    Thanks for great tips, I tried your plain version and it's delicious. I'm on a low oxalate diet and these are the perfect replacement for spinach, I find they have a similar taste plus that crunchy part is the best!

      Thank you for the feedback! We've been really short of time recently and had to compromise. Filming with both of us on camera takes a lot more time since there is no camera person and we have to do some actions twice to get the coverage needed - this way we were able to continue making videos while doing our other work :) hehe stay tuned though we'll both be back on camera together soon.

    What could be a substitute for corn starch? Will normal wheat flour do?

    • @KindofCooking
      @KindofCooking  3 роки тому

      The alternative is tapioca starch. You wouldn’t be able to do it with a flour.

    • @janettebuba126
      @janettebuba126 Рік тому

      Best substitude for corn starch is Arrow Root powder, can be used exactly as corn starch

    Kevin Kevin Kevin, what are we going to do with you? How can u not like ginger? Have ing said that, that is a huge amount of ginger used for a plate of veg, my wallet just skipped a beat. Here in Sydney ginger was selling for $60/kg a month or so ago.
    Homegrown Gai lan of a the best, great work Carmen. I just wish I wasn’t such a black thumb, I manage to kill plastic plants.

    • @KindofCooking
      @KindofCooking  3 роки тому +1

      LOL! hmmm no one has figured out what to do with me yet ... parents, family, teachers, wife ... so that's clearly the million dollar question. I'm fine with SOME ginger when you can't taste it. HAHA yeah, that was a big chunk of ginger I don't think we ended up using all of it. Also, not sure why ginger is so damn expensive in Aust. when we went back last time it was already expensive at $30-40/kg ... I guess it's because it's home grown ;) your labour is expensive. Maybe try importing it haha.
