Beautiful buildings! The original door at 0:29 must have been super tall! I like the decor above the windows at 2:34 on the upper left. The old brick foundation at 3:17 looks like a bombed-out building...I wonder if someone local knows more about this? Good view at 3:45 of the spire (giving ions) and the dome (collecting and storing energy), plus the water fountain. Fun fact: "The tallest church in the world is Ulm Minster, with a steeple measuring 530 ft, while the tallest cathedral in the world is the Cologne Cathedral with a height of 515 ft." I just searched, "why do churches have steeples"...of course the answer hides the real reason! Meanwhile, a natural gas company gives a more accurate reason: "At Spire, we believe the greatest energy in the world comes from one source-people. So we created a strategy to use that energy for good and have a positive, measurable impact on the world around us."

As much as I love watching your videos, I have to disagree about the history part of these areas. The term "Tartarian" is a result of a Russian nationalist propaganda from the 20th century. I don't have a problem with the theory that many of the buildings of the Old World were repurposed and that they may have been used for much more than we see today, but the notion of this world-spanning empire of Tartaria really makes no sense.
In my opinion, the Old World was a very intricate and complex set of different civilizations that were probably intertwined in cultural exchange and trade, but there is no way that it was all just one people, because that would make us all Russians in the end, and that's where I draw the line. We know for a fact that different civilizations developed all over the Earth, but they did exchange ideas and architectural knowledge to one another.
