇦🇺
Hey mark
Not bad at all except for that rover v8 ……that’s gotta got. A rep that clean deserves some kind of v12
Danger Mouse theme song is still playing in my head 🤣

I really like replica countachs an this one is done pretty good , fyi that little panel under the car is for smuggling your foecaine of course.
It's got cheap copper brake pipes when it should really have aluminium or even steel pipes copper is crap under heavy braking
a nice BMW v12 implant would do this wonders!!
If you haven't got any yet. Get some Valvolene VR1 20w50 in there. With a flat tappet cam always get oil with zinc in it 😎
Something in the back of my mind, says the stalks, were, are the ones used in Austin, Morris Marina, Allegro, ones. Could be wrong though.
Indicator stalk looks like 80's fiat, maybe X19
Nothing but closeups of this guy's face...
Hey Sam you get a salvage Lamborghini motor with a Graciano transmission straight pipe it at a turbo gonna be really fast
Looking good mate
Dude I like and enjoy Tyler, Freddy mat, ect but your your the most for real tuber out there. Keep it up thxs
Thanks matey

@@Hardupgarage you’re welcome. Very good replica you have 👍
is that orange camber car yours
I want it, let me know how to get it
What kit replica is it.?
You post it we will watch
Thanks matey
stalks look like early fiat ie: fiat 127 Ect, I could be wrong

Lee at Barum Engines will tell you which oil is recommended 👍

@@Hardupgaragecolumn switches are early fiat x19 (pre 85) on later cars they dropped the 'paddle style' ends.
If it was mine I'd redo the front suspension and up date the Motor and re do that interior .
defo speed sensor near driveshaft older style
Lubricate the lift mabye?😅 Nice Famborghini tho.!

Make this mint on the outside and make it reliable 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Looks like its built from a Trashcan😂
Whoa Danger Mouse's car 😲 no wayyyy

It is so sick nice ❤️
I would rather drive this than a real one! Needs another engine though. 👍🏻
