Thanks ActionKid! I normally wouldn't watch a whole video that's basically an ad for something. But I've had an inkling to get a scooter like this to put in my car or carry on the subway to ride to that "last block" to my destination.
Good to know you got another sponsored video, and we get to see another e-scooter review! 😃 The GoTrax G5 looks sturdy, and I like the blue lights on the side of the deck. It handled the rough road surfaces well, and good to know the brakes work. 👍 Good job with always picking scenic backgrounds to feature your e-scooters. 😍 Thank you for sharing this e-scooter review and ride, AK! 🤗🛴
I like how quiet it’s and you can tell they’re trying to perfect the performance of the scooter. I have a new mobility scooter for older people 😉 and it’s great.
Hello AK ! Nice E scooter , very smooth & nifty👍 you are so lucky to be free to go wherever you want. I'm caring for my dad 24/7 & it's nice to watch you go places . Its very therapeutic Thank you ❤
I got this scooter last week and it was the best purchase I’ve made in a while lol. I think the G6 would’ve be perfect as it gives you that extra 10 mile range and a lock feature. Constant acceleration with a 500w motor definitely gets the battery draining. G5 still an amazing new starter scooter, I just didn’t want to wait 2 months for the G6 😅
Good Monday Morning My Friend IAM Hoping That You Are Having A Rejoicing Day I Really Appreciate You For Inviting All Of Us To Ride Our Scooter Along With You Thank You So Much For Demonstrating The Scooter Ride For All Of Us Much Blessings And Love Always Ms British Gray From Tampa Florida 😊
Quite nice looking e-scooter🛴and equipped quite nicely 😎Seems smooth ride , i enjoyed a lot , these rides with scooter are my favorites 😎Thank you for sharing A K🙂👍!!!
I have a GoTrax G4 (2+ problem free years) and I am considering an upgrade to this new G5. Primarily for the suspension, however the 500 W motor with a 48 V battery is also a perk. GoTrax seems to have upped its game, including its customer service. Do you think I should wait for the h coming soon) G6?
Great review! One of these days you should do a scooter rider safety video. You seem to ride this with a lot of experienced confidence. But I know in NYC it's not as easy as it looks!
Hello, ActionKid. This is a great idea and presentation. Would you do the same with small folding electric bikes.? And, if not inconvenient for you: where a small folding electric bike can be purchased in NYC. Thanks.
Hi there this has a 9.6 amp/h battery in real world conditions it would have to be like 12 miles if you went and decent speed. I have a 48 volt 18 amp/h scooter and it gets 18 to 20 max if you are careful with the speed. most scooter company's test range with a very light person going very slow to make it sound better
Wow cool how many of those scooters do you own? You seem to have a lot of those. I'm sure you still have some in Florida as well . But great 👍🏿 video as always action kid. Thanks for this video great to know what's good out there on the market
Mine ninebot max is 3 years old, and still runs like new.. need to change battery after this season.. i only drive in eco mode only. Just because i need it for my long rides..
Love my ninebot that I’ve currently had for 3 years now, It’s amazing quality for the price but I’m looking to get a new one probably the P65 since it goes 25 MPH and has a 40.4 mile range.
@@mattpronovost2170 ill kept mine.. in 3 years i changed throtle and now i have tubes. Because tubeles is leaking.. least i had problems.. i only drive in ECO mode up to 15Kmh... battery is still very healthy because of that... i have few videos.. but not anymore because i need entire week to upload in 1080p... ufff...
40 miles, like yours. if you still have it... just make sure that your tires are really hard inflated. less friction means better range and better gliding. mine is very early first gen. from end of 2019. 4900 miles in 3 years. and temperatures has major effect on maximum range..
Wow! That's half the price and 500 watts is double the power of my 2 year-old E-bike! Technology goes forward in leaps and bounds! The 31 mile range is another improvement, but still not quite enough to get you from Astoria to Coney Island and back in one go eh Ken?! 😄
Well - I had to dig some, but got the information. So disappointed this model has a real range of about 12 miles! I will wait for the G6 or get the new Segway G2.
Just curious about your riding habits….. it seems you ride right (with caution) through red lights. In my riding locals, scooters need to abide by automobile rules, which only permit right turn on red (not a criticism, just an observation) Any comment? Great video! Thanks.
Omg looks AMAZING!!! EXACTLY what an ActionKid needs in NYC!
I like all of your scooter rides, whether you are reviewing a scooter or riding for fun . Thanks for sharing your views.
Thanks ActionKid!

Much appreciated! The "last mile" of a commute can be the trickiest and most challenging.

I feel that way too! GoTrax is really improving their line of scooters
Wow, what a nice scooter! The price is amazing too!
It really is! I love how well it performs.

Wow! This scooter is nice, quite an improvement in micro-mobility. A great price too. Thanks for this test and review ride.
Nice to see you are getting some sponsors.

You're welcome, glad you enjoyed it!
nice video. you have to have a high level of confidence to ride those things
You really do, it takes some time to get used to.
Great transportation! Thank you for sharing!
very good deal- how long it take to charge and when in avg will power die off?
5 hours okay
Great demo! Manufactured in TX!!!
Thanks!
Now I want this
Would you recommend this or the inmotion climber you reviewed in Florida?
This cost $824.00 CDN on the website. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for sharing ActionKid👍
Are you ok with front and rear suspension rather than front suspension for bikes and scooters?
Any type of suspension is welcomed!
Been looking around for a scooter. Gotrax looks amazing.
Another informative and helpful AK review.
It's quite steep where I live, had to buy 5600 Watt scooter, just love it, way more than my 1 liter Ninja, not kidding.
Wow, that's some serious power needed for those hills!
I’ve enjoyed your scooter ‘walks’ and want more! See you soon.

Cool video and review. Btw. Am I the only one that saw sonic on road. Lol.
Do you like it enough to keep it. Would you ride it over the bridge? Thanks Ken.
*Gmax ultra is 500w motor as well. U felt g5 accelerated faster?

What big box store is this scooter offered?
what's the real everyday use range of the G5. If I can get 20 miles out of this model - I will get it.
G5 looks good!
It really is!

How many miles does it go on one full charge? They advertise 25-35 miles but what is the real situation with it?

Action will you be using this scooter in Florida also?
It's possible!
Our boy went New Jersey to film sponsor video, my man u made it, wishing u more big sponsors to come👍
This was in Long Island City

Hi Ak, what's the size of the battery and what's it's range?
According to the website 48V 10.4AH Lithium-ion Battery (499Wh) and MILES PER CHARGE - 25-35 miles
@@ActionKid sorry no way its 9.6 and that would be about 12 miles real world
James and Karla, had a vintage rock hopper bike two bikes, they were giving away, the bikes needs tubes those people, that know how to rebuild bikes.

They are great exactly the same as my new one just a different brand name mine is by Reid boost being an Aussie brand enjoy 😊

It's great to see these micro mobility vehicles improving
Ken they've made those kick scooters here in Toronto Canada illegal but they're not enforcing it yet
In NYC, they're legal on streets, but not on sidewalks and parks. He's lucky a toy cop didn't hassle him at the very beginning of the video.
I wouldn't be concerned about it then. There are already thousands of micro mobility vehicles and scooters on Toronto streets.
max weight can carry?
According to the website MAX RIDER WEIGHT - 220lbs
Good job with the review. Wireless mic now and an own camera man! ;)
Thank you so much!

Ak on wheels!
I should've gotten this scooter instead of the one I got with no brakes which caused me to fall while intoxicated 😔
Learning to stop is not on list ;)
So now you have 3 scooters.

Wow kid thats a way better scooter than mine, which only has one mode……peasant mode 😢
Great!

oh... & never charge lithium batteries indoors 🌋🏡
Ion battery
@@ActionKid would be insulted if I literally had an idea what that meant
If customer service is important to you, do not purchase anything from this company. I cannot state it any clearer than that
You totally stopped your scooter wrong. Your supposed to lean back, which is a poor example for newbie riders.
