- !976 Honda CB750 cafe racer with a 900cc big bore kit.
Trick brakes & Suspension; everything dialed in and proven,
This bike is en example of the best of the best as far as CB750 performance engine building goes....
You're a bastard for not starting it!! Some cool mods though indeed.
Russ Collins from R.C. Engineering was the guy who first thought of running those bolts through the valve cover to support the cam towers. Back in the day his 315 grind cam would have really made those 900cc's come alive.
Very nice! Great work!
Pebble watch , a man of class.
i cant enjoyed this videos because no exhaust sound
Those low handlebars in connection with footrests in the original position is a no go!
I love this bike
To get to sleep each night, I disassemble/reassemble a cb750 sohc engine in my mind.
Just picked a 1978cb750, and I am very interested in what it takes to use a Henry Abe 900cc big bore kit in the stock cb750
You did not start it, wth was you thinking bro, Yeah I noted it wasn't finished. Would love to hear it!
Beautiful work mate!
Nice Job Steve !
Thanks. I used plenty of standard assembly tape and some green zip ties to make it totally Bad Ass.
Man I’d love to pick your mind. I’m in the process of building a 72 CB750 SOHC
I own a 75’ Kawasaki Z1b, should I be worried ? Just asking. 😎
More of a question then a comment. Anyway I bought a 1983 Nighthawk 750 back in 92 it had 20,000 miles on it everything seemed to be completely stock and I was clocked on the freeway by two sports bikes at just barely over 140mph and I weighed 165 lb at the time so explain that to me if you can ?
Rocket man might be his favorite song
Love it. Nice work.
A lot of work and some nice customizations on the bike. Unfortunately, it looks tired and beat.
Humble..
The bike sold. Thanks all for looking.
how much of a difference does the big bore kit make?
Nice work Steve ! Greetings from Wooster Ohio .. we need some one like you around here .. let me know if you want to move here ?
beautiful bike
Just got a 1980 CB750F. Planning to rebuild top end for some more power. Should I do a Wiseco piston kit or full big bore? Is the extra power worth double the price?
Hey Steven I wanted to ask whether where are you located? I'm located in California and I would absolutely love to have one in my CB750 Motors rebuilt but I don't really have the confidence in myself to rebuild it alone if you could help me that be great brother
Sweet job! do you think a 1977 cb750A hondamatic can be converted to 900cc?
Fernando Agostinelli, yes.
+Steven Michaelis thanks I will look into that. Do you mind telling me what set of pistons did you use?
Fernando Agostinelli I used a 900cc Henry Abe piston kit with a MLS head gasket and custom machined L.A. Sleeves for the cylinders. I also had to machine the upper engine case to receive the larger sleeves. There are several other piston kits out that were not available when I bought my Henry Abe kit. Good luck with your project.
+Steven Michaelis that's awesome,thank you!
Yes, but you don't want to do that to a Honda matic lol
WOW and Nice !
How does it ride and perform?
Thanks, we didn't want to hear it run or anything .....
I wanna hear this thing so bad
Nice! Would like to talk to you about my 7CB 750 Will

Where the hell do y'all buy parts for these? I'm looking at buying a 1978 CB750A Hondamatic but it needs some work and I need to be able to find parts
www.dimecitycycles.com/

Needs oil cooler
Without oilcooler the 900 motor will be die.
Sorry...
